The Collector stared at the machine and its self importance, and the things it spouted that were just wrong, further proving its ignorance. The entity wasn't sure whether to face palm with her many arms, point out she already had her own army but certainly didn't need to prove it to him or burst into hysterical laughter.

Luckily, Red was straight into the brawl and sorted out her mental dilemma for her by going straight for the impudent robot. "If you're looking for illusions you'd be better off looking at the Gods than at a Morality"

She then turned her attention to Devon, holed up in his tree, and grinned without grinning again "Hiding won't save you, little man" a pair of tendrils were sent at Devons tree, to try and prise it apart.

Then the lightning blast came and the accompanying voice, making the entity look up and narrow her eyes "Does it now? And however are you going to stop it?"

In the stands closest to them, the higher cloud particles touched the Sheeple, starting their grisly work.

((Would be more descriptive but my phone is about to die))

The dust begins to settle and clear. First thing that can be made out is a scimitar, held upright, point in the ground, metal gleaming, bone handle white, gem glowing with power. Then a kneeling man, his eyes ablaze with white light, staring down the Collector. Behind him a Dragon that could easily dwarf any present floats, black and gold scales reflecting the fire within it's master's eyes.

"The question is not how am I going to stop it. The question is what will be left of you after the Sanity Blade is done."

As if synchronized, the God of Insanity and his Dragon attack. He leaps forward with blazing speed, the point of his cursed weapon directly towards the entity's core. His Dragon, Shalim, flies off to contend with Red and give the robot...thing a chance to regroup.

The Sheeple up in the stands affected by The Artificers cloud of nanomachines bleated and mooed in dismay as the tiny robots did their work, infecting the body and shifting them into something more deadly. The creatures teeth that had once been flat and suited only for chewing grass became sharpened metal points, their hooves became claws in the same vein as did their half hoof hands. The wool was shed, unnecessary and unneeded for their repurposing. At one point there were sickening sounds of backs breaking as the Sheeples bone structure was rewritten to make them quadrupedal, their limbs streamlined to become faster, more efficient killing machines. Even the once small horns on their heads suddenly grew thanks to the Artificer technology, becoming forward pointing horns sharp as daggers and their ears underwent the same treatment. The now nightmarish cattle stared wih dead eyes, awaiting their input from the machine. The ones that hadn't bolted away from the area in instinctive fear by that time that is.

((Congrats, Borg, Arty's just killed half the population :P. And gotten his army so... there's that XD))

The Collector was interrupted in her attempts to get at Devon by a God of Insanity charging at her with a very sharp looking cursed blade. She'd barely got out the word "You!" after he'd spoken before the deity forced her to go on the defensive, folding layer upon layer of her limbs in front of her to prevent the blade from reaching the core of her. Oh, the setbacks of taking such a large form... Even so, the limbs that managed to get put up in time were pushed back as the Sanity Blade pierced through the thick fluid of several limbs she hadn't been able to harden enough in time.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!" the Collector's scream echoed around them, seemingly coming from the Arena itself as well as the entity in the centre, more surprised but definitely hurt. She actually hurt a lot. It was an unpleasant sensation that surpassed every attack that had been dealt to her right up to this point, and a testament to the Sanity Blades power. But it couldn't very well turn something that already operated at its most basic level, into something less than what it was.

What it did do, though, was cause a Scarf to fall out of one of the Morality's limbs, touched by the Blade it'd lost it's power and thus it's hold over the being that had once willingly accepted it's influence. So C's eyes returned to their natural, glowing bright red.

... Along with a few points of tendrils that hadn't quite gotten there in time, the pure evil that C was made up of dropped to the ground, and lost their form as they became puddles of ooze. Still dangerous, but not as directed.

"Nice try" C said, raising a particularly large limb that hadn't been brought to bear to protect her centre "But I'm certainly not going down in one hit, not even to a God" the entity brought the tendril down as fast as a whip, to try and bat DP away from her, or at least, hit him with the sharp tip as an answer to his skewering.

In the centre of this all the maze itself, devoid of holding anything it had been made for seemed to sink into the ground, until it was covered by the Arenas floor, leaving only the flat area that had been there before the maze had been dropped.

C's blow caught DP on the side, causing him to fly off to the side. He flew off and tumbled against the ground a few times before righting himself and sliding to a stop. The moment he came to a complete stop he kicked off again in a high arc, bringing the blade down in a diagonal slash.

If one was to stop for a moment, they'd notice that none of his usual glee resided in him. He had a determined look to him, his eyes still glowing so fiercely they could only be described as ablaze. He knew one hit would not bring this foe down, but he was determined that this battle would not be lost. Either way he had to get to that brush. That kind of power had no place in the mortal realms.

