((Obviously he was there to extract joy from children in order to make one of his more popular beverages. Why does he need any other reason to be there? :-/ ))
"It's fine, we shan't be gone long. We just need to get some snacks." The Sommelier replied. He wasn't sure why but generally when under the effects of the mellow vapours many of his targets felt overwhelmed by a desire to graze on snack foods. As such, the promise of snacks should be enough to allow him safe passage outside of the cave... although even if it didn't, the Queen of the Night was hardly in any state to stop him. "You just stay here and
relax." He spoke in the same sort of suggestive tone that he did when he asked them to relax a few moments ago, knowing that they would respond positively this time as well.
With that, he left the Cave with Coolpikaaa in his arms, walking briskly. As soon as they left the cave he took off his mask and left it next to the cave entrance - perhaps this would serve as a warning to the more observant wanderer. It is a completely normal face mask, so anybody could wear it if they wished, and if they wished to enter the cave this was probably a wise thing to do. He remembered that Aster, the tiny yet well-armoured soldier (who unfortunately had probably inhaled a substantial amount of mellow vapours by now), mentioned something about a campfire, so perhaps if this place had anything along the lines of a doctor then that might be where they were? The Sommelier was not sure, unfortunately he had only been in this world for less than an hour, and as such he was not exactly familiar with local customs and cultures. He didn't even know where the nearest city was.
"Excuse me, is there a doctor or healer present?" He asked, approaching the campfire. "My friend here does not appear to be feeling so well." Unfortunately it was quite dark, and while he thought he could see figures sitting by the fire he couldn't really make them out.
Ah, of course, how foolish of me. The Sommelier realized - he hadn't taken his reading glasses off since reading those letters, no wonder his eyesight was so poor.
The cool night air would be sobering Coolpikaaa up quite a bit quicker than he would have been in the cave, and the mellow, relaxing feeling that had previously clouded his mind would soon be lifted.
((Who's left sitting by the campfire? Anybody?

))
