I watched the first episode as an experiment, to see if I could work out what all the damn "bronie" fuss was all about.

It's not... terrible. I guess. I wouldn't mind my sisters watching it I guess. I just don't see how it's the cartoon genius it's made out to be personally. :/

The book is indeed a wacky ride. Also kind of nightmarish, and the two protagonist's perspectives on things are. . .strange.
