Name: 'Guardian'
Gender: Male
Race: Varnkieg; A scaled, bulky race of subterranean beings.
Appearance: With impossibly broad shoulders, a large body, and covered in black-blue scales, Guardian, as well as the rest of his race, is built like the fusion of a wingless dragon and a tank. With thick, overlapping scales, and narrow, deep-set eyes, he looks quite imposing. His four-fingered hands and three-toed feet end in black talons, and his head is shaped in a way so that it would fit perfectly on a snake, albeit enlarged. The thin scales on the front of his torso are protected by a breastplate, made of lacquered bone and scale molded to his shape. Despite the way the rest of his body appears, he is a herbivore, and has human-like teeth.
Abilities: Guardian's main abilities are his martial training, his immense strength, and being nigh-impenetrable.
Personality: Guardian is a calm being, who counts most people as his friend. When he is in an emergency or battle, he's surprisingly level-headed and can quickly decide which tactics or strategies to use.
History: Varnkieg, when they come of age, get chosen to do a specific job, and spend the rest of their life fulfilling their job, such as 'caretaker of the cattle' or 'builder of houses'. They usually get a name, more like a title, based on it. Guardian's job, or goal, was to be a bodyguard for an ambassador. After various misadventures, they were separated, and Pax took him. He's hoping to find his charge once again, but doubts it will happen.
Notes: Currently, Guardian is in Ana.

Name:
Dravlin
Gender:
Male
Race:
In his own words, 'a highly complex golem'.
Appearance:
A diminutive being in swathes of black clothing, ribbons, belts, and veils. Any views of his face is obscured by either a wooden, smooth, eyeless mask that has been charred black, or by several veils. His limbs and appendages are inordinately slim and scrawny; He's average height for a human, but due to his build, he seems much smaller. His primary weapon is a double-bladed spear, with long split blades on each end of a charred, blackened staff. Despite having no facial features, there is somehow an aura around him that can give people impressions of his current emotions, akin to a smile or frown.
Abilities:
Other than being fast and agile, he seems to have great knowledge about the nature of the multiverse, and knows much about magic; When asked why he doesn't use magic, he explains that his body can't 'handle the stress'.
Personality:
Talkative and knowledgeable, Dravlin is almost never in a bad mood other than 'bored'. He's not easy to anger or frustrate, and in most cases, is quite genial.
History:
An accidental 'sentience' that was once a crystal that held arcane knowledge. Once awoken, he built himself a body. He was 'born' in a small noble house, where he was taught everything from art, to diplomacy, to martial combat. He eventually, for some reason or another, left his household, and did his best in learning what really interested him. He never explains what happens past that, but he eventually made his way into Pax to get away from 'His Master'.
Notes: Most of this was updated after I figured out exactly who Dravlin actually was.

Because the name of Guardian's race has bothered me for some time, I've retconned some\most of his character sheet.

Victoria Talean
Description:
A diminutive young woman, Victoria has curled scarlet hair done up in a tight bun, trailing down to her spine. While she normally goes around in a leather tunic and a long skirt- dress that looks like she comes directly from a world stuck in the medieval age, she's taken to wearing more modern sneakers. Because they're comfortable. On top of that, she has a long green cloak and hood, though she leaves the hood off. She has a strange angular tattoo on the side of her face. Both her hands and eyes are bandaged, leaving her blind. On Victoria's hip, a strange assortment of reagents and compounds sit in pouches. Most noticably, four long crystals hang there- one green, one blue, one red and the last white. Each of them gleams with an inner light...
Victoria is actually a great many things in once. She is an alchemist, a shaman, a witch... and a pretty good artist! She can invoke her elemental spirits to do actions for her, if she's willing to use their contracts, or she can mix a few potions to heal wounds or create walls where there once was open space. However, without preparation, she's not very useful at all. That's why she tries to prepare for everything. And more often than not, her tricks end up being useful somehow.
She has a familiar- Jaave- which is a Watcher, a diminuitive eye creature with two sets of batlike wings, with which it flutters around, and it clings to objects with its tail. It's not a powerful familiar, but it's sure useful- small enough to sneak around, and magically powerful enough to allow her to see through it.
History:
Just like her mother, and her mother before her, Victoria was the witch of a small forest in the wilds of her world, outside a village. She grew up there, in her cabin, being taught the art of magic and elemental contracts. She met, tamed, and eventually bonded with Jaave. However, one morning, word came to her of a budding coalition of witches and mages, all teaching one another their arts. She wanted in, to say it simply, and invoked a powerful spirit of travel to head there. However, she didn't consider exactly HOW powerful the spirit she invoked was, and invoked the celestial winds itself. The winds acted as it's nature bids- and brought her to Pax.
But not to Ana. She ended up in Kata, in the freezing wastelands of the surface, with nothing but a handful of flame spirits, the reagents she keeps on her always, and her tome of rituals.
When she finally ended up in the Encampment, several months later, she decided never to contract powerful spirits again- she'd just use the smaller ones in large numbers.
