Fair's fair at The Fayre!
In hindsight, the Fayre organizers really should have thought up something to manage the sky... And probably the ground. Didn't something poking out of the dirt looked like Grathon? Still, the fact of the matter was that Gravita showing off her power might unnerve the other fair-goers. "Could have entertained the thought of being mortal for today," Jent retorted, coupled with an eye roll.
"... And yes, this is supposed to be a peaceful affair."
Between the heated emotions earlier, and this nonsense, the Distortionist took in deep breaths to maintain his cool. As far as he knew, Gravita caused no significant harm as of yet. It just showed a terrible precedent.

Tom took the hand proffered by Abi and stood up, still grasping the egg weapon in hand. "You really should consider it."

Grog: Grog let lady try, but only if Grog get turn
::with that Grog moved out of the way of the game::

Near the Maid cafe, a loud driving music could be heard. The source soon became apparent, as Ariel - as a mortal thanks to the strategic eggs around the entrances - was riding a palindrome, dancing in her chair as it was carried by four priests of her order.

Abi helped up her friend and only let go when she was sure he was steady. Meanwhile Gravitia just grinned at them before she descended herself down onto the ground. "Thing is I didn't know about that until you told me, due to coming in from the air. It'd be interesting to be mortal without being ripped unwillingly away from my Sphere and made delusional". Gravitia was an odd one, though she made sure to manifest the high heeled shoes before her feet hit the ground "Zeredah seems to enjoy it"
Gravitia then went deadly serious for a minute "But being the way I was might just have been a symptom of being a being of chaos forced mortal. I don't remember much of that day other than a vague recollection as though of being in a dream"
Speaking of the incredibly young Goddess of Night, she'd actually volunteered to be made mortal at the gates-much to the guards surprise-and was now running around the Fayre trying to experience as much as she possibly could.
<hr />
At the Maid cafe, Fangflare and Bill were the first to lift their heads and stare in the direction of the loud driving music before Jinx and Iona heard it themselves and turned to look. Jinx herself broke into a huge grin at the sight of her godmother that somewhat faded as she sensed Ariels powers were no longer present, whilst Iona just looked incredibly confused and couldn't help but keep watching.

Laur moved forwards proceeding Grogs movement away from the most unfortunate gamesmasters game.
"Very well"
The once reluctant mutant proceeded to agree upon the brutes condition before taking up the hammer within both hands, halting the motion theatrically above her head and proceeding to slam the instrument upon the machine as hard and fast as her particular strength of muscles would allow.
The mature woman shot the man a dazzling smile betraying mirth then tossed several golden coins to rest upon the mans counter. Unbeknownst to himself, the brute whom went by the name Grog or indeed anyone else partaking within the Fayre Laur extended her secondary ability gained through mutation. The one commonly referred to as a dampening field extended outwards from her person in a few meters diameter. Should this attempt at damage control result in failure Laurs coinage would prove more than sufficient to cover damages incurred.

The fact Zeredah enjoyed her mortal experience at Fayre eased some strain. At least she respected the rules. "... Alright. Could you try toning down your 'flair' for today? Don't need the town guards feel justified in causing an uproar," her asked Gravitia calmly. Jent understood worry enough-he was 'mortalized' of sorts when his soul was cut in half before.

Grog took the hammer easily, in spite of Laur's ability. However, when he lift it up and slams it down, the weight stops just short of the bell. Grog looks at it curiously, and tries it again, with the same result. Tears form in his eyes, and he sits down with an earth shaking thud and starts bawling.
=========================
Tom was just getting onto his otherwise shaky feet when something shook the ground. He kept upright this time - barely - but was instantly looking around for what could have caused that - only to find Grog bawling his eyes out near Laur and one of the carnival games. Tom hadn't met the mutant too much yet, but if the rumors were true, that would explain Grog.
Tom: "I should probably deal with that before he decides to go berserker in the middle of the fair"

"That seems fair" Gravitia agreed to Jents request, now firmly rooted to the floor. "I'll keep as toned down as I can" She then turned and started walking away rather than floating. "See you around"
Abi listened to Tom and then watched him start to walk over to Grog. "Be. Careful" she said. There was that concern again. So many new and puzzling emotions.

A most expectant expression revealed itself upon the mutants face as Laur watched the barbarian. She had not had much call upon which to exercise her specific ability of dampening since being thrust upon this new world. She was most intensely interested in whether or not this particular experiment had worked, and the results appeared to reveal that it had indeed worked-to an extent. It most assuredly had not fully dampened the man, which was in itself intriguing.
What she had not anticipated however, was the very large and muscular man sitting upon the ground so hard the earth threatened to part with her feet, and proceeding to start upon a particularly loud tantrum.
"My, whatever is the matter? Surely a mere game cannot mean so much to one such as yourself"

::The big barbarian continued to bawl, but managed to get out something that sounded like "Grog not Strong" between sniffles and tears::

Laur frowned at the grown man currently in the throes of a massive temper tantrum. Apparently the brute was unable to comprehend the simple idea that getting the weight that high was nigh impossible for most 'mere' mortals.
"If you attempt again, you will destroy the machine this man worked so hard to set up, and deprive othera of the attempt. Is that what you really want? It would be incredibly selfish"

::Tom showed up at this time:: Laur right? You might as well stop trying, the big guy doesn't understand things like selfishness. He's essentially a giant toddler...
::He then goes to the big guy:: It's okay Grog, I think you're strong enough....

Gravitia spotted the priests carrying Ariel after having a look around from this position, before waving at them with a rather large and overenthusiastic grin. "Hello! Don't think I've seen you before!"
