((Jent kicks away the clunky asterisks out his posting style.))

"Jent, I'm gonna need you to evac terrified civilians, then run backup with me on this. I know I'm gonna need it."

Enacting on the request, Jent reached into the sides of his pockets. Through a flawless throw, several automaton summons seared in the ground. Protruding tusks, alarmed trunks, all billowed outwards; a deafening horn as the wart-phants charged. Their fearsome visage frightening the lesser, and bulk force herding the valorous off as they cleared the commoners away from the battle scene.

"Now... greed was it?"

The Jentil pondered at the thought, eyes slipped shut whilst the two combatants engaged in a tussle. Seemingly indifferent to Coolpikaaa's agenda, such idleness if noticed might question the man's merit, if for not the inhuman speed. ~Shall we dance?~

At the dawn of an open eye, Jent scorched the resting patch of dirt by his dash, leading with the blackened earth trail straight to the Collector. His reappearance beside C churned an amass of dirt into the surrounding air. His left eye bulldozed inside the particle collective, a fierce fist righted itself at the evil entity, armed with a stored Distortion Wave.

"A hat? Surely you could think of something other than a hat to do with my pelt. That's so cliche."

Coolpikaaa was unsure about what The Collector was doing now, as she had stopped her snake head to simply stare at him. The electric bolt had seemingly hit her hard, and CP was relieved by the break in combat.

He paused for a moment, watching her tail for signs of life after she slammed it into the ground. Jent was now involved, and that was one more relief. He could hop back into the fray once he caught his breath.

((I made it complicated again? Sorry about that. A short gist is...
1. Summoned random hybrids to move civilians, courtesy of Clay Molder before hand
2. Charges up
3. Runs quickly to C
4. Such speed creates a dust cloud when he stopped
5. Then he attacks with a Distortion Wave

((It's the thing about your left eye bulldozing into particle collectives and the scorched earth leading to C . I thought you were trying to attack her with your eye or some burnt soil or both. But, that list makes it a bit clearer. Thanks.

Lol, I got what you're up to CP XD))

"I never said what I was going to do with the rest of you... besides, I like cliché" the entity answered CP back, the snake head the thing talking to him this time. There was a rumbling sound in the ground and the end of C's tail showed itself, aiming for the resting rodent.

There was a big problem with sending a currently attached part of yourself underground however, and that was that in doing so she'd effectively rooted herself to the spot. She'd also dismissed Jent since he'd been told to go help other people, and that turned out to be a mistake too as he was next to her in an instant, kicking up cloud of blinding dust and sending a punch towards her head.

Jent succeeded in doing what CP had intended in that attack-The Collectors head exploded, sending the substance she was made out of flying in all directions as the Distortion Wave completely disrupted her concentration. Half her body 'melted' before she could come back from that, and then she didn't even bother to reform herself properly.

"What the hell was that?" her voice spoke despite the lack of a mouth. One of the still standing legs kicked out at Jent, attempting to grab or maim one of his.

((That's what I get for being too creative with words, only ends in confusion :p ))

With Jent's eye still in its 'hyper mode,' tipped off the Collector's counter attack. He noodled his targeted leg, shrinking a writhing it in the air to avoid any grapple maneuvers from the darkness. Then the limb expanded outwards to change his center of gravity, causing the cartoonish man to stumble downwind from her, incurring a few bounces as a result.

"C, this is MY power," the Jentil replied back.

Jent tuned his spatial arrangement into place, the remaining arm becoming delusional, waving in visibility from the built of energy inside it. ~Cp, got any more moves to follow up with?~ He mindspeaked to Coolpikaa, his eyes reverting to their normal binocular vision.

"What the heck was- ARRRGGHH!" Cp shouted, at the exact same time The Collector did. Jent's disruption wave was very... unique, to put into words. He didn't have long to try and describe it though. The Collector's spiked tail burst forward out of the ground and nearly impaled the electric mouse if he hadn't been expecting such an attack. Luckily he fell under the upward spike and immediately rolled away.

"The rest of me?" He asked, pushing himself up to stare at the damaged, melted body of The Collector. They almost had a chance at hurting her here.

"I... think I might have something Jent. But... take cover." He warned, charging. The sky clouded over, becoming a violent thunderstorm. Bolts of lightning began raining down endlessly and randomly, turning the area into a deathtrap.

The leg grapple for Jent missed, somehow, even though he was so close he'd managed to both predict and avoid even getting slightly scratched by the claws. The same leg simply resumed where it had been standing before as C's snake hand was reeled back to where her half melted body was.."Is that so? How very interesting Jent. Allow me to show you a bigger portion of mine!"

The sky darkened due to CP's newest attack, the air charged with electricity as bolts thundered down from above them. The tail she'd been using to attack CP receded as well, from him at least, though it stayed in the ground.

"Such an impressive display from the pair of you deserves payback!" a randomly striking thunderbolt from the storm hit the ground in an unintended cliché, and the substance that had been blasted away from C's body started moving back to reshape her.

