"GRAAAH!"
The hulking humanoid kept on battering the last elemental barrier as the Knights observed from above. His attention to what would be murmurs under the constant shouting he roared would surely be ignored under his goal of carnage. Unbeknownst to Tartalo, the lone dagger that the Distortionist had jabbed in his arm finally fell from its perch, plummeting straight down to the damp ground with faint trails wisps of grey mist around it.

The Siege
The founder of the Dragon Knights, despite the roaring and bashing, smiled thinly at her two students. "If we were to rain fire breath from here, we would weaken our last barrier more for him... that and our windows are quite small, enough for a human head but not enough to poke a snout through... and there is not room for more than one of us to transform here-and even that would be a squeeze what with our" she pointed to the large unconscious copper Dragoness still taking up about half of the room "guest here. I cannot carry that one via flying, and I will not abandon her. Not after what I did. However... If you still wish to leave then providing aerial support upon the beast once the ice barrier is down will be most appreciated... Sethre... If it does get inside it is possible not even the jungle below will stop it... We need a guard at the stairs to prevent it from coming up here... As you both know the illusion I cast below will allow free transformation space for any of us. I fear that if it were to have wanted to talk to us it would not have approached so aggressively, and that makes me suspect we have the one enemy to thank for this, that Umaele with the golden soul"

The Siege
More than a little insulted at his fellow Dragon Knight's suggestion to evacuate, Sethre held quiet to keep himself from ranting at her. There were still other means of assault he could provide besides a cone of breath of course. Assuming that Saphira decided to stay and fight rather than flee with her tail slithering right behind in quick pursuit...
"It is best to stop the brute from even breaking the last barrier to the tower, given how easily he plowed through the others," he spoke out, glancing at the window's restriction mentioned by Mina. "... My abilities still involve Distortion; I can slip through the opening there and surprise him..."
Ensuring the window was clear of barrier, the determined Dragon Knight would attempt to barrel on through it with his body compressing down in size for ease of access. That is, unless someone instructed him of a better means for his skills.

She would watch Sethre curiously..."Why you don't try to simply jump through the window and shift to dragon-form outside, before you fall down?I...would try, but because of my tail I'm far from being good at jumping." She explained nervously, before moving to any window that was close to her, so she can prepare herself for jumping off the tower as well.
The Siege
"TARTALO SMASH!"
Clamorous as usual, the humanoid monster appeared to progressively tired from the over-exertion done to his body, leaving a steady flow of staggering blows as he chipped at the ice fortification. The sensation only fueled Tartalo's frustration further to maintain the wake of destruction, not wanting to take a break until the tower fell from his might. However, the poison as intended by the maker done its deed very well. The cursed chemicals thickening the ichor within as he began to turn more pale-almost chalky in complexion.
---
~They must be rather trusting of their final barrier.~
The masked stranger calmly examined a dagger identical to the one she implanted on the Cyclops. A subtle between the blades resonated quietly during the distraction, catching the reflection above in the gray gleam of metal held against her gloved hand. Such secrecy deemed more than necessary given abilities of those Knights.
~Oh? ... How interesting... I surely thought she would expect 'Umaele' to provide something than just a battering ram...~
She quietly sheathed the weapon for now, checking back over her shoulder to where the echoes of chaos bellowed out. It wouldn't surprise the woman if more intricate layers of defense dwelt inside the tower. "I know they are smarter than that," she muttered to herself, conditioning joints and ligaments in a warm-up stretch. One that refused to train their body whist engaging in serious pursuits stood less of a chance compared to the person who fully strengthens all that they are; mind, body and soul.
~I imagine you will be waiting up high... Until the time is right?~ Scowling beneath the disguise, she had her own ideas on how to recapture the Copper Dragoness. ~Couldn't you just overwhelm them with what you have know?~
~... That would give too many secrets for any survivors... This is not a true war after all...~

Mina looked to the pair of them. "No. Only one must go. If you both leave then if this intruder does breach the Tower I and our guest will be the only ones left inside. I do not believe just this one being to be the only thing that could possibly threaten us-though what anything else might be, I do not know... Saphira can deal with the cyclops, Sethre, you can help defend the internals of the Tower should we need it"

The Siege
((Thread closed due to lack of activity. Epilogue to be written shortly))
A disaster, that's what this had turned out to be. A complete and utter disaster, that's what this had ended up being. The barrier had failed, brave Sethre had been holding the cyclops that had penetrated their defences at bay away from the Tower proper. Even so that had not been enough. Mina did not even know what had happened to Saphira after all the fighting had stopped. She might not have even been in a fight and scarpered for all she knew.
However, the ability to look was currently beyond the young leader of the Dragon Knights as she lay broken and beaten, torn, bleeding, weary, exhausted and unconscious atop the Towers second floor. The roof had been ripped off by then due to to all the fighting, allowing the Umaele character to escape with ease out to where the teleportation barrier wasn't with the stolen body of Aes that had suddenly, somehow come back to life and fought her too alongside that other, most colourful Dragon.
It was a terrible end to an even worse day.
