Greeted by the warm rays of the star ascending high, the Encampment slowly awoken from its quiet night without any known visits by Krampus, unlike the year before. Such a festive finale shook many of the townsfolk into questioning whether they should even celebrate in worry of what might to come. Those who dared done so cautiously to not worried in the slightest of it all. The mixed display brought more than a few glares and pieces of junk tossed at a bothersome band of weefolk as they sang. As well frolicking antics among snow, forts and balls scattered around the town.

The approaching alignment of the Pass sparked a subtle change in the air as the dark sphere rose in the sky. Not all noticed it, and most who had dismissed it being no more than a natural chill by the frosty breath of the winds, the moon changed for the worse. Blazing, a surge of fierce light erupted from the new fractures scattered along its hide with the searing heat, soon blanketing the moon in a glow radiated around it. This supposedly dull rock nearly rivaled the sun in intensity, drawing faces of awe and horror.

None of this spelled well for peace. Far from it.

As the lunar body lingered in its gravitational grip, a sweeping wave of madness cascaded throughout the streets and forested groves on the planet of Ana. The once quiet sensation that nestled in the minds of many gave way to inexplicable riots clashing within the Encampment. Thus unaffiliated were left to handle the chaos ensuing on the streets and the escalating roars out in the thick groves further out.

Inside the house of Tala and Syllak, the werewolf lurked below behind bars of her own instruction and chains of her own desire as the moon came rising. This night was not for her, as the werewolf was transformed into her large, silvery Wolf form and chewing on the collar of her self-imposed chains. People would have been out in the forest tonight, to allow herself to roam would not be fair on others.

And yet... then the new, strange light shined from the stronger moon, and even Wolf who stayed with her during these nights of struggle cowered in the corner with his ears flat to his head.

This wasn't right.

Something was seriously wrong.

The next minute, a howling accompanied the sounds of breaking, stretching, twisting metal and Tala the full fledged Werewolf burst out of the house through the wall, a hole inside the floor showing the cell below, skidded and shook the dust off her fur.

Growling, ears flat back, hackles raised, eyes full of the Bloodlust caused by the moon the Werewolf raced down the streets on all fours, to leap upon the first person she would come across and tear them to bloody shreds.

Wolf, he half wolf half dog lay low, cowering in the corner of the floor of the cell and unable to move due to sheer terror of his master

Grog's Clearing - Forest outside Encampment
-----------------------------------------------------

Wrong

The idea passed through the sleeping barbarian's head, but found nothing to connect with as the Barbarian is slowly awoken by something

Wrong

The idea tries again as the Barbarian looks up, and this time connects to the concept of moon. It would have traveled further, but at this point the wavelength takes hold, and the ever present Rage that is the source of the Barbarian's true strength takes over, transforming him into the Berserker.

Grog stands up, takes the rock that normally serves as his pillow, and throws it as far as he can in no particular direction. The deadly projectile flies off at high speed, causing unseen damage to trees well beyond Grog's sphere of concern. The Beserker smells smoke on the air, and hears distant screams, both of fear and rage. He runs off on foot and knuckle, like a gorilla, off to add his destruction and screams to the air this night.

"Muhahaha!" Tetsu-ko the dragon exclaimed, throwing a snowball at a group of townsfolk hiding in an alleyway. It wad as big as a minivan, and upon hitting the ground burst out into a tidal wave of fluffy snow that left them all stuck in the deep white stuff.

"I am queen of the Christmas festivities!" She roared triumphantly, throwing these massive snowballs every which way. This seemed to be somewhat true, as the dragon looks to have attacked the large tree in the center of town, and was now entirely wrapped in glowing, colorful strings of lights.

Ana>Encampment

Dwelling within its own shadow, the frightening figure laid curled up beneath the canopy of thick trees, breathing silently as the minutes of drew ever closer. Its muscles been cringing in anticipation throughout the day. The instincts wedged in its core harmonizing in the symphony of insanity.

Madness.

Wretched out of its half-slumber, exhilarating waves resonated deep within chimeric amalgamation. Herensuge fashioned an array of composite traits into the monster that lumbered off its feet. During its scavenging sessions, the robust beast amassed a grand height six meters, supported by a mail of scales of with an oynx and jade shine. While in contrast a river of white hair which flowed down from its jagged crown of horns to the matching ends of its now six tails; each laced with rows of serrated teeth and a set of eyes matching the burning white light of the creatures own. A terrible abomination that boasted its own dark aura soon to accompany the riots.

