Shadow of Mordor is absolutely awesome! Especially if you're a fan of the Arkham Batman style of combat and dynamic enemy interaction.

There's no better feeling than hunting down an Orc Captain that you've been trading killing blows with and then finally putting them down for good .

So I got into a sword fight this weekend (as I'm want to do these days) and this happened:



Very likely a split cuticle. It's stopped bleeding now! I think!

At least it wasn't lopped off then! You best lavish your poor finger now, otherwise it will start crying up a storm. XD

I'm guessing the guy below was the assailant, all smug and what not?

Yea, he was really, really sorry though. Far more than needed to be honest, this stuff is gonna happen in a hobby like this. It's partly my fault too, I punched a sword at the end of the day.

To explain, I usually fight with a basket hilt sword, where you can "punch" the attacks away, because your hand is protected. I was using a hand and a half with no protection other than my glove, and thank god I had that glove. It was very fast and there was a lot of pain and blood but we're pretty sure I punched into the attack.
