Or an actually working game. Once again C3 is okay (not in windowed mode though, god no), but Docking Station is throwing a hissy fit. I'm hoping I've missed something but in the mean time...

Compatible with 64bit my arse.

EDIT: Okay, I found a way to get Docking Station to run. I need to force it to start in full screen mode. Great, it'll work! Except I'm not particularly happy about that. Sure, they'll work, but so would my old game using that method if I'd known (not to mention the fact it's gonna look awful). Plus if they're gonna say compatible with 64bit, they damn well need to mean it, or at least make a note of it, just like they did with multiplayer not working.

Did I spend a lot? No. Do I feel a bit cheated still? A little. It's my fault for not looking into it more I guess.

EDIT: Disregard that, I'm an idiot. My point still kinda stands, but there is a way to get it the resolution I want AND run it full screen. Which is great! Would still have worked with my old game, but oh well. Does work a little better I guess.

EDIT (again) *SIGH* Alright, I really am DUMB. I found my monitor can still display 16bit colour, even though I'm on 62bit windows. At least it works now, I'd just have liked to have found out BEFORE buying a new copy of the game. Ah well, I'll call Internet Edition my collectors piece or some rubbish! :P

If it makes you feel any better, I bought Creatures 3 at least three times and ended up scratching the disk for each and every one. And I think it'd still work, but I get a cyclic redundancy errors when it tries to copy some agent and image files. Thank you cyclic redundancy check designers for protecting me form what could just be a simple discolored pixel or misspelled script comment by preventing the installation of the whole game!

I bought some of the single Norn breeds just before they made them free. So I know how you feel there Borg.

I didn't know you could do that with the game though, mind you I've never looked.

In theory you just need to edit the user.cfg file. However, I could never get it to stick, but it should be possible.

Hm, I tend to try to stay away from the editting of those files tbh, just in case I do something wrong and break the game. XD.

Mind you, I had to go in and edit a vital file in Baldurs Gate 2 once because of a game glitch that created invincible wolfweres and greater wolfweres.

After I'd found a guide and backed it up of course.

I assume you're backing files up too ;).

Tiny news drop while we are still talking about Creatures.

GOG is selling all the Creatures titles (the two packs: Albian Years, Exodus, and Village) for $2.99 this weekend. It's a really great deal if you are missing stuff for your collection, and yes, GOG has reworked all the games to work on the NEWEST systems. (C1 on Windows 7 anyone?)

So... Go check it out!
http://www.gog.com/en/promo/kalypso_games_2

[Protip] It says the promo has ended, but it doesn't look like it actually has. Just click the individual game's title and it should still list as $2.99.

I tried to cut out some doors from a building using my craft knife, when really I should have used a hacksaw, although I actually cut myself cleaning the thing. I also cut towards myself, which I know I shouldn't do but I lose a ton of control cutting away from myself, and I cannot stand to lose detail in my models, especially since I can't get them that often.

Ah, maimed for the sake of precision detail huh? XD.

Hope you didnt manage to chop off your thumb.

What model building was it anyway?