By a mighty gush of air drove down on the barren earth it withered, the scaly wings rocketed the beast through the brittle trees in its path, boring a broad breath in the green expanse of the forest. The chaos chorus beckoned it ever closer to the Encampment, signaling bountiful feast awaiting ahead.

---

The Pass

Quite vast in its underground source, the continuous streams of raw power billowed out from the numerous vents it wore. Their seemingly end-less force of fallout generated a thick veil of clouds around the satellite. Any foolishly caught trying to escape or break in the new 'atmosphere' were afflicted by a more concentrated state of madness, leaving the weak-willed delusional as they fell back down from their attempts. Below, eerie maundering beings-for lack of a better term-appeared out of the rocks in a shambling stance, ranging in numerous shapes of animals from both planets the Pass bordered.

Attracted to the scent of a large crowd of unmoving prey, the silvery haired werewolf barrelled through another houses several walls with ease only to launch herself upon one of the townsfolk that had been trapped by the Queen of Christmas massive snowballs and proceeded to start savaging them, spraying blood and flesh everywhere.

Encampment
----------------

The Berserking beast known as Grog barreled into town, and directly into Tala the werewolf, knocking the hapless lycan aside from it's pray. Grog recognized this beast as the strongest opponent around, and thus chose to challenge it, picking up a discarded limb from some poor victim to use as a weapon

The werewolf was busy savaging another victim before Grog barrelled into her, knocked away the lycanthrope snarled then yelped when she hit a wall from the uncontrolled momentum. Landing on the ground the beast stood with her head down, ears down, fur bristled, teeth bared with lips pulled taut over them. Tail stiff and head held level with her body, the mad werewolf snarled and barked at the being that dared attack her before launching a charge at the Berserker, leaping at him with the intent of sinking her teeth into his flesh. Already the pain of that impact had become a memory.

Werewolf Tala wanted to spread the Curse. The stronger the carrier the better.

Encampment

The monster charged forth over the woodlands with great haste, entering the airfield of the town where it surveyed the anarchy underneath. With a grin, Herensuge barreled down at a rampant swarm of humans battering against a boarded up, crushing a few that were in its way.

In a deafening roar, a wave of madness shook through the minds of the cornered prey. Their heads unable to handle the sudden strain soon descended past the several jaws of the beast greedily consuming them whole. Such a taste it waited to enjoy ever since being caught on the radar of another, though couldn't wait any longer for its gift to itself.

"Haha! No fighting! It's christmas!" Tetsu-ko roars, before stomping her foot twice hard on the ground. It was an impact enough to rumble the snow off the nearby roofs on either side of Tala and Grog, and send it caving in towards them.

In the H&H

Hiding in the shadows, three glowing green and yellow eyes watched the chaos from a window of the H&H. "... N-Neh... That doesn't look good..." One mutters quietly. "Keh, w-we are monsters... WE shouldn't be afraid..." Another says, attempting to open the window, a little bit of red fur being seen before being dragged back into the shadows. "Ya crazy di'dink!? I have a terrible feelin' 'bout this an' recommend ya stay inside!" A more feminine voice says in a rather harsh tone.

Meanwhile Josie was in her room, having closed the curtains and cowering from what she seen. "W-what... What the hell i-is going on out there?" She asks fearfully.

Encampment:

Lotus was in her store, the doors and windows boarded up and the poor Florist hiding in a corner of the store cowering, trying to stop herself from reverting into a dragon form due to the stress. Something was wrong, terribly, terribly wrong. She heard the screams and shouts of terror and rage, which was not helping to quell her fear at all.

Miya was in her fox form, watching the chaos unfold ahead of her, hiding in another alley away from the madness, heckles up and body tensed, the Kitsune had no idea what she could do in this scenario. She looked up at the moon, debating on what she could do... She could sense the energies were coming from there. "... I have to do something..." She says quietly in fear.

The Forest:

Glowy was staring up at the moon silently, her glow dimmed by the lack of sunlight and the odd energy, feeling weaker than usual the small creature went to try and find a place to hide from the strange rays... She'd crawl along the ground a little before collapsing, breathing heavily... Before curling up and tucking her head in.

