Wished I could use my mirror, he mused. Rising back up, Jent flexed out his limbs as he readied himself on his journey. "Alright, I'll see you there. Just don't be slow about it."
Starting off with brisk pace, the man leaped forward as he swirled to a single point, blinking out of existence.

"Well that's reassuring." Markus remarked, not sounding remotely assured. He turned to the two remaining travellers.
"I guess that's my cue to leave. Will either of you be joining me?"

"I will " Fade replied to Markus, watery grey eyes looking over to The Encampment behind him, then directly at him. "As we will both be heading there anyway, I would much rather be in company than face an unknown alone. Coming along with serve more than one purpose"

"More the merrier!" announced Mayra cheerfully. "What's this pistol you're going on about?"
Campire Stories
"I'll explain on the way" Markus answered rather hurriedly.
And with that Markus began the journey to the Encampment, keeping the pace as fast as he could manage. He had a bad feeling about what lay waiting for him...
((Captain, if you've not already feel free to read back a couple of pages to where Markus gives his explanation of the pistol, saves me typing it all out again.
Markus will re-appear shorty, in "Smeared Reality"))

((Too late now, but it's not unfair to assume she has the same information now given Markus would happily explain on the way.))

The sun was setting when Markus arrived in a clearing to the side of the road. There was little to say about the clearing, but immediately he noticed a ring of stones containing the ashes of a long dead fire, and the long-rotted tatters of an old tent.
"Oh yes" He thought to himself, almost amused. "I never did retrieve that."
Markus brushed aside the various plants and detritus that had built up around the old fire. Looking closer, he could still very faintly make out a few footprints left by the last visitors to this place, himself being one of them. He retrieved a flint and steel from his travel pack and set about starting a nice warm fire. Just as the flames began to crackle, Markus could start to hear the faint sounds of footsteps. Someone was running toward the camp.
"Took your time didn't you?" Markus said with a small smile.
A faintly worn out woman followed. She was dressed in a well used travelling coat, underneath a light set of combat armour could be seen, much more modern than the leather armour Markus donned. A pistol was holstered by her side and a sword hung from the other. Her black hair was tied up in a bun, and her face was set in a scowl.
"You left me to deal with the bandit, funnily enough that held me up somewhat." She scowled.
Markus supressed a chuckle. "Come now, it's not like he was much of a threat. I mean he was blind drunk for one thing. Really, I expect you to deal with someone like that much quicker these days Lily."
Lily did not look impressed. "He threw a pouch of itching powder at me, it's only just worn off!" the woman snapped.
"Well look at the bright side" Markus said. "I was able to start a nice warm fire whilst you were busy."
"Oh sod off Markus" Lily growled "What I need is a bath. How far away is the Encampment?"
Markus smile faded a little. "About a day's travel from here, if we leave at sunrise we should be there by nightfall."

Thorn had lost track of her time again... How many times had she wandered deep into the forests of Ana and forget to check if the sun was still high up again? Thorn had lost count by now... She really disliked being out after dark due to issues with a certain Evil Alignment, but at the same time the thought of staying out and hunting the predators that came out after dark sounded quite thrilling to her... Sure just staying out, just one... Small night wouldn't hurt much would it? She pondered to herself.
The Floran traversed through the trees quietly until something caught her attention, voices!

Thorn listened quietly, when a small, mischievous thought crept into her mind... And slowly crept down the tree and into the bushes, getting out a small pouch and giggling silently to herself.

Lily was clearing away the old rotten tent in favour of a new one when she stopped.
"What's up?" Markus asked, slowly reaching for his rifle.
Lily was silent for a little while, ever so slowly scanning the surroundings. But there was nothing but trees and vegetation in the surrounding area, and the smoke of the gentle fire.
"Nothing." Lily replied. "Just a bit twitchy I guess."

Nym oozes over to the fire before forming into a humanoid shape just outside the line of sight and walking in. "Hello" she declared cheerfully.

Arisu, after a while...decided to go visit Pax again. To gather more information. To learn more about a specific being she can't help but grow curious about. She prefered to not mention his name...after all, just his name was more than enough to gather information towards herself. Her enemy had eyes, and ears, everywhere she could think of...and so, she needed to try learning about him in a remote place.Far from civilization...just as she thought of that, she noticed the signs of campfire at a distance-humans would take a hour or two to get there. But she was no human.
Disappearing into the darkness, she would re-appear,not too far away from the camping location: she was crouching on top of a tree, hoping the leaves kept her hidden, as she looked down at the people camping, with eyes not too different from a predator's,listening from each of their words...at first, she was afraid.Afraid of them being naive newcomers...but all her worries were proved unfounded, if their words were anything to go with, they were people that were in Pax even before she was. With a grin, she kept listening, hoping to learn more...and to make sure that they're not companions of the person she is currently afraid of.

Thorn remained hidden and waited til the two had calmed down some before slowly crawling her way towards Markus, about to jump up and-
"Hello"
Hearing the familiar, cheerful voice, Thorn paused. "Nym!" It appeared as if a plant suddenly sprang to life as Thorn jumped up off the ground and went over to her gooey friend, dropping the pouch of powder onto the ground. Wow she got distracted easily didn't she?

Arisu was currently lost in her thoughts, spying over the duo on the campfire...so lost that she did not notice Nym, much less the sneaky Floran.

"Nym!"
[/quote]
Jumping in fright, and in shock, many things ran over her mind.
What are the knights doing over here?!
She said, as she ended up falling off her hideout.bouncing on a few branches on the way downwards, she fell down, where Thorn currently was, probably landing on her back.

Markus swung his trusty rifle to bare at the rustling, with Lily following suit with her own weapon. This is not the nice, quiet spot it used to be.
"We ought to think about setting up an inn here" Lily quipped. "we'd certainly get a lot of business, if only they'd show themselves!"
Markus drifted off slightly, and then looked to Lily. "That's not a terrible idea actually-"
Lily snapped her fingers, looking cross. "FOCUS!"
Markus shook his head. "Right" He mumbled, before shouting out to the forest around him. "Just come on out and we an all have a nice relaxing evening, m'kay?"
