Athena smiled widely, showing off her slight overbite. "Let's find out."

They set out to start their quest. Walking straight forward, they looked around to find a glimpse of a pony.

A Flash of light
Trance groaned in annoyance. Where ever he was now, it was definitely in no way what so ever, his bathroom. Randomly teleporting from one place to another was something he just couldn’t get used too. There was something different about it this time though. First of all, when his ship moved him, it usually had some significance to who he was. Second, people were usually in sight. But here, he saw nothing of that kind of nature. He stood up; brushing off his black pants from whatever dirt may have clung to his jeans after he was ever so rudely dropped on his ass.
Once he was sure there was nothing on him, he placed his headphones on top of his head, his hair changing from blue to black and his eyes from gold to brown. Walking around aimlessly, he began to talk to himself.
“Where on earth am I?”

"This way!" Athena said, pointing to where she thought she saw the pony. She picked the little girl up, and started following the pony. Instead of an equine adolescent, she ran into an odd, tall, blue man. "Uhm. Hello. You're not a pony." She said to Trance.

"Mister! Mister! That man has a funny hat on his head! Can I have a funny hat, too?!"

Clearly, Melu's family had not yet managed to teach her that it was impolite to point at other people. With at determined look on her face, Melu reached out her arm and tried snagging the peculiar hat from the new person. By the stars, why did her fingers have to be so short?!

Slowly he turned to look at those who were speaking to him; starting to look quiet confused with his eye brows furrowing, head tilted and his mouth turned into a frown.
“A pony?”He replied, the image of a fat pink plastic toy horse popped into his head. “No, I am not a pon—“
When the child began to reach out to his headphones, he flinched away, a little too quickly. He lost his balance and fell on his ass, yet again.
“O-Ouch..”

Melu wasted no time in squirming out of the cookie mage's grip, really, really curious about the weird hat the other man had on. It didn't really look like it could keep the sun out of your eyes, and it looked like it would be hard to cover in flowers. Still, she was a curious little girl, and wanted to know more about it. She hurried over to the man and tried climbing up his arm to get to the hat.

"Lemme see your weird hat, okay? Please, please, please!!! I will take really, really, really good care of it an' everything!!"

While Melu pestered the unfortunate alien for his headphones, the 'pony' stood and watched. Its eye sockets were empty, and its entire body was black and its white mane and tail were splattered with old, dry blood. Despite its nightmarish appearance, it looked fairly perky. The fellow inside of it, however, was not.

"Hello? Anyone out there?" Motley called out through his yarn pony's prison of a belly.

Athena looked over to the horse, which seemed to be speaking. Ignoring the commotion behind her, she walked up to the nightmarish pony.

"Yeah, I'm right here. My name is Athena."

"A-Ah! Thank goodness! My scarf won't let me g-WOAH!" The pony backed up and whinnied unhappily. When Motley spoke again, it was not his voice at all, but the scarf's. Its voice was like a mixture of a raspy whisper and an eerie breeze.

"Don't worry your pretty little head, he's fine, juuuuust fiiiiiine."

"I don't think he's fine. . .But I'm SO flattered you think I'm pretty!" Athena said, then giggled.

The pony-scarf's lips twisted into a strange, equine smirk. "Yes, in fact... Your eyes are particularly lovely. May I borrow them?"

“No no little girl, these uh, these were a gift! And I uh, really would appreciate it if you didn’t take them.” He was failing to keep her away without being too pushy. Coming off as being cruel was the last thing he wanted to do with a group of new people.

"I just wanna see them! I'm not a little kid! I won't break them!" No was not one of the words Melu found acceptable. Grownups could be so mean sometimes, hogging all the fun toys and not letting her play with them. Her Mama always told her to share, even when they were gifts, anyways. Melu tried looping her hands around the weird hat and pulling it off.

He attempted to move away, but his reactions were too slow. The head phones fell off his head and into the girl’s hands. Suddenly he felt as if he had been going three days without sleep. His face became pale, for he could not keep it to an acceptable human flesh tone without his charger. His eyes looked lighter in color, yet still he appeared as if he was about to throw up.
His forum usually faded within 50 minutes when he was fully charged, but it seemed he had only about 10 minutes left in him. When that ran out, he feared what trouble he may be in.
