I was really looking forward to the World War Z movie. God Damn you Brad Pitt.

For those of you who don't know, World War Z was a faux documentary book set twelve years in the future after a zombie apocalypse. Absolutely brilliant take on the genre and and a very haunting and inspiring book. I absolutely suggest reading it as soon as possible if you've not already. Whilst reading the zombie survival guide adds a bit of background to it, it's not required and it's also a very good book in it's own right.
So you can imagine how excited I was that there was gonna be a movie made based on it, with the largest budget any zombie movie had ever had. Aaaaaand now they're just using the title.

"A U.N. employee is racing against time and fate, as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly Zombie pandemic."

...

EDIT: To clarify, I will have been waiting five years, FIVE YEARS, when it's released for it to come out. I'm really disappointed and annoyed. I'm sure it'll be an entertaining and hell even a good movie by it's own merits. I'd just rather it dropped the name they've clearly just bought the rights to so they can draw in fans of the book (of which there were many, it was a best-seller after all).

Oh man, tell me about it. April has been a really tough month for money. You have my sympathies, but not my kidneys. You can't sell organs on Ebay any more. :P

Tell me about it. Apparently trying to eat healthy is more expensive. Bizarre.

Awww *puts away surgical implements and large club* there goes that plan :(

XD

You're right there, me and Angi just get what's cheapest. Yea it's not the healthiest stuff in the world and it's own brand but that doesn't matter. But it's really not cheaper to get fresh healthier stuff, no matter who tells you otherwise. They're deluding themselves. :P

For the past three days I've been running a Quest Thread on 4chan, /tg/ under a secret, secret pseudonym. It involves cyborgs and it's not very well-thought out, but it's fun, even though I end up doing it for six hours at a time nonstop.

Speaking of you running games, I still wouldn't mind keeping The Chamber going, but with seemingly no one else being interested, I figured I ought to ask if you mind having one poster take so many actions for the character in a row. Exploring that mysterious facility still has me a bit intrigued.

I haven't worked on the current video game project all that. I do have a more solid idea of what I'm going to make it, though. It's going to be about a robot trying to get a ride to Mars. Unless I have it start on Mars, in which case you'll be trying to get further out into the solar system? It might be a solar system exploring game. In any case, I was going to do some concept art first, but I wasn't able to decide what to make, so I think I should start with some placeholder stuff until I get a better idea of what would work in the game. Hopefully I'll start getting more done once I'm able to have stuff move around and can make levels instead of having to do nothing but interface stuff.

Edit: I found your game on /tg/, but had to go to dinner. I see it's still going, but I think I'll wait for a bit and work on stuff + read up on the archives for it.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to be able to run The Chamber, because I'm up to my ears in on-going, audience-participating creative works, but I really don't mind. I don't remember most of the puzzles I had planned because it was some time ago, but feel free. I may be a bit slow between D&D and the previously mentioned quest thread, along with the rest of all of the other busy things I'm working on.

I actually think I've never been this busy before. . but for some reason it's euphoric. I'm picking up steam. . . I think I love being this busy.

It's still freezing over here, for some strange reason. It still feels like spring rather than summer, really.

I rather it be freezing than sweltering on this side of the globe. You can always add heat, though not as easily take it away.

Um, Jent it's brilliant to see you RP again, but I gotta admit I'm a bit confused by your post in Born of Nightmares. Is that stuff to do with your char? Also what's a box on it's 'strand of its life'? XD
