"HAPLESS?! Hapless my arse! I was attacked out of nowhere, and you have the nerve to call her hapless?!"
Markus was genuinely furious now, his face was even turning red.
"Zap me into an unknown place, send me after some girl, even attack me, but don't you dare accuse me of incapacitating an innocent person!"
Markus was starting to shake on the spot, and was tightly clutching the scarf around his neck.
"I don't care if you let her go, or even welcome her into your little community, but you can f%£$ off if you think I'm showing an inkling of remorse for her situation!"

"Oooh, arguing." Faya said happily, as though talking about puppies. "This is the part when eveyone starts to turn on each other and eventually start a bloodbath. Yay!" Outburst aside, she turned to Athena, still leering. "Oh, I killed lots of trees. I win right?" Her fingers strayed to her butcher knife again - it would seem to another person that she was making a threat, though she probably didn't mean for it to look that way.

Same Bat-Time, Different Bat-Planet!:
The little alien stared up wide eyed at Draconian, not believing what he was hearing. What was wrong? Seriously?!
He stared back at the Wolf then at the others, making a face like he had just been punched in the stomach.
At that point, he turned and followed the Guardian into the snow, shaking his head.

Athena held her staff pointing at Markus. "You're no longer welcome here." She said. "Go find your own food." And then, she cut the woman's bonds. "Welcome." She said to the blue woman. "You should feel free to dine here, if you wish. We have food cooked."
And then she turned to Faya, and raised her voice. "Nice job! You win! Your prize is this; If that man with the crossbow over there takes a -single step- towards camp, you get to slaughter him." She said, smiling.
"You can keep your dagger." she said to the blue-clad woman. "My name is Athena, and welcome to Wherever The Hell We Are."

Ana:
Well well well, now this was an interesting turn of events indeed. Apparently she hadn't needed the plans she had been coming up with, she'd simply had to lay there and play the victim. The 'man with the crossbow' had dug himself into a hole that made the apparent leader of the group so angry she'd banished him from ever coming back. The flaw of emotions was once again on display in front of her, who had dispensed with them at a young age.
The one person here who sensed the danger she posed, had been told to leave.
She didn't gloat, grin or shoot a victory look at him, as others would have done when Athena cut her bonds. Just filed it away as advantageous, and left it at that
She sat up, putting her Sapphire Dagger away in the inside pocket of her jacket, then started rubbing her wrists to stimulate the circulation. She looked up to Athena as she was doing this "You have my gratitude Athena" once more, there was no tone, but it was sufficiently polite "you can call me Fade"
Fade looked around the unfinished camp, clearly they hadn't been here for very long, a couple hours at the most. Or less, as the dragon laughter would indicate. So, her original intention of stalking the merc, asking what on Earth was going on and then leaving hadn't backfired as badly as it would have first appeared.
Her next concern was the damage done to her body. The lump on her head and the other bruises she could do nothing about, but the bolt was another matter. Fade tore off two pieces of blue material from the bottom of her shirt, partially exposing freshly healed scars on her flat stomach, wound one around the bolt, visibly braced herself and pulled the bolt out.
A gasp of pain followed the blood spurt before it was quickly stemmed by the waiting cloth pressed onto it, whilst the second was wound around it to hold it in place-temporary, but it'd do.
Fade pushed herself off the ground with some difficulty, testing her injured leg. She could rest a little weight on it but every bend of the knee caused a fresh tear and trickle of blood. This was going to take a long time to heal. She wasn't going to be much of a threat to anyone for a while now, it seemed.
Well, if you didn't count the poison, poisoned throwing weapons and the as yet unrevealed ally that is. Of course, the only person in danger of any of these was Markus for proving himself a threat to her... But not in public
"I would be..." Honoured? Happy? Pleased? No, they all had too much emotional weight attached to them and honour was a concept she never saw the use of. So, she settled for "grateful, to join you for dinner"
Kata:
Syllak watched the blob follow Guardians trail to the cave with a puzzled look in her red eyes. What had just happened? Shaking off the feeling of weird creepiness he'd elected to leave behind the sivak cleared her throat quite loudly to get the attention of the warmth basking werewolf and immortal "Sorry to interrupt" she called over "but everyone appears to be leaving. Perhaps we should follow their example?"

