When Bad Guys Go Mad

Raven frowned but raised herself from the ground. Her lips were pressed into a thin line, showing her agitation at her inability to speak anything other than nonsense. With a sigh, she nodded her head and smiled lightly in greeting to Angel, gesturing for her to follow her as she trailed after Swix and CoolPikaaa.

Though her mind was clouded, her pride would not allow herself to speak. A scowl formed and quickly deepened on her face. She would not make a fool of herself.

Her eyes darted around the tunnel, trying to map out every detail through her mind. She didn't trust herself to notice anything amiss in her state. She had to be consciously aware of everything, just in case.

In Raven's experience, caution her best friend. Now if only she'd been more cautious of those blasted people that had infected her. She was going to kill whoever started this disease. It didn't seem natural, and if it was... well she'd just incinerate its source.

A growl rumbled in her throat, but she slammed down on her anger. It would make her less rational at the moment. Her mind was already incapacitated as it was.

So instead, she simply walked onwards into the tunnel in hopes of a cure.

Swix moved further into the cave, as she did so the underground passageways gradually getting warmer, leading them to a place where the tunnel turned sharply to the left, and there was an orange glow on the wall ahead.
Upon turning into it the passageway opened up to almost twice it's size, and on the right side of that there was a stream of lava bubbling gently as it flowed down the side of the path they were looking at. It was aruificial, as it flowed along many other passages that were branching off what looked to be the main path that they were now walking along. There were pathways that led off without the benefit of the lava, and what appeared to be... polished black rocks stuck in the walls? That and a rhythmic rumble that echoed around the maze... what was that?