In the air, the sky got even darker. Not from the storm, but from a large flock of crows. Corrupted birds that had been exposed to the taint around her gateway that had bred, infected by a part of C herself, and formed this. The birds collected above them and then dived, controlled by the entity intent on attacking the pair.

"Ooohho, Kay..." CP gasped as the sky went black with a countless amount of tainted birds. The Collector's influence, he was aware, could mutate animals into a design she prefered. He wasn't aware that she could control them afterward however.

"Birds? In a thunderstorm?" He asked The Collector, not really sure what she was thinking beyond this show of theatrics. Several were going to be fried just trying to get at them. Sure enough, the birds divebombed, crowding, clawing and pecking at CP. He seemed to be doing quite well targeting handfulls with electric bolts, but there were so many, and so much movement he didn't even see if any were falling.

If The Collector was trying to eventually give CP a death by a thousand cuts, she probably could succeed this way. The other bonus was he couldn't exactly see her in all the swirling black.

"Trying to reform, C? Why not just do us a favor and turn into a balloon we can burst or something tiny to step on. That could be fun." He shot, blasting birds with electricity.

"So many winged pests," Jent grumbled as he dodged a swarm above his head. The sheer amount of controlled ravens clouded the area around the two, nearly suffocating in the mass. It just meant he needed to start clearing the sky.

Redirecting the stored power to his entire body, the man went on a rampage. Furious fists slammed into the startled fowl. Scratches and nips in turn drew droplets of blood or bruises from the overwhelming crowd. Jent hoped his fellow rodent had a better plan as he took on front assault for him.

The murder of crows spiralled around the pair, obscuring both sound with their raucous cawing as well as sight. These relatives of the raven had been twisted, their claws longer and sharper, their beaks slightly more crooked, with serrated 'teeth' at the edges. They'd been made slightly stronger, then wings beat harder, and their eyes were a shade of dark red bar the pupils.

Of course, some crows fell to thunderbolts from the sky CP's blasts, and Jents fists, but they didn't relent. They were driven, and they pressed the attack upon the two.

The Collector was suddenly completely silent. She didn't answer CP's jab at all

~Getting tired of this.~

Both tactics from the duo proved futile at the crow congestion flock, these infected birds possessed a vile fury one might find hard to imagine apart from their own nightmares. Sooner or later, the Collector's minions would surmount through a series of sharp strikes. Neither could survive unless the scales tipped. For the jentil, he held back a couple more tricks to unleash.

~Run Cp.~

Jent contorted his body, twisting limbs to a singular point as he last sight in the dark cloud witnessed several crows spun around him as he vanished. The dazzled creatures, laying on the ground from his teleportation technique, unable to recognize the presence of Jent, par his shout near the trees southward.

"Heya bird-brains! Come get the big kahuna over here, I'm the tasty one!" Various scratches that once battered his skin closed over from the distortion move, having been squeezed together tightly. Yet, places with slivers nicked off bestow a beating scab, requiring time to truly heal. He bit down on his lip. Despite the pain gnawing at him, he knew that concentration was key at defeating this murder of crows, through one word. Encapsulating his neck up by a distorted arm, thinking on the one word, he prepared himself for the counter against the Collector.

'Heh'

Says the voice, from every crow in the murder

'Big kahuna indeed'

They do go after Jent, quite a large amount of them in fact, but it sure as hell doesn't mean that CP's off the hook for the crows still attack and swirl around him. Or... no, they're not attacking him anymore. Nope, they're attempting to grab and fly off with him in their claws.

Of course, these birds are nightmarish in form and fury, they were twisted by Evil Itself, they couldn't possibly be anything less.

Hearing a multitude of birds speak with the Collector's voice at once was deeply unsettling.

The electric mouse kept fighting the seemingly losing battle against the murder of birds. His electric attacks only seemed to push them away, and even that was merely an educated guess as so many surrounded him it was impossible to see for certain. Cp had long since lost track of Jent in the swirling feathers, even with keeping his eyes open as long as possible. That in itself was a chore, as every single of these birds seemed to want to pluck them out.

The mouse kept punching and sparking as best he could, as more and more crows engulfed him. He soon realized that oddly, they were no longer hurting him, just gripping him, pulling him. He opened his eyes to see that the crows were still flapping, though instead of at him, they seemed to be aiming for something else. A minute later, the wings left a crack in the feathered darkness big enough to see Coolpikaaa was now high above the treetops.

Oh boy....

"Okay C... Now you've gotta tell me. Where are we flying Crow Air to? A beautiful vacation destination?"

He waited, uncomfortable.

"I mean... surely there has to be something better than crows to transport through the air. Couldn't you just reshape yourself into a fighter jet? Or balloons! Yeah, balloons with strings tied all over. Now THAT'S a way to fly..."

The longer he could keep THe Collector focused on a trivial conversation, the longer Coolpikaaa had to try and figure out exactly how to get down from here.
