So I got into a sword fight this weekend (as I'm want to do these days) and this happened:

Yea, he was really, really sorry though. Far more than needed to be honest, this stuff is gonna happen in a hobby like this. It's partly my fault too, I punched a sword at the end of the day.

To explain, I usually fight with a basket hilt sword, where you can "punch" the attacks away, because your hand is protected. I was using a hand and a half with no protection other than my glove, and thank god I had that glove. It was very fast and there was a lot of pain and blood but we're pretty sure I punched into the attack.
