EGG-stra Ordinary Circumstances

((Thank CP for prodding me into this one XD))

In Pax, a festival was brought over by many of the other dimensions that the people who had been pulled into that realm had celebrated at home. It was a festival of springtime, or of fertililty, of new food or of particular religious significance to certain of the people. Any way you looked at it, it was a lot of fun. This Easter, there were lots of treats around, people giving and recieving gifts of things such as chocolate eggs and bunnies, and nest of chocolate that had sugary chicks within them.

Inside the Encampments bustling markets new stalls were set up, seasonal ones to deal with this particular festival as merchants smelled opportunities. It was colourful, almost blissful.

And it wasn't all that it seemed.

((Have fun))

The electric mouse Coolpikaaa wandered the marketplace, investigating all the various candies. There was flat, around a foot long solid lengths of chocolate, with a raised surface so it looked like a profile of a chick or rabbit, or in some rare cases a coiled dragon. In boxes with clear tops a ways down, full size bunnies sat still, and hollow, waiting to be sold. It was honestly nearly too much chocolate, though there was the odd sprinkling of a couple jellies. Cp wondered where it had all come from, as no master chocolate makers living in the town came to mind.

Ultimately, It didn't really matter, as everyone was having fun. Cp himself had even pulled two white socks over his ears to better suit up for the holiday, and was having fun with the kids asking if he was the easter bunny.

He had to tell them no, but assure them he was on his way. Someone out there surely had to be able to dress up better, right?

Sure enough, Coolpikaaa, some things fit the bill. The muffled hops of a bunny hoard intersected the Pikachu's path: all appearing regular in size, though odd features such antlers and duck bills were sporadically thrown into the pile. Crafty little bunnies. A woven basket full of grass strips piled the front paws of each bunny.

Oddly, the bunnies themselves procured strange objects off the ground, depositing them in their baskets as they journeyed. One such bunny leaped above it's fellow rodent, stealing a sock from Cp's ear. It melted back into its family as the stampede kept moving north.

Cp was nearly knocked over as a horde of rabbits appeared from all corners, all seemingly toting a small Easter basket. At least... some of them were rabbits. A few seemed quite mutated, appearing with antlers and bills, and all of them were...

"Theives!" The electric mouse shouted when one of the gang hopped right over his head and took a sock. The article of clothing really wasn't that important, but deducing they might just be stealing other things, the little hero whirled suddenly and blasted the group with a shock of electricity. He couldn't see which one exactly had taken his sock... but hoped he had incapacitated a good amount that he might be able to recover some valuables.

It went a little too well done. Several of the bunnies were to scorched to the ground, inciting the blubbering of a many bouncy youth. Cp would find numerous of adults glaring at the electric rodent for destroying defenseless bunny rabbits. For shame. Fortunately, this singled the true thief of his out of the group. Who, went from a massive herd to a mere individual, leaped to the roof tops, clinging the sock in its mouth tightly.

Cp checked on the theiving rabbits, stepping between them. They would be fine, if a little twitchy. Luckily for Coolpikaaa, the rabbit who had wronged him had been flushed out.

Unluckily, it seemingly had the ability to jump tall buildings in a single bound.

"Wha..." Gasped the mouse, pausing for a minute to stare. Something was definitely suspicious here. Why did they need a sock? Why were they mutated? Where did it come from?

He followed, racing along the ground.

If the rabbit could ever understand those it stole from, merriment would be forever bountiful to the hare. Unfortunately for Coolpikaaa. From roof to roof, its steadily sprint seemed to go without wane as it barely kept ahead of the persistent Pikachu. The puffball curved through a small bend scrunched by two large apartment complexes. Still enough room for Cp, the it snipped a close-line hanging above with its horns, the rabbit driving straight to a marble house ahead.

As the rabbit and mouse ran they'd eventually come across a very large, bipedal white rabbit that was about 6 foot tall, half skipping across the street holding two baskets. One was full of chocolate eggs covered in a sugary skin, complete with baby bunnies and sugary chicks. The other held two large chocolate chickens, a rooster and a hen.

"Whoa there speedy! " he said as CP went barrelling past "wouldn't want to spoil the surprise yet would we?"

Coolpikaaa slammed to a stop, about to smash into what had the be the world's tallest rabbit. Coming to a complete standstill from a very high speed tripped the little mouse up and sent him rolling into the rabbit person's oversized feet.

"Ygh..." He said intellegently, covered in dust. Once he had blinked a few times and stared at the rabbit, he tried again. "Who... are you? What surprise?"

"Wait, is that rabbit theif I was chasing with you?"

As if to answer Cp, the other rabbit continued its beat of hips and hops, reaching over to the marble house. Leaving behind the two larger rodents at the bend.

"Why, I'm the Estre Bunny of course! The surprise will come very soon, don't you worry! And it will be wonderful. Here, have a baby bunny"

The Estate Bunny said, taking a treat from the basket and dropping it on CP. "I don't know about any rabbit thieves but they should come get their treat too. Before the fun starts"

The Estre Bunny started moving away.

"E-stare? Err... Easter? You're the actual Easter bunny? Like the real lengendary one?" Cp asked, having some trouble believing it. Usually it was someone in a suit, and this... Seemed very authentic. "What's your surprise? Err... and uhm... thanks!"

The bunny had given him a... well... bunny. The treat was nearly full size to scale, and he had trouble carrying the whole thing.

"Of course, that's me, the real authentic legendary Bunny, here for the holidays to give out treat. Have fun with yours, I have t give these to a few more people. And it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you what it was, now would it? Some people are so curious, even when curiousity might lead them to answers they don't want"

The Estre Bunny walked off again, dropping the contents of his basket on nearly everyone he saw-often without even talking to them. The rabbit that CP was carrying almost seemed to twitch... or was it just his imagination?

"Why... would the answers not be something we want? Am... I not supposed to eat this?" Cp eventually asked, looking around for the thief rabbit. It was sadly probably long gone.

"Oh, don't let me stop you from trying" The giant rabbit answered, then in a singsong voice started counting down from ten "Ten... Nine... Eight... Seven... Six"
