The elf moved in front of the two her sword out instantly. "no all royals" she stated her blade was in defence still sheathed but held as a bludgeon and promise to withdraw it should there be further agony promised. "do not try to make a fight Miss Swix, i do not wish to draw my blade in defense to keep the peace between us all since it has been naught but words exchanged and anger clouds much"

"I've kinda gotten used to it. Between alternate selves involved in my life, and the simulacra that live in my head," the Distortionist mention back at Zerexe. His expression dipped at the continued discussion of the local guards' incompetence. The Jentil been a protector of those around him, notably as a former Knight of Insanity when he and Swix still were involved with the group. Apparently things haven't shaped up for the better, addressing newcomer directly.

"One never knows what might happen in Pax-HEY!"

Disregarding what the Split might knocked over in her sudden outburst, Jent attempted to wrangle her back. The Distortionist's right arm flung itself outward in a fluid motion. Stretching in an unrealistic fashion, the reality warped limb went to coil and restrain the furious Split.

Zerexe stepped forward to get into her way, acting as an unmovable wall. "Not today. No fighting. Deal with it like a responsible, civil adult or put it off until later." She used her own energy, in a massive wave, to help push the Split back harmlessly.

Tom tried to react. To his credit, had everything been normal, he would have been the first to react - Even beating Zerexe, which was no small feet. As it was when the women were restrained and everyone stopped yelling, they'd find Tom on the ground, where he had fallen over, still not entirely used to how fast the new leg could move when prompted.

Tom: "Are you two done, or do I need to give both of you a dressing down when I get up?"

There was no humor on his voice...

Swix was absolutely furious at this point and would have rammed right into the elfs sword with no care for her own safety just to get at Abi, however the blowback of air from Zerexe and the arm from the Jentil coiling around her soon not only halted her mad dash but also pulled her back. The Splits arms were pinned to her side by the coiled limb and yet even so she struggled.

Meanwhile, Abi peeked out from behind all the defensive bodies between them still sipping at the tea in great curiousity. Huh, so this is what felt like to be the one defended. No wonder people tried to provoke her on purpose... "I'm done" the Oriental woman told them all after she got a good look at the fallen soldier. She'd done that. Was this the emotion called remorse? She wished she could take those words back if she'd known this was going to happen.

Meanwhile Swix's eyes had rolled back up into her head and she was mumbling to herself. To her credit though she'd stopped any attempts to get at Abi. Half the tables decorated enchanted cupcakes had been flung off and hit the floor. Abi looked to the Split with an uncertain expression. "Errrr... What is she doing? It's kind of freaking me out"

((Double post of DOOM! -Er, for clarity))

All this commotion attracted a being extremely different from the rest. Previously invisible, a woman with messy dark brown hair manifested above them. She wore a purple nightdress and was currently floating on her side in the air, adopting a pose that wouldn't look out of place on a sofa. However both her messy hair and her nightdress floated about her in the air, taking absolutely no notice of gravity.

This barefoot beings eyes glowed a deep blue as she stared at them all, slowly rotating on the spot. "Look at you all in so much seriousness together, you should be having a blast. Silly little solids and their silly little pointy objects, don't go poking holes in each other. You'll ruin it for everyone else!" The being giggled lightly to herself.

Tom noticed the obvious immortal and clutched at the bead hanging off his wrist -though he didn't deploy it. Merely exposing it should be enough - even from his prone position.

Tom: "I thought they were supposed to be egging Immortals as they came through the gates..."

Yara was the first to walk over to the riders, with a wide smile as if she wanted to give them diabetes. "Hello, and welcome to our humble maid cafe. I couldn't find more maids so it's just three, but one of them is in charge of cooking because I have no sense of taste and Yuru would poison the food out of spite for making her work. It is a pleasure to meet all of you, the four in fact! I don't have any specialized food for dragons, though, so I'm afrai I must ask you all to choose carefully to not hurt your pets! The name is Yara, and I shall be your maid, I look pretty cute don't I?" She asked, after saying all these sentences nonstop, and twirled her dress as she spun to show off her maid-like clothes.

Yuru though, would just pull Yara away. "Erm...she did all the introduction, so what would you like to have?" She asked, with a smile that looked closer to fake than real. But at least, she was trying!

"Errrr... What is she doing? It's kind of freaking me out."

"She's conversing with one of her simulacrum, Abi," the Jentil explained to the mortal woman, eyes narrowed at the one who caused this outburst. He would slowly lift Swix up in the air, bringing her back to his side to keep the Split out of more conflict. "Just... Just leave her alone right now-"

"Look at you all in so much seriousness together, you should be having a blast. Silly little solids and their silly little pointy objects, don't go poking holes in each other. You'll ruin it for everyone else!"

Already annoyed, Jent took a gander at the latest visitor. Another Goddess by the way she both spoke, and how Tom reacted to her presence alone. The Distortionist did not need any more madness right now.

Abi just shrugged, Swix's thick skin had eroded since the two had last been connected as far as she was concerned.

