After thoroughly investigating the strange hat, Melu looked up at the now pale man, her face scrunched up in confusion.

"What's it do? It's really, really weird! Why are you all pale now?"

Melu made sure that she kept a tight grip on the weird hat, not wanting to break her promise. She was going to prove that she was a big girl by not breaking the funny hat.

“I use it..To keep me..uh .awake. Yeah.. Without my headphones, I get very sleepy. Now may I please have them back?” He put a hand over his stomach, gripping his shirt tightly struggling to keep his form up. It seemed like the minutes were flying by.

"If you start to fall asleep, I will blow my whistle! I want to know how a hat can keep you awake."

The little girl squinted at the strange hat, trying to figure out just how it kept someone awake. Maybe it sang or was really tight or something. What if it had a magical spell on it! That would be neat.

He closed his eyes tightly, falling on his back. His stomach groaned and his hair faded from the dark black into blue, and his eyes from brown to gold. Trances face stayed pale, of course. It was his natural skin tone, but he didn’t look as sick anymore. After a moment of laying down, he sat up, rubbing his head and his stomach.
"God that was awful..."

Looking back, Athena touched the headphones with a tap of her staff, and took a version of the headphones from the future, essentially duplicating it. "Here." She said, handing the pair of headphones to Trance. "Sorry about that."

Tying the hat she had around her head like a scarf, Melu considered what had just happened. It did not take long for her to settle on a plan of action. Beaming, the little girl tilted her head and stared up into the blue man's eyes.

"So....so, is it true that, if I kill you, you will really come back without your memories, mister Deva? Because, Mama always told me that, but I didn't think it seemed like it was true."

He took the head phones from Athena, plugging them in and placing them around his neck. Noticing that they didn’t exactly freak out like he thought they would, he didn’t see any more of a reason to hide. “Thank you.” With a smile, he turned to the girl, then becoming confused.
“well..I wouldn’t know. Deva? My name is Trance. I think you have me confused with another . . .”

Melu sighed a small, dejected sigh. She would never get to see a Deva, would she? Or a pony. Ah well. Sometimes life was just mean, and that was that. At least she got a new hat. Besides, that Mister Trance was really interesting looking. She should try looking like him sometime. Not that she knew what he was yet.

"Mister Trance, here is a cookie for letting me wear one of your noodly hats."

The child held her hand out, a cookie in her palm.

“I uh…well…okay.†He took the cookie and studied it closely. This child was so random, he couldn’t keep up. Shrugging it off, he still attempted to get some answers out of someone.
“Does anyone know where this place is? I think I’m lost.†He turned, addressing the two girls and the creepy pony. He didn’t even bother to wonder where the hell that came from. He just needed to be informed, and then maybe make sense of what was going on.

The pony huffed, shaking its head back and forth. "Haven't the foggiest. Say... That is mighty nice skin you have. And you," It nodded in Melu's direction. "You have fantastic hair. I truly think I must take you all apart." The Scarf-Pony simply said with a wicked grin.

Melu puffed out her cheeks, looking annoyed.

"I am not sharing my skin with a weird hoofy thing. You're just gunna take a nap in red stuff like the other hoofy thing I saw and leave holes in my skin."

Markus was following an Alien on a vast alien ship, which had crashed in the middle of a desert. Behind him where viscous swarm of creatures and god knows what else. The one he was following seemed to be the only friendly one he could find, and damned if he was gonna wander off without it. He wanted the rest of his money. As he wandered down the corridor another blade handed creatures pounced at him, knocking him to the cold metal floor. He didn't react in time, couldn't aim his crossbow properly, couldn't catch his breath. Markus could only watch as the seconds crawled by, and the bladed creature prepared to slam a blade into his gut. As the blade came down, Markus shut his eyes, and hoped it would be quick.

When he opened his eyes, he wasn't on the ship any more. He was in a field, alone and completely not disembowelled. He sat up, and looked around. He seemed to be in some open plains, the only things breaking up the horizon where a few trees, and possibly a forest in the distance. He slowly stood up, crossbow at hand, and listened for... anything. He heard the sounds of people talking, at least he thought he did. Looking to the source of the sound, he saw a few tress and a couple of moving shapes.

"Nothing better to do I guess."

Markus wandered over, still on alert, and carefully approached the people.

"Greetings. I'm Markus. Now lets cut to the chase, where are right now? I don't care if this sounds like a stupid question, I've not been living under a rock or whatever smart arse you might have for me, I just want to know why I was in the middle of the desert about to die, then suddenly appeared wherever I am. And then I want to know which way it is to Psychotopia at the very least."

All of a sudden there was a very big, very bright flash of light, followed by a very unhappy roar as a large, sinewy, black and red dragon was pulled through into this new world.

Furnace wouldn't have minded that, but what he did mind was that his comfortable nap underground had been rudely interrupted by the two things he despised: the unwanted sunlight beating down onto his bright red, fiery eyes and the beautiful surface world. His vision temporarily impaired thanks to the suddenness of it all, the serpentine creature stumbled straight into a tree and proceeded to take out his frustrations on it, causing quite a racket as he tore it apart.

Athena sighed, putting her fingers to her temple. Even thinking about time travel didn't give her a headache, but this did. "Okay. All of you shut up. We need to- WHAT NOW?" She turned to the dragon. "Hey! Gecko-breath! Stop being an idiot!"

Then she turned to Markus. "Welcome. We have no idea where we are, why we're here, and there seems to be no inhabitants in the nearest hundred miles. Now let me see if I can deal with this madhouse."

She walked towards the horse, and said, very calmly, and coldly; "Stop. being. creepy. or. I. will. unmake. you."

((Athena doesn't like noise, and this is quickly turning into a commotion. XDD))

Faya had already been there for a while. Quite a long time, actually, just sitting and enjoying the sun atop a large boulder. It started becoming a bit difficult to sunbathe in peace, however, once two strange people appeared out of nowhere and started making a commotion. Then another person appeared, and another. It was starting to get quite noisy, and Faya liked noise. It meant that interesting things were happening.
Watching the people for a while, a lopsided and slightly vacant smile on her face, Faya considered her best course of action. She could kill them all, but that wouldn't be a very nice thing to do and then it would be quiet. Or she could hoot and throw rocks at them, but then Waffles mgiht chase the rocks and hurt his teeth. So clearly the best thing to do was to walk up to them and shout 'BOO!'.
Still smiling, Faya clambered down off her rock and walked, humming a mindless tune, over to the rowdy crowd. Maybe they would be able to tell her how to get onto the other, more interesting, planet.
Waffles, exasperation showing in his dark eyes, got to his feet, stretched, and then ambled off after his friend. With any luck, she wouldn't get herself into trouble again.
"BOO!"
