Pax RP

Swix grinned as the Floran said she'd punch the Manticore for her, and watched them all leave before sitting down on the chair in the Comms Room and watching them exit out of the HQs hidden door.

Leaning back, the Split closed her eyes and took control of the Exo-Skeleton that had the imprint of her body's reality before she'd gotten pregnant, causing her physical appearance to cover over what the machine had previously looked like. Stretching, the Endo-Skeleton got out of where it had been being kept and strolled briskly over to the Comms Room where Solveig and Rechomi were standing guard in the doorway... While Swix herself was sat down and grinning somewhat.

"Excuse me please" the 'other' Swix told the pair from the doorway "I'd like to get to myself quite quickly thank you"

"W-wait!" A scream echoed from the forest, as Cindra came out of the bushes, panting and sweating slightly, carrying a bag of food.She was currently in her miko outfit, with a katana on her waist.

"G-gueez, when C asks you to do something, she wants it done fast...I-I was trying to prepare for a picnic together or something, so we could share a meal and such." The lady said as she walked closer."But anyways,hi Manty!Hi Dreary!" she said cheerfully, almost as if they were friends...she considered herself to be on rather good terms with C, and the knights as well, so she had the job of the 'middlewoman' on this negotiation."Y-you guys can come out,the agents just want to chat!Or so C told me!T-there is no reason for us all to keep hurting each other, right?" She said...although she was not sure how Shalim, or DP, would react to this turn of events, so she was staying barely outside of the Shalim's range.

As the darkness receded Mayra coughed, and tried to push herself up. Failing, she rolled onto her back as she tried to remember. There was a dragon, then darkness, then pain. Nothing after that, until here. As the strength returned to her limbs, she managed to sit up. She saw a cave. Hearing a voice coming from it, she desperately crawled towards it. By the time she reached the entrance she'd regained her feet.

She gasped and her hand flew to her pistol as she saw the shadows pooling into a form. The liquid shadow reminded her of, of something...

Tom heard out Cindra, then looked at his team.

"This changes nothing. We still go out, we still watch each others back, and if any of them make a move you don't like, take your shot, we can ask questions later."

With that he lead the trio out of the HQ and to the entrance to the temple.

"We're listening, what do they have to say"

"Yaaarrrr" ~Work, wouldn't you rather play?~ the Animatronic said, holding up his knife. He clearly did not know what was going on....

Cindra heard Tom's question...and ran to the manticore and fangblaze.
"What do we have to say again?C only told me to give you both an opportunity to talk." She said, whispering to both of them."I-I mean, I don't know what to say, or what they would listen to."

Thorn nods to Tom and follows out of the HQ and into the entrance of the Temple... Though was rather shocked over hearing Cindra's voice, she stood by Tom defensively. "C-Cindra?" Thorn asked, looking very confused.

Rechomi blinked and spun around, looking to the other Swix "... Uhhh... One moment" He mumbled awkwardly, then looked into the room. "Uh, did you do that splitting thing again?" He calls. "There is a... Another you out here&#33;"

Jent tilted his head at the strange sight ahead. There was no way they just wanted to talk... Not after that murder of crows barreled their way inside the temple. Frowning, he couldn't really understand why Cindra, despite still being rather intact, would act so sincere with the Collector's agents. The very thought bugged him so as he stood next to his fellow knights.

Solveig glanced at the startled Avali, kneeling down next to him. "Rechomi... she is likely an Endo-Skeleon," she reminded, nodding at the 'Swix' that stood at the door. "Am I right?"

Swix looked at Rechomi when he asked her about the Splitting thing, grinning, then the other Swix looked at Solveig when she got it.

"That is correct Solveig, I am still whole and myself-" the Swix from the chair said. "-and I am an Endo-Skeleton" the 'Swix' from the doorway said "Excuse me" slipping past them, the Endo-Skeleton stood in front of Swix as she put a hand on it's head-then just as suddenly turned around and marched back out.

"Is that Condra?" she said aloud, eyes wide.

~Whatever's going on you guys need to be wary~ she sent to them all.