Meanwhile, Gravitia rotated slowly up in the air whilst looking down at the fallen man who'd suddenly started clutching his wrists. "Gates? Oh right, those metal swinging bars that move two dimensionally. I didn't come in that way, I came in from above" She pointed up at the sky "Likely a lot of other immortals won't use the front gates either. Someone in here really did not think this through" Gravitia smiled, it was oddly good natured if a little bit pretentious.

<hr />

Meanwhile, the viking Iona and the Jix Jinx looked at each other before both also bursting into pleasant smiles. "Fangflare. Can have. Raw. Fish. Herring" The viking called Iona said haltingly, with a thick accent of ancient nordic origins. Clearly Common was not her main language. "I will. Can have. Roast chicken?"

Jinx nodded lightly to them both "I'm sure you're doing a great job though, right? I'll just have a lemonade and Bill can have... hmm, well, he'll eat anything really. Cake would be nice"

"I...am afraid raw fish herring isn't in the menu of the cafe." The water elemental said, as some roots came out of the cafe, each as thick as an arm, and wrapped around each other...before having a flower blooming on top of the small vine-pillar, forming a makeshift table for the four of them.

"It is now&#33; Yara, you go hunt some fish&#33;" Anthea shouted from the kitchen, as she used vines to serve lemonade- made with lemons grown by Anthea herself, to the jinx, as she began to bake the cake and roast the chicken at the same time by using various types of plants and magic. Probably, without this lady in the kitchen, this cafe would've failed in the first few minutes of the fair.

As soon as the wind elemental heard Anthea's voice, she nodded and dissipated into thin air, rushing as fast as she could to nearby lakes and rivers to get a fish, unsure how fish herrings looked like.

Venturing up to the triple stalls to greet Liara, Elena, and Cindra would be Drausus himself. He figured the constructed guards he used during Feast Day would be suitable for any of the kids he helped watch over, giving him time for just himself. "How's it going with your sales?" the Jentil asked the three of them, looking over what Cindra displayed.

The two dragonriders at the cafe smiled and waited patiently, they chatted between themselves in ancient Norse for a bit before the Jix looked over to Anthea, who seemed to be the brains of the outfit. "Has business been good?"

Meanwhile, Gravitia flipped over to being sat on the air with a suddenly slightly annoyed look on her face. "My you're all so serious. It's not befitting a festival atmosphere you know" Ribbons and bunting and confetti suddenly erupted from where the Goddess sat as she attempted to shower everyone in good cheer using decorations. "This is a Fayre of peace, no?"

Abi after her outburst, now went to Tom to help pick him up off the floor after his faceplant. "I'm sorry" she said, perhaps the only person here that she wpuld say that too.

Cindra was currently just being bored, using... a cell phone, as she waited for the clients to arrive, hers being the least popular of the three stalls. As it was just charms done by a human, mixing religious and arcane knowledge she learnt from Elena and Liara, and for the most part, untested: It had effects such as warding against curses, or dealing with illnesses, some even being able to communicate with gods- assuming the god in question filled that talisman with his or her energy beforehand. "Oh, hi Drausus," she said, although she kept using on it.

"...Well, I apologize for Cindra. Recently I got a breakthrough on my dimensional knowledge and managed to start communications with other dimensions. It's not easy... and actually it's too expensive for mass-production. Because of that, such device isn't on sale yet," Liara said, grimacing a bit as she showed the stall, having various books on magic knowledge-nothing too advanced, and most of them being just proved theories behind various types of magic. Including an interesting one, titled 'Arcane distortion'. Elena though, did not reply to Drausus as she was busy reading her own book.

"Hello-Oh, that's fair enough," the Jentil spoke from human to demoness. Drausus figured he should take a gander at least with a little of each of the stall. Both to be fair and to see something he might otherwise overlook. "... Arcane Distortion?"

"Oh, this one is a little work in progress. Only a theory as a side-project of mine, after seeing you and Anima," Liara said, picking the book up. "Distortion is the art of making your mind impact and change reality, am I right? Something close to that, at the very least."

"That is correct," he confirmed the albeit brief description of his main mastery. "This being largely just your own observations? Nothing quite advanced from Anima's own well of expertise?"

"It is... close. Merely the idea of using magic to replicate distortion, or use distortion to cast magic spells. I have managed to do something close, but it was merely using magic to achieve similar ends to distortion," she said, doubling the length of her fingers, and even wriggling them as they lacked joints, but it quickly returned to normal. "Far from feasible in combat compared to most distortionists... But it is a 'support', rather than the main method of attacking, assuming you are facing things without minds am I right?"

"Even things without minds, so long they are not anti-psion in nature, still can be compelled," Drausus said, not quite sure what Liara meant with that last point. "Mind if I have this copy then to compare it with my own notes?"

