A discussion thread for 'The Moot' RP. Brainstorm groups to represent, possible goals for your group, potential alliances and so forth. Scheme about how to bring down an enemy, complain about how everybody is ganging up against you or brag about how you managed to knock some fool down to a 15% trade tariff when you would have settled for 16%.

Also, feel free to ask me any questions you might have about this RP! I deliberately kept it quite vague with just a few strict rules to try and allow for all kinds of results but if you're concerned about anything here is the place to test the waters.

Finally, if I may offer a hint to help you get into the RP quickly, I wouldn't go overthinking your group. Odds are after a few wild accusations they'll be pretty different to what you had in mind in the first place anyway

I thunk hard, and the race just came to me.

I have no artistic skill at all, so it's kind of funny. The Leader, in this case, is the extent of my skill, and after deciding to use him the rest of their lives just kind of... all came together.

Of course, I had to think of a reason why they would need to do relations with anyone else. Resources is always an issue, and going along with that, a potential solution was actually found in what you already provided with your race, 3kul!

Then... inspiration and a means to the deal struck, and took the form of the lovely avian lass, Row Kadee.

I'm coming after your resources, 3kul... and I'm quite proud of the way how.

Very interesting CP&#33; A couple of quick points/questions:
* There are no podiums, just chairs, although what you've suggested with the large glass screen can still easily be accommodated.
* Are the sketch-beings in colour, or black and white?

How can we not have podiums? What kind of Crazy cultural meeting is this? XD

They are in black and white right now. But I suppose colored pencils are within the realm of possibility if provided&#33;

I thought about podiums when I was writing this up, but podiums complicated things unnecessarily. I decided that just having chairs around a big table was perhaps the simplest way to do things. You can still have a formal meeting with tables and chairs&#33;

I've yet to figure out why you'd want him to rapidly become dead set against doing the Draw any favours, but I'm sure that you'll make that clear in time.

That's surprisingly perceptive of you CP&#33; Yes, in a way you have met Zila. I have used her only twice before on Blackstar. But this is the sort of thing she was designed for.

Welp, the Quetzan Empire have clearly burnt their bridges with the Draw. I expect that Swix may do the best simply by calmly allowing us to rip each other's heads off CP&#33;

With accusations being thrown about I need to make one more thing clear. As mentioned in the rules, the first accusation made against an RPer by another RPer must be taken as the truth. It can be manipulated to a certain extent, as I've done in my latest post, but it cannot be dismissed as a lie. Almost anything goes with accusations, but there are two things that I'm not going to allow for this RP.

One is that you cannot wipe out a character or a character's group with your accusation (eg: "A is really a remote controlled robot", "B is just pretending to represent a group, they are all really just holographs."). The other is that you cannot cancel out a previous accusation (eg: if X says "Y killed his predecessor to rise to power", Z cannot say something like "Y's predecessor actually died of natural causes, and their rise to power was totally legitimate"). Accusations must be treated as fact, so contradicting facts or facts that take a person's character or group out cannot exist in this RP.

I am deeply, deeply ill, and that coupled with Easter I can't really sit down and write a proper reply right now. But I will soon&#33; Tonight or tomorrow&#33; I promise&#33;

I really like all the activity today though. I really do. It's definitely keeping my bed ridden mind entertained. XD
