This is awesome XD http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=qgvUuhw7sxI

But seriously, Reply Girls are a major problem. They spam the related videos and make money leeching off talented people whilst muscling out smaller channels like mine into obscurity. Youtube seem to have been listening though and appear to be trying to do something about them! :D

Why they gave some of them partnerships in the first place however...

Actually, when I have issues sleeping, listening to music as I lie down really helps. Luckily for me, though, I haven't had issues sleeping for the past few months.

I listen to music when I sleep too, it's very relaxing. It's great to hear you've not been having sleeping issues though! I had a mild case of insomnia a while ago (stress related thing I think), it wasn't nice.

Games and Gamestations here are finally closing down. Absolutely sucks that so many people are losing their jobs. Honestly, at first I was very surprised it was happening at all, but now that I think about it they spread themselves way too thin. You don't need three stores within a few minutes walking distance from each other! :P

And now retail gaming is in the hands of independent shops (which drop like flies in my area), and supermarkets (who rarely stock new PC games, usually classics like Grass Simulator 2012 and Coronation Street, Mystery Of The Missing Hot Pot Recipe. That last one is real, I kid you not! See?). Whilst I firmly believe that moving towards digital downloads is a great thing because if there are no physical copies to produce they have NO excuse to keep the prices so high for downloads, but I understand that this isn't practical for a lot of people at the moment, especially in the UK.

As I understand it GAME bought GameStation in a fit of greed and then wondered why people weren't visiting GameStation so much anymore when they made all the staff into cash zombies, put all the prices up to the same as the GAME stores anyway and started offering worse prices for trade-ins. And there were two GAMEs within walking distance of each other in Notts anyway, before the takeover, with GameStation smack in the middle. This kind of thing is why people should be wary of greed.

At least we've still got Playtime and CEX I suppose. I refuse to 'casually' buy games at the supermarkets because I know what they're really up to (the supermarkets that is) and there's no way I'm supporting profiteering over quality. Ever.

I'm currently taking a break from Flash, since I don't like the way it limits using data that isn't written right into the code, and I wasn't sure what kind of game I wanted to make, so I listed some ideas. I don't need you to use the poll, but it'd be nice if I could hear your thoughts on which one sounds best.

I like your first person spooky times idea MDude, mainly because it's original and there's only one game I can recall being similar ^_^

I friggin' love the parasite idea personally, I can't think of any games that have done something like that.

In other news, if people care, I've finally started applying to various job agencies around my area (8 of them). Hopefully I'll get work soon, maybe even in a design area!

I'm liking that idea too, but I might go for one of the 2D games first so I don't need to work on 3D stuff just yet. I have an idea of what kind of characters I'd want for the upgrading strategy game, and I think if I made the adventure game, I might adapt the Limpet Lops stuff I made. Speaking of which, I think a ruined the flash drive that stuff was on, so it's a good thing I uploaded a good chunk of it.

Borg, it that facial hair on your avatar new, or did I not notice it before?

It's been that way since around late January. It's a fairly accurate representation, as in I don't really have a beard than I do fluff. :P it'll get there eventually! XD

Oh good, I didn't mention that before because I thought I was seeing things XD.

Also... We have SWTOR now. Don't think I'll be playing it just yet though, too many games in line to be finished ;).

Also, I've been working on a dance routine for a 'Heroes and Villains' night, should be fun ^_^

I'm very slowly cranking out a SWTOR video now that you mention it. Although right now I'm doing work experience with my step dad delivering books and so I'm in a constant state of exhausted when not doing so. :P But yea, you may enjoy it when it comes out.