Fangblaze and the Manticore

Fangblaze tilted his head sideways at Cindra, his flames rising a little higher in agitation the Nightmare snorted "That's all that C told you, it's all we need to know. But she told me that you would already know the appropriate
things to say, you already spoke to her about it" raising his head to look at the Knights the fire horse snorted "We will not talk to you so close to that Temple. Around the outskirts of the protective field would be better"

Staring at the thing holding a knife up to it the Manticore narrowed its eyes and ruffled its wings. ".... Go away and bother somebody else"

The Collector

In the cave the entity pointed at the gargoyles snake "You already possess the means to stop him for good, all you need to do is get him unawares in order to freeze him... and then take him to Kata or somewhere else he won't thaw. However I can give you this" holding out a snake headed hand the entity formed what looked like a beautiful and smooth black dragon scale, darkly mirrored; small as a pill. "Swallow this and I will grant you my gifts, should you wish them. I would see the Knights, and everyone who believes that he is a god destroyed"

Looking to the newcomer, C frowned. "How bothersome" she muttered, then melted back in to the shadows as she tossed the scale at Blackfoot

Cindra blinked a few times, slightly confused by the fangblaze's words...but then realized that for negotiations to happen, both sides needed to be on neutral ground, instead of being inside of the temple, considering Shalim's statue."We do not need to be too close to each other, if you do not trust us.We are...well, just a bit afraid of Shalim's statue, and Au'Marui's blade" Cindra said with an awkward giggle, unsure how to proceed. "I mean, would you be able to talk calmly if you could be killed by a single command of the other side?I'm sure I wouldn't...and even though C is the embodiment of the concept of evil itself, she is trying to use words to talk to us, right?And..." She looked at the knights, and then let out a sigh.

"I am pretty sure you would fight them anyways if we did try to attack the temple, and so, I do not believe you all aren't prepared to at least flee to the safety of the HQ.We have nothing to lose, but we have everything to gain...I mean, when two immortals fight, who wins?"
Cindra said, shrugging casually.
"If we did seal C now, she would eventually break out angrier than ever, and probably,at a time where only our descendants are in Pax, since the lifespam of most of us isn't that long.And because of that, I do have a slight belief that if we can reach in a treaty with C and her agents, we'll probably be safer.I've...spoken to C directly a few times by now, and personally, I can say that C does wants to conquer the whole Pax, isn't above using most of methods for that, but...she is not a liar.She twists words, sure ,but she never lied to me at least....so...uh...I would be glad if we are able to talk in the outskirts of the protective field, where the agents won't cower in fear...please?"

Cindra said with a worried expression on her face, hoping that her speech might've convinced the knights."I swear, she only wishes to talk.If she didn't...then why else would I be alive and healthy?"

"... I believe you are right," Solveig muttered, attempting to rationalize what the maid said. Severely confused by this eerie scene she witnessed via a comms monitor, even so far activating the subtitles the camera quickly interpreted to better understand what went up there. The Agents were ordered to take care of all the knights and the huldra herself, from what Dentanus described. Yet, she imagined something else hidden from them influenced the Collector's motives... for why play fair when you wanted all of Pax?

Tom Looked on, pondering their request. "You'll forgive us if that sounds a bit suspicious. We'll need to discuss this for a moment."

*To the Knights* ~Swix, do you see anything suspicious on the monitors? It smells like a trap, but we can use that to our advantage if we are careful. What does everyone think?~

Jent frowned as the maid spoke, not fond of the idea of leaving the barrier in order to negotiate... if that was really the case. Standing next to his fellow knights, he felt unsure what to say on the matter. That is, until the others spoke.

*KoI* ~Definitely does, Tom. Quite risky to step over the field's range for the sake of neutral discussion. Though, the Agents don't seem to be budging in their stance~

Cindra sighed, looking at the knights discussing, and then whispered to the agents.
"I know it is not my place to say it but...wouldn't it be more accepting for us all if we compromise slightly?As in, the knights on the edge of the protective field, and us right outside, as that way there is no danger for either side?Maybe not a true neutral ground, but I do not believe they would be cowardly enough to fight us from a safe area, and since we wish for a discussion, and not a demand, hopefully, then it would be better for us to talk like that, as equals...as I do not think that the knights will change their mind, and if they do, they'll have some backup plans.I cannot blame them, as...well, that's how they survived from C so far, right?" She said, rubbing the back of her head, hoping the knights couldn't hear her."So....how about we compromise slightly?"

*Blackfoot takes the scale before The Collector disappears. Still holding the scale, he looks at the stranger*
