So yea, I believe I'm right in thinking that most of us have minecraft now. What do you guys think of having a multiplayer game together sometime would sound? My PC is more than capable of hosting the game so the only issue is organising a time.

Basically my preferences for hosting are the weekend and during the evening weekdays, but obviously whatever works for people will be fine. What do you guys think?

Oooh, I'd like to play it with you guys, definitely ^_^. Although I can only do Sundays from around 8 am-1:30 pm and pretty much never weeknights (though that should hopefully change soon), but I can do stupidly early mornings weekdays up to around two in the afternoon.

Another point that occurs to me, would voice chat be a thing people would want? I'm sure I could look into that.

Hmm, voice chat, well, let's see... we've got two headsets and a standalone mic so I don't think it'd be a problem for me, at least as far as equipment goes anyway.

I'm having a look at Ventrillo, since I know from experience it's pretty good. I'll keep you guys updated.

EDIT: Well that was quick, seems I can host a chat no problem. I'll need people to test this out with in the future however.

Double post of horror!

To people still joining in with this, or yet to decide, I kinda feel like making a semi adventure map. What I mean is that it's a map that you can play survival on or whatever as normal, but it'll have a sort of story to uncover as well if you so choose. Would people actually be interested in that, or am I better off spending my free time doing other things? :P

Hijacking thread In 3... 2...

Hi guys, I'm posting here, cause this thread seems to be more or less the hub of Minecraft players on Pax, so i can reach you all rather quickly.

I've just found out about a MASSIVE project called You are Minecraft, a huge undertaking to thank the creators of Minecraft, in a very Minecraftian way.

The project aims to have players fill up a server of mannequin like statues by building their own avatar in it's place and It's Huge.

So, check it out if you have some spare time, to say thanks to Mojang for this awesome game.