Markus gave up.
"Fine, enjoy having you throats slit in your sleep." He said matter of factly.
He look at the woman again. He hadn't hated anyone in a while, not truly. She'd only attacked him, but he hated her, what gives? He pushed his thoughts aside and before he turned away he threw his catch to Athena.
"Give this to the girl when she returns. Just make sure it's safe to eat first."
And with that Markus walked away from the camp. It was more than his jobs worth to make sure they stayed alive.
...
Markus wandered though the forest for what seemed like an hour. It was hard to track time without a time piece, and the trees were just thick enough to stop him using the sun. A gentle glow filled the forest, a warm and slightly green glow.
"It could be worse I suppose" He mused to himself "I could be stuck on some barren rock"
The trees were tall and wide, but they looked... new? How could vast trees like this look new? In fact the whole place just felt fresh for want of a better word. It was almost unsettling.
...
As the light began to fade, he stumbled across a clearing in the forest, and to his surprise there appeared to be a settlement. He approached with caution, but made sure he wasn't threatening. No use getting kicked out of another town, even if it was for just reasons this time. When he was a little closer he called out.
"Hello? Anyone there?"

Ana (Camp):
Athena looked at Fade's injuries with concern. "If you want, I could see what I can do about those. I have some magic abilities that might help, although I'm not sure if it'd work right or not. Essentially, you'd be my test subject. But anyways. I can try to heal you, if you wish." She said, eating a few of the berries that Trance had brought.
It might be possible, just maybe, that she could pull the healthy state of the injured parts of the woman's body from the past, and replicate it into the present. It would be difficult, however.
Ana (Psiot Town):
Looming around Markus, the trees seemed to be watching him; there was this presence following him, an unnerving stare from somewhere within the trees.
And then a humanoid figure stepped out of the trees; A copy of Markus himself, but instead of earthy browns, he was wearing a pure white robe, he was clean-shaven, and instead of ragged brown hair, this pseudo-Markus had slicked back black hair.
"Greetings, outsider." Was all the copy said. "We are Psiot."
Kata (Topside):
Finding the cave, Guardian scanned the ground, before punching a small patch of rock, revealing another spring. This one was inside the cave, out of the biting winds.
Now that that was done, Guardian started barreling back, trudging through the snow. With his movement, and the falling snow, he didn't even notice as he stepped over the small blob-creature, barely missing him with the dracon's taloned foot.

Ana:
Fade didn't so much watch as listen to the mercenary, as he gave up his warnings as a lost cause. Interesting how he'd decided she attacked him, appareotly conveniently forgetting her 'lower your weapon and I'll lower mine' sentence. Maybe his anger wasn't allowing him to think straight, or he thought keeping that out would help his case. Either way, it didn't matter as it had worked out in her favour anyway.
"Fine, enjoy having you throats
slit in your sleep."
Although this was something she'd done before, it wouldn't be happening any time soon. Slitting the throats of people who were protecting you at a weak moment would be a particularly stupid thing to do.
Fade watched his retreating back as he left with cold, calculating eyes. The next time, she'd have a plan. And she'd make certain she didn't misjudge anything.
She turned back to the leader of the camp, her leg oozing slightly at the small movement. Welll, being a !test subject' might not be all that appealing, but she wouldn't turn down help when it was offered. So she nodded. "I would appreciate anything you can do"