C would have used the brief respite to try and pull down Devons tree, but, this was a God she was fighting now. Taking her eyes off him for a moment would be foolish even after a successful blow. Still, there was one thing she could do. "GLAZE!" her voice echoed across the entire Encampment, just as loud as her scream had been.

She was right not to turn her attention away from DP, as she'd known she would be, for the deity regrouped and was upon her very quickly once again. This time, bringing the sword down on her from on high.

The diagonal slash cut through quite a few more of C's limbs, though this time the entity confined her pain to an inhuman hissing noise. She was also more ready for the attack, sending one of the tendrils that had previously been helping hold her up off the ground up to try and grab him. By the leg, the waist or the arm-she didn't care what. But if she was successful, she'd try slamming him repeatedly into the ground

The Artificer was smashed again by an almighty pile of dirt, doing further damage and setting the machine back as it flew through the air. Tracking the movements of the red dragon, it expected to be caught and torn apart further, but that never happened. Another creature had intervened, blunting the attack. This however meant the machine smashed into the ground again instead.

It's previously barely repaired legs were twisted once more, and the Artificer was still vulnerable... until support arrived.

[REPAIR 37% COMPLETE]

[ARTIFICER SLAVE SIGNALS DETECTED; LINKING]

[384 SIGNALS DETECTED, DESIGNATION - HUSK VIRUS]

[INITIATING WARLORD OVERRIDE]

The newly created Husks froze for a moment as the will of the Artificer took over. The machine was looking through the eyes of each creature simultaneously, surveying it's surroundings and enemies. There was a new being in the mix, wielding something known as a "Sanity Blade". It gave off an immense magical reading... and yet it had helped the Artificer.

The Husks turned their heads in unison towards the Collector, and screamed.

[ATTACK COMMANDS INITIATED]

The God felt this blade cut deep into the being. But almost as soon as he did he realized his foolishness. He cursed himself as he felt an icy tendril wrap around his leg. Before he could react, he was being flung around once, twice, three times. As he was mid air for the forth swing he regained his composure and disapparated from the creatures grasp, only to apparate a few feet away in an on-guard stance.

He was foolish - that was for sure, because now he was on the defensive, forced to wait there for the Collector's next attack. He'd have to play this smarter if he was to achieve anything resembling victory.

C would relish the memory of bashing DP around, she was sure, for a long time but the God had disapparated after three strikes. Still, he was going to end up leaving pieces of her everywhere if this kept up, and she couldn't spend too much time pulling herself together at this point. This form was too big and slow... ahh.

The Collectors glowing red eyes disappeared from the outside of the large form she'd taken, and the form itself seemingly exploded, sending pieces of substance that C both wss and was made out of flying in all directions. The only part of this that was directed was the human sized globule that was sent for DP, but that wasn't the only thing. C was behind it, in the body that she favoured in this reality-the half humanoid, half wyvern one. The entity ran behind the globule on clawed, double bent reptilian legs, the long tail with the barbed tip streaming behind her. The hands she favoured this time were the snake heads with their sharp teeth, far more suited to her style than human hands. She'd even formed the skinless wings on her back, though right now they were folded. Her face and her torso were clearly humanoid female, as was her hair, but her eyes were the same and there was no hint of colour on her body other than the darkness. She fully intended to bring her tail to bear on the God should her little distraction not work. Funnily enough, she expected him to get out of it.

Perhaps fortunately, the screaming Artificer cattle were going to have to do better than just yell at her to get her attention.

A roar erupted from somewhere abovs them and just outside of the Arena, though not from a Dragon anywhere near as big as Shalim, and smaller than Red. She was quite large even so, and glacier blue with cold grey eyes. The blue ice Dragon sported a snowstorm pattern underneath her wings as well as straight ice white horns on top of her hard head. This was Glaze, formerly the assassin Fade before the entity had gotten to her with the brush. Glaze hesitated for a moment, surveying the chaos below before she folded her wings and dived for the things she knew definitely shouldn't be there-the tree first, the cattle after.

Glaze opened her claws and brought them forwards as she dived at Devons shelter, to try and tear it down with her weight and momentum.

[REPAIRS 54% COMPLETE]

The Artificer slowly rose to it's feet once more, although it could do little else at this point, and combat was certainly not an option. Looking through the eyes of it's new soldiers, the machine lord watched as The Collector exploded into a shower of flying goo, huge blobs of a black, tar like substance flying everywhere. Several Husks where caught in the globules, but they would escape before too long.

The Artificer caught several glimpses of a new form behind a blob aimed at the new combatant, possibly another form of The Collector, and ordered a dozen Husks to pursue her. The rest were ordered to surround the Artificer, creating a shield of flesh, bone and metal, as the repairs completed.