"Hm, I would like to see the results too...and lastly..." Liara now grimaced a little. "Distortionists are mortals, for the most part. Nothing quite...'out of norm'. I mean no offence, but if you compare your power with Shiri's or DP's, you would lose ten times out of ten. This book is only theories-no concrete method. You won't find how I managed to imitate the tentacle fingers here, for the full information, including hypothesis and in-depth methods; you'll need to visit me. To prevent people like them getting their hands in distortion."

"Mmm... Fair enough," the Jentil said with a slight flicker in his eye. Said book vanished from the table, leaving no sense of air rushing in its place once it blinked from existence; only to reappear on Cindra's table to do a silly dance jig. "Hello my baby, hello my honey Hello my ragtime, summertime gal~" Drausus merely chuckled, just plucking a random tune from his head for animated the book. "I don't reveal all my tricks either. Unfortunate the other Jentils lack the same degree of skill from their long years."

"Hm... That is a quite interesting trick. Did you consume the book and re-created it, or did you use dimensional magic and enchanted the book during the travel?" Liara asked, as she looked at the book with interest. "...Really, out of all possible tunes, you decide to choose this one?" The human meanwhile said, somewhat unamused as she stared at the book.

"-Telephone, and tell me, tell me Tell me I'm your very own&#33;"

The book would close itself, the imaginary limbs vanishing as it became... Normal? "Guess I'm a sucker for the classics," Drausus chuckled. "Moreso the later, diffusing my own consciousness to adjust the reality limits."

"Well, it's interesting. I still have to learn how to use magic to adjust the limits of reality, as I only did what you could describe as...'possible'." Liara said, chuckling as Cindra poked that book with a finger, although afraid of doing more with it. Elena would simply close her book, as she picked another one on her stall to re-read. All the books in her stall were about death, undead, curses and other things that can be considered 'black magic', even how to sacrifice your own blood to enhance spells and similarly evil tricks.

"One limit bent at a time I suppose," the Jentil shrugged, curious to see how far Liara went as he pocketed the book into his satchel. Unfortunately for Cindra, she could hear it singing the same tune again, if muffled.

"Just... stop that."

Not one to be mean, the Distortionist silenced the pages from talking for now. "... What is your best selling stock here, Cindra?"

"Well, for me it's nothing that really is tested, I guess. I'm not good with magic like Liara is, so I just tried to recreate these talismans and other supernatural stuff from my home, such as seals against demons, blessings, and so on," she said, as she explained one by one what each talisman did

"... Maybe a few of the demonic repulsion ones?" Drausus thought out loud, dipping into a pouch to pay for a dozen of them.

"Well, the demonic repulsion ones aren't strong enough to deal with the fateburns or Liara, mostly focused on lesser ones," Cindra clarified, although she still accepted the trade.

"Heh, assuming I need them for the Fateburns," he chuckled, putting the charms in the same bag. "Moreso for any unknown threats."

"True, true."

Nodding in turn, Drausus went to look over the third stall. Elena seemed preoccupied in no doubt rereading a book for the multiple time. Still, he might find something useful on his own.

Again, there was nothing benevolent like the rest, being mostly focusing on death, curses and undead-as well as some ways to deal with them... With a disclaimer that Elena herself has countermeasures against the methods stated in the book, and that one should not attempt to use the book's knowledge to take advantage of her.

The Jentil held no intentions in doing so, since the Lich showed no interest in being a threat to the Encampment thus far. Searching, he picked out a couple relating to death. Possibly so to find ways to delay it, given his history of living for so long. Many of these were mostly on non-natural causes of death, rather than natural rotting or diseases related to old age though.

"... How much for these three?"

"The rights of your dead body when you die."

Drausus frowned, figuring it might be a complicated matter. "My body doesn't stay dead long, I'm afraid. Isn't there something else you accept?"

"Uh..." Elena mumbled a little, thinking over it. "A few animal corpses. Whole, preferably not rotten, and as little broken bones as possible. Within this year preferably."

"That is much easier to manage," his smile returned. "Should have them by the end of the month at worst. You know where I live after all."

"No rush," Elena said, smiling. "These are just the measures for those unwilling to dedicate to any path of magic. What was the term Liara used...entry-level. So it doesn't holds much value for me."

"Fair enough," the Jentil deposited the tomes into the bag, not appearing any larger in size. "I think that be all for now."

"Alright. I hope you enjoy what you've bought." Elena said, still looking somewhat happy.

Zerexe looked over the scene, satisfied, for now, with what was going on. She would wander off to go get a drink and listen the youkai mistress's songs. This...Jent...He was certainly not the same. She didn't think she'd get along the best with his mate either. No, better to leave now before she got frustrated and broke something. She gave Gravitia a wave and a small jolt of energy as something resembling an offering. She needed to go relax. Today was her day off.

Phoebe had set up a stall, selling horror things. Books, games, horror themed music, nightmares...Even selling challenges to hold up to her horrors, be they sleep or physical combat, to win prizes. A way to get those confident in themselves a game and her a vent of fear. She had similarly avoided the gates, not willing to let someone reduce her control on herself. She was reading a book while she waited, listening to some odd music those such as Tom would recognize as 80's rock and metal.