Faya was pleased at the thought of actually being given permission to kill something. Normalyl she did it anyway and people just yelled at her. When the funny man left, though, she felt that she ought to follow him... so she did. Just in case he even vaguely considered going back, then she'd know straight away. Besides, she wasn't sure she liked the others. Especially not the little brat with the annoying whistly thing, she was itching to show it some manners.
With a sharp whistle to Waffles, she set off after the mercenary, her claymore sheathed and safe. She wondered where he was going - something about him vaguely reminded her of Kurz Rhodes, but he was in little pieces now so that was okay. Also, this man was clearly nicer. Eventually the sun began to set, and to her interest the plants started glowing green, but she couldn't stop to look at them. Her sensitive ears picked up the sounds of predators beginning to stir, and as fun as it would be to butcher them she really needed a safer place to sleep. So, she was pleased when they finally came to a clearing with little houses in it. And weird people.
((I updated Faya's bio to actually give her a solid backstory now, I had a moment of inspiration and it suddenly came to me
))

Melu sat on the ground, utterly lost. She shouldn't have wandered off. She knew that, but the hopper had seemed so fun. Hop, hop, hop, it had gone, and Melu had taken off after it, her whistle swinging madly from around her neck. It turns out, it was much faster than she had expected. Here she was, now, all alone and in the woods. At least she still had her whistle and bag, though. Feeling lonely, she gave the whistle a soft little blow, watching as an artificial wind rustled the leaves around her.
As she sat there, alone and lonely on the ground, the dampness from the dirt seeping up through her dress, a strange white creature scuttled towards her. It was long and sinuous, its fur short and sleek. With a mighty leap, it pounced on Melu.
"Daisy!" laughed the child, hugging her strange pet tightly. She had wondered where Daisy had gotten off to. He was always running off at the worst moments, like when she wanted to paint on him with black ink. His cape had fallen off somewhere, but Melu did not care. All that mattered now was that she wasn't alone.
"Not alone, not alone, Melu is not alone anymore."

Mimas nodded at the suggestion, getting up and out of the pool before changing into the clothes offered to her.
"Thanks again for the clothes." She said before taking off after the blobby CP.

Triste turned his head slightly upon hearing someone calling. It was Flipside, not that he knew who Flipside even was. He could also hear other voices, voices coming from the camp he was so close to. He tried to respond to the voice that called out for him, but his body decided now would be a splendid time to pass out again.

Flipside stumbled slightly as Triste fainted ahead of her, speeding up as well as she could to reach him.
"Damn it, what do I do?! Wait, wait..." She tried to remember what she could of that one day when they'd been taught first aid, frowning as additional details seemed to drop in as well.
"Check area, check pulse, turn over into recovery position...Nothing here, I guess, so pulse it is for now," she muttered, reaching to see what she could find on his neck.

Markus hadn't noticed Faya due to the sheer bewilderment he felt as he watched a copy of himself walking towards him.
"Errm... okay then."
We are Psiot. It had said 'we'. That meant they were very likely a hive mind creature, or possibly a collective.
"My name is Markus, I've been travelling away from a doomed little settlement for a while and I need shelter for the night, may I stay with you before moving on tomorrow?"

Ana (Psiot Town):
"We Sorry; Our tongue not good yet." The copy said. "Our form is not like yours, So we mask so Human and Psiot become friends" It said slowly, as if trying to puzzle out what it said. "You may stay, and we will help The doomed littles. You live there." It said, pointing to a nearby tree. "And We learn about Humans."
In front of his eyes, the tree twisted and bent itself, splitting at the base, and becoming something not unlike a house.
Ana (Camp):
Placing the tip of the staff on Fade's wound, Athena focused, closing her eyes, biting her lip, and clenching the staff tightly. After grunting for a little while, reality seemed to bend for a moment, before the wound vanished. In fact, it was like it was never hurt. Because, in fact, it wasn't.
"Guhh." Athena said. "I need to go take a nap or. . ." She panted. "Something. . ."
And then she passed out from exertion.
Kata (Topside):
Guardian stopped, and bowed to the lady. "You shall find another pond of warm water at the cave." He said, then continued on his path.

"Thank you, I will intrude as little as possible."
Markus looked behind him to see Faya standing close by.
"...how the heck did you sneak up on me like that? How come you've followed me anyway?"
Markus didn't know much about Faya, but he knew she seemed to like a fight. He'd have to be on his guard. Still.
"Oh Aditha... if only you were here."
