Happy Halloween! I wore no costume, sadly.

I went trick or treating for the first time ever. It was fun, and I got to scare the living daylights out of people with my zombie act! XD

Break out the worlds smallest violin, and I shall tell all.

So yea, for 18 and a half years I've lived in the back end of nowhere. We lived outside Soulbury. Not IN the tiny village, but outside it! Because of this many things have been denied to me until recently; popping down the shops to get some milk if we ran low (rather than waiting until the that months food shop. God bless delivery!), having friends over to visit without a months notice (and that's only a slight exaggeration), as well as trick or treating. Nobody came to us, and I had nowhere to go to, or anyone to go with.

So yea, my girlfriend took me out this year and we went around the houses now that I live in a suburban area! It was fun. :D

Couldn't possibly guess... errrm, was it that new game everyone's going on about? Rimsky or something? :P

What? How!d you get that in one go?

*Peers at Borg*

Are you a mind reader? :O.

And yep, you're (obviously) right! We've got Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim on the brand new PC. Took quite a while to download too, and it looks more amazing than I imagined.

So, I'm guessing you have it too then? :P

I have it, at least! I've been playing it on my PC for at least two days straight. C: The adventures of Viiskari, Dark Elf Storm Magi Elite have been going pretty awesomely.

I don't have Skyrim actually, I spent all my money on new Necrons! They look really- FLESHED ONES, FEAR US FOR OUR NUMBER IS LEGION AND OUR NAME IS DEATH -AHH, sorry about that. Stupid machines got mindshackle scarabs on me, they're a real pain. :P

Besides, I now have Minerim! Is that a mod you say? Why no, it's Notch letting his excitement for Skyrim bleed into Minecraft. In a bad way. Maybe I wouldn't be so miffed off if the ending he decided to throw in was actually good. Or well written at least.

Tav: Wow, is that what you called your character? :O. That's a right mouthful! So., kill any dragons yet? ;).

To be honest I've only been watching my bf play it so far-and find small tweaks that make it look even better than it does as default, which really make a big difference. But he keeps asking me for advice on things in the game, which is fairly amusing since my experience of the game so far is watching him play XD.

Borg: Mindshackle scarabs huh? Shouldn't you make sure they don't get on you again before the larger ones come calling? :P.

Joking aside, sounds like you're having fun! Though maybe not on the 'Minerim' thing. Is it really that bad? :O

It's very notable that Notch started adding dragons and more of the RPG elements with more haste during the run up to Skyrim being released. I knew RPG elements were gonna be a part of the game, and that's fine. But the fact that it was kinda ho hum for a while, then suddenly "SKYRIM!!!", and potions and whatnot are worked on faster, and the dragons he promised the community a long time ago finally make an appearance.

Ah well, at least new features are in. I just wish Notch would stop making stupid jokes and get on with fixing bugs. It's not that he's not funny (Minecraft itself can often prove that), it's just that satire apparently isn't his thing. :P

Hm, well, I'd say maybe it inspired him to get to work on it, but, from the sounds of it, it didn!t just do that it made him rush it too. Which never really turns out well :S

Game play wise, it's great so far. But it now has a boss (the dragon), and when you beat it you get 8 MINUTES of poorly written, mostly nonsense text that was supposed to be a joke about how loads of games have melodramatic endings. Here they are by the way, if you're interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dd5sUfTLhCU&feature=channel_video_title

Good lord... at least you get to keep playing afterward! And you can change the text, so if you fancy file digging you can shorten it and hopefully make it go away faster :P

Ah, I'm afraid I'm on my 2 and a half G phone via mobile network whilst on the tram back home from work so I'll have to look at that later.... and I'll probably disappear in about 15 minutes time too.

Though... this one's not going to make me go into another homicidal rage is it? If so, I think I might avoid it ;).

Least you can make it go away quicker though!.
