Badges/Medals/Tokens/fish.

Y'know, neato colorful little things you can earn for whatever, like back in Blackstar? Totally. Maybe we can have a board where everyone gets a topic where the mods/admin will put whatever neat little things the member has earned, since... there's only so much space in signatures and we don't have the same set up as good ol' Blackstar did.

Badges/Medals. Like, say you reach your number of posts reaches 100, you get a little medal or a badge. Then, at 500 or 1000 posts you get another, and so on.

Now, Tokens... I'm not 100% sure about. But. Like. Say you win a contest of some sort. You get a badge or medal, and a token for, say, one free chibi, drawn by... well, me I suppose, unless more people would like to volunteer to draw token prizes. You can claim the chibi right away, orrr save the fancy pantsy token for later&#33; Or, like, you could earn a token to get a custom title. Y'know that text under your username in each post? Not the personal text, which is below the avatar and isn't as magical as a brand spankin' new custom title&#33; U:<

And fish.

Well.

Those are special. And top secret.

I just thought maybe this would inspire members to participate more, and perhaps make the ol' Dojonians feel a bit more at home. c:

That's an awesome idea&#33; I'll volunteer to be a prize-drawer, though I can't guarantee being able to do it all the time. I get pretty bogged down with work D:

Tavu, we need an art thread&#33; Maybe when someone wants to use a token, they can post saying what they want, aaaand the ~official~ prize-drawers can discuss amongst themselves on who should draw it? Or something? Maybe they can have their own private board for that. Like. I dunno.

'Cause... I was just thinking, if we let the peepuls choose who they want to draw their prize... well, what if one artist gets picked way more than the others? It could break the other artists' hearts. :C

I'd happily join in with this, drawing and all&#33; [EDIT] And I think the person who came up with the idea that gives a prize should draw it. No arguments then.

I think everyone who joins within the first month or so should consequently get a badge saying "Ye forum oldies", or some such.

Well, I've been searching and scanning for about the last hour, trying to find a way to do this within the forum, but I'm having a real big issue with figuring it out. Once I do, I'll keep you all posted.

Until then I suggest just sticking it in your signature for now.

Actually, I'm thinking I'll give out custom titles, each with a image for various titles. The only issue is that you can only choose one title & image at a time. Kind of like a combination of Badges and Belts from blackstar.

Just an issue of how big the title image can be really.

The system for Badges and Medals have been set up&#33; And stuff. But I'm not sure I'll start tokens or not.

We'll see what works I suppose