As DP stood on-guard, the being before him seemingly exploded. A large chunk of...whatever spewed right for him. He had no clue what was behind it, being somewhat limited in this form. As it hit him, he deflected as much as he could and immediately returned his guard. Good thing, as the Collector, now in a vaguely humaniod form, was right there ready to attack.

The Dark Psycho quickly parried upper right, swung his blade around while he reset his stance, and slashed upwards and left.

((the battle may get real slow right here....hand to hand (or sword to hand) combat can do that. Should be a good read though))

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Master, another dragon has entered the arena airspace" Shalim reported via her link to the God.

"If we are to have any hope, those dragons must not come into play. Do not kill them, but make sure they stay preoccupied." He responded via the link while he fought the Collector

"Understood" With that she adjusted her heading, and let loose a tremendous fireball right towards Glaze. It would miss from this distance - it was not nearly fast enough. But it would be enough to get the dragon's attention.

C's tail was quite neatly deflected away from DP, her barbed tail tip clanging off the side and providing her an unfamiliar sensation of recoil. He was quick in choosing his attack after that too, the upwards left slash making the Collector have to step back to avoid getting cut too deeply. Still, the Sanity Blade managed to score a mark from close to the top of her stomach, on the far right of her body, up and across the top of her. shoulder. The wound didn't bleed though, it just stayed there.

The Collectors expression changed at this to one of a snarl, her eyes narrowed further. She could see the damage done and also glimpsed the dozen undead machines coming straight for her-but that wasn't what was suddenly making her angry...

The Collectors response to DPs slash was to raise her left, snake headed hand with the mouth wide open, and step forwards with her left leg to attempt what was effectively a palm strike with added razor sharp teeth.

In response to the charging monstrosities, just after C had glimpsed them, the globules of the sticky substance between them and her suddenly erupted into large, jagged spikes pointing up out of the ground. She certainly couldn't allow that many reinforcements to get over here, not unimpeded like that.

The sticky ooze that had landed on Arty's minions after the explosion wasn't just sticky, it was active, slowly moving over the creatures and apparently, looking for a way in.

Glaze felt a sudden burst of heat pass over her as she dived, Shalims massive fireball missing but certainly getting her attention. The Ice Dragon raised her head and glared at the large one as she fell, teeth bared over bloody fangs. Glaze put her head back down and slightly adjusted her dive so that she missed the tree. Instead, she arced so that she nearly skimmed the ground, before aiming the force and the momentum at the large black and gold creature.

The Collector's incision fell into the sturdy bark, leaving a perishable notch to the trunk. Agitated, the confined space of the man's stirred as the restless tendrils departed shortly after their light attack to his shelter. Though her attempt, if any was intended, to cripple the wood was quickly remedied by the glowing resin sealing the wound fully. That voice, it sounds familiar... Might it be the Lord Psycho? Opening his eyes, Devon flinched when gravity gave way.

Dropping to a fair match to his height beneath the soil, Devon observed the trees fortified the spaced he had occupied with a bundle of loose fibers. "A cushion of sorts," he whispered. "Just how far did the plants reach in the depths of my mind?"

To his surprise, apparently quite deep. Surrounding the man were oval stones swaying gently beside his head, giving off a soft orange glow in the otherwise dark hole. Grateful at the work, he reached a hand to the smooth pendants to examine them properly. The motion froze instantly by an immediate 'thud.'

The trees, disturbed once again, turned ever so more cautious. Above where the battle seethed in hatred, forced the delay of any vertical growth for now, having gone three meters thus far. However, it provoked the extensive expansion of the horizontal reign. The aggressive vegetation bored through great lengths in the land near by, roots engulfing all moisture and mineral alike its wake. Devon could stand and wait for a third, and possibly devastating blow, harm the system before it could 'bloom.' Snatching the now knitted stones around his chest, the man climbed the dusty sides of the pit, bringing himself in the entangling threads.

It read his plan silently, recoiling back in the buffer it placed. Devon tore past the white tendrils as the softer side of the tree broke apart for him. Glancing at the battlefield, he dashed out from his burrow, snapping a sapling in front of him as he turned about face the nearest incoming sound. The vegetation stealthily sprouted numerous tiny saplings across the arena, each bearing several small black leaves giving off electrical sparks.

What is a God to a non-believer?

Red grinned when he saw the God's arrival, noting the standard theatrics when one "graced" the world with a physical form. Theatrics, that's all they were. The funny thing was, that in all Coolpikaaa's time in existence, he had actually met a few of these so called "Gods". Paranesia, Articus, a few more that hid in shroud. The funny thing was when you meet these beings every day, they lose a lot of their mysticism. They become people.

People have weaknesses.

