It's not so bad in the UK, I feel really bad for the poor sods (most of them) who have to pay in Euros. They get shafted a LOT on Steam. :(

EDIT: That's one of the very few things I like about Apple, they enforce fair pricing.

Well, I just beat System Shock 2 again, and now I've gotten back into playing and modding Dwarf Fortress, which is always an adventure.

Speaking of Scribblenauts, you may be thinking this game can't possibly live up to it's name.

It's simply not feasible to have an engine that is truly unlimited, that allows you to create whatever is floating around off the top of your head...

And I say...

:D

I love this game.

But... like any situation in which anything can happen, it eventually boils down to one thing.

Who would win in a brutal fight to the death?

Any suggestions for some good old battle royales? :D

Double Post!

For I've gotten FTL as a Christmas present and am loving it! :D.

... Although my first foray into the universe did end up with my entire measly crew of three suffocating to death because I didn't see and put out a fire in the O2 room until too late.

The second time I got blown up by Rebel scum who ambushed me whilst I was desperately looking for a store to repair my horribly damaged ship.

And the third time I ran out of fuel, so was going into the Rebel fleet to pick fights on purpose-which worked until I ran out of the awesome shield bypassing missiles I'd picked up from somewhere... and jumped into an asteroid field with a lurking pirate and damaged shield system.

I'm on the fourth go now, picking up a lot of Mantis crewmembers that were slaves in pirate space. See how far I can get on the ship Storm Petrel XD.

All of these tries were on Easy too!

My favorite way to play FTL is with mostly boarders and drones- teleport on their ship and take out the crewmembers, and if that fails, bring them back and send out the drones.

I do love it. It's brilliant! I've unlocked an Engi ship and a Zoltan cruiser now :D. I've only gotten to the end once.

Do you start off with Engi then Tav?

I've kind of gotten attached to the human ship now. I even have a favourite weapon setup XD.

Trying out the Zoltan ship now.

Actually, I start with the second mantis ship instead. It has four teleporter slots, but the drawback is that it doesn't start out with any weapons. You need to be rather lucky to get weapons early or you're kind of screwed.

I may be picking this up today! It's a Terrarria like game. With sharks. with jet packs. AND LASERS.

Also space dinosaurs.
