The Rediscovery of the Red Forest

Thorn listened to the explanation curiously, tilting her head.

"Unfortunately not all of my crew was as respectful as they should have been... "
"Sssomeone... Broke branch?" Thorn asks, feeling a little concerned over what she heard so far, though then looked to Skathi with a puzzled look. "Floran would not like idea of replicating that either..."

"Inadvisable? ... Very well then," Skathi relented from that line of though. Between uncomfortable reaction the question caused for the 'Teacher' to Thorn's confusion on the matter, she decided it was best to drop it. "So, as my friend over here asked, one of your crew-mates didn't pay attention to the rules on board then?"

"That's correct, an accident caused the Trees protectors and the the trees themselves to feel that they were under attack because of a foolish and disrespectful youngling .." Teacher tilted her head as the largest tree lowered one of its branches "They are offering to show you if you like"

"A mental relay of the event?" Skathi spoke aloud, looking over at the lowered branch towards her and Thorn. The likelihood of this being a ruse of some malicious manner deemed improbable thus far. Even so, I'm no going to be so careless as to not be prepared if something were to occur.

"That would be fine."

Teacher clicks her mandibles in approval and then looks to Thorn

Thorn tilted her head as she listened, and looked to the branch. "Mental relay?" driven by curiosity, and not seeing any harm the trees could cause, went to gently hold onto the branch. "Errr... Isss Floran doing thisss right?" She asked, looking to Teacher with a puzzled look for confirmation.

The alien insectoid clicks her mandibles once more. "That is correct Thorn-Dancer" as Thorn held on, she would feel the red trees connect with her mind. All the myriad whisperings around them suddenly made sense, and an old memory of the trees in this Grove was pushed to the fore. The Floran would soon find herself standing inside a ship, in the midst of the red trees once again and with myriad alien flora surrounding them. The huldre too would find this if she did as Thorn did

Skathi carefully observed the Floran before she herself grabbed ahold of the offered branch, already sensing the mental imagery being directed over to her mind. "So this is the place?" she mused, looking over at Thorn in the ship. She examined the numerous strange flora around her, looking out for the when the 'incident' occurred.