~... My child... It is not time...~ A soft voice says quietly. ~I... Cannot do much, as I have fled from this realm, however... I will always be a part of you. My child, do not let your light wane... Do not let yourself get taken by the darkness of this night... Glowy, be strong, my child... Do not let yourself fall to the madness... As you may hold the power to saving this night...~

Glowy listens quietly to the odd voice... So familiar, but how? With a renewed sense of strength and willpower, she got onto her feet shakily, still dulled from the strain, yet somewhat brighter than before. "To... Save this night?.." She says quietly, looking up at the moon again. "The... Power?" She stares, her glow slowly growing brighter as her determination grew. "... Mother..." She says quietly, wiping at her eyes. "What... What should I do? Mother?.." Glowy would be met by silence.
"..." Glowy's ears droop... Was she just hearing things? She did admit she... Did feel a little stronger than usual. "I... Just... Want to hear you again Mother" Again... Silence, Glowy then hears distant screams from the Encampment, ears perking up and she hesitated some, before quickly hopping over to there to investigate, keeping herself hidden in bushes.

The Pass

The four bunnies were oddly not all that affected by the madness energies, however the odd shambling rock monsters and these pillars of raw power and new clouds were quite frightening. Their cave they had set up nest in almost roasted them due to the powerful stream of energy that shot out of it, but thankfully they escaped, they were out in the open in the middle of the chaotic event.

All four tried to be stealthy by using the inanimate rocks as cover, and changing their shapes to better hide themselves... They plotted on a way to try and escape or at least stop what the heck was happening among themselves silently the best they could under the stress.

Cabin on the Outskirts of the Encampment
--------------------------------------------------

Tom had come to love the quiet life since the Wars. He couldn't stay at the temple any longer - especially how he had been used, then left with the burden he now stared at as he lay in his cot.

It was a small pendant of the Sanity Blade on a silver chain. Few knew that this was the form the feared weapon took now. It was still just as potent, but changed to make it easier for it's bearer. No matter what he did to get rid of it or destroy it, he woke up each day with it around his neck. The message was clear: This was a holy relic, and it was now his responsibility. Why that god would leave such a powerful relic in this world was beyond him, but Tom was one of the handful of people in this world that it could not effect. How can you make normal what already was? IT was part of the reason he had been chosen from Earth.

"There had to be a reason - why would he - wait, what the hell is going on?"

Tom's musings were interrupted by a great racket - enough to get his attention even out here on the edge of the town. He tucked the pendant under his shirt and opened his door to investigate . The first thing he noticed was the Pass - this world's moon - was much brighter than was normal. His pendant - the Sanity Blade itself - reacted and glowed a cool blue, confirming Tom's worst fear. This was Insanity Magic - and if that was the case, one of the only cures was hanging from his next. Tom rushed in, opened his closet and grabbed his plasma rifle and ammo. He looked longingly at his battle gear, but he didn't have time to suit up. He then went outside to meet and deal with whatever threat was at the root. It seems his work as a Knight was not over just yet.

The Encampment
--------------------

Shortly after Knocking himself into Tala, Berserker Grog was pummeled by snow deep enough to bury him. He was attempting to dig himself out to pummel whoever threw it when He felt Tala Land on top of his mound. His battle instincts took over as the Lycanthrope locked onto his scent and done fang first at Grog's throat. The barbarian had grabbed the werewolf's jaw towards the back and was holding the jaws both open and away from his body. However, the werewolf was strong and determined to get it's pray. The trapped beast clawed and Grogs's chest and arms, leaving long red scratches that burned like liquid fire.

In the H&H

Leaning down along with the frightened woman, Tages went and laid an arm around her to provide some security to the troubled mind. "I... Don't know...," he whispered to Josie, though he had some idea what might be going on. This wasn't the first time the Pass glowed like that... Yet, for this long?

Encampment

The mayhem continued to be fueled by the rays of the Pass above. Sentient and beast alike had some of their numbers falling into the melting pot that spilled out further than the town itself, with several trees damaged by the the wilderness's own residents.

All the while far sated from its hunger, Herensuge felt its own curiosity piqued by the voice over yonder after eating the humans it caught. "Fighting... Why... Not... Fight?," a faint rasp of a sound left from its jaws. An overwhelming desire flooded its mind upon spotting the distracted Tetsu, scattering a wake of snow in the eager sprint. The monster couldn't pass up the opportunity to sample the taste of a dragon.

Pass

The crimson-toned abominations took no apparent notice of the bunnies in their dire trek. All thoughts processing through them were wholly fixated elsewhere in another sort of mental task, ever slowly growing in numbers as different rocky formations transformed into beasts.

Tala simply pushes further down on Grog with her held open jaws The curse hadn't set in strong enough to set off the werewolves instincts to let go yet.

Buried under snow it barely noticed