The idea felt sweet on the Dragon's tongue. He could see all the players on the board, and how, in numerous ways, he could destroy them. The Collector hadn't changed his spirit. He was a scientist, a planner at heart. She had just given him more physical means to his ends.

First, the other dragon. It's black and gold frame far exceeded even Red, which was a feat in itself. It could beat him, with time and luck. This Dragom was not his concern at the moment. Red could see it was a pawn, sent to be a hazard on stage they would have to work around. It would deal damage to anyone unallied that got too close. Despite the dragon flying right at him, Red felt he could survive the blows long enough for fruit to bear.

Next was the machine. The lightning Dragon's most recent attacks had left it mangled on the floor. It meant the Artificial life could be destroyed, with effort. Perhaps most interesting was something Red hadn't expected, which was exposing at least half the population to an agent of some purpose. He could theorize, based on the physical changes that effected the bipedal farm stock that used to be people, it was some sort of mechanical virus designed for assimilation. The sheeple took on far more tactical forms, and decended into the ring to fight for their new master. What was troubling, was the idea Red could have been exposed. The Collector would be immune, but if he started to feel any effects, it could perhaps ruin the plan. Currently, Red counted on his mythological immune system to fight off a possible infection until they could win this fight.

The Collector traded blows with the God, evenly matched in intense combat. The old man hid in a tree. The robot surrounded himself in a cocoon of his new thralls to repair...

... and there she was. The final piece. The answer to just how immortal an "Immortal" was.

Glaze, the ice Dragon had been summoned into battle. The gold and black knight of the Psycho gave chase as predicted, though she at first targeted the jeweller. That was fine. Everything could still work according to plan.

"Glaze! Ignore them and freeze the God!" Red commanded. It was a simple sentence, but one with so many little mechanizations and time behind it. As Coolpikaaa, Red had spent a lot of time in the company of a certain spirit of Electricity. A lot of time with immortal beings. When you spend a lot of time with someone, they become just another person.

People have wea-

"RAAARGGH!" Red bellowed, turning and blowing forth the greatest cloud of condensed thunderstorm he had ever created at the ball of slaves Artificer had amassed. Though now most of them had mechanical implants, they all most certainly still had flesh. The dragon's breath attack, with all the lightning condensed tightly between molecules, had proven to be extremely successful at turning flesh to ash in the most painful way possible.

Glaze could stop the God dead in his tracks. Red could incinerate the mechanical beings. The Collector would make short work of the man.

They would win.

Glaze

The blue ice Dragon looked to the big lightning Dragon when Red commanded her to ignore them and freeze the God, just a glance before she tilted her body and slightly opened her wings enough to turn her headlong rush into a circle around. The huge black and gold Dragon could wait, although she'd likely pass rather close to Shalim as she turned.

Glaze had access to Fades memories and knew exactly who Red was speaking of after she'd scanned from above, she'd seen the God of Insanity fighting The Colector from up there but had figured on getting rid of the crowd first. As Glaze, however, the ice Dragon trusted Red and knew that if he asked her to do something she she should probably do it, there was likely a very good reason for it.

So Glaze began her turning, her eyes now firmly fixed on The Dark Psycho, and if she managed to reverse her course unimpeded she'd make a beeline straight for the God, freezing breath at the ready.

Psycho

Back and forth they traded blows. DP was connecting on hits, but no matter what it never seemed to be enough. He needed a decisive blow, but with the Collector having the edge on agility, it was unlikely. If he could get away - just for a few moments, he could shift forms into something to match her agility. Then it'd just be down to who was the better duelist, and so far that had proven to be him. Maybe then she could reveal the brush to he could make his move.

The collector struck with her hand, which managed to connect with his right shoulder. It hurt - but not the ever-distracting pain mortals felt. This was just information - this telling him that there was damage to what was his arm and shoulder. It was meaning less, though he'd be a bit weaker on that side until he could reform. He had to either cause her to back off or run away. One of those options was simply ungodly. So he thrust forward with a burst of slashes and jabs, trying to force the Collector to back off.

============================================================================

Shalim

The dragon could tell that the two dragons were linked and communicating somehow. She hated not being able to be privy to the private conversation - her connection to the Diety of Dimensia usually enabled her to have an open glance at anyone's mind - and mindspeak. But somethign was blocking this. Most infurating.

Then she saw it - the blue one - a frost dragon she guessed - broke off and started diving towards her Master's position. She knew she could not allow him to breath - all may be lost if that happens. She broke forth, hoping her size and strength may provide a speed advantage, and took aim at the blue dragon. As it passed, she lunged, trying to at the least knock it off course, hopefully knock it out of the air. She'd have to deal with the red one soon - that was obviously the brains, but she must deal with the immediate threat first.
