Blackstar has finally gone it seems, leaving an emptiness no other can fill. But it also leaves us with fond memories.

Skies, it's hard to believe it's finally happened...

Rest in peace, dear one. We shall forget neither you nor your teachings.

I can't say anything much more than a Thank You, and a goodbye to old friend.

I'm currently filled with regret that I couldn't set aside just a few moments in the past couple of months to visit Blackstar. In hindsight I feel that I could have, but such is the nature of hindsight... It's hard to believe that a website that played such a big role in my online life is gone, but relieving to see that the community is still here.

A big thanks to those who saw it through to the end, and to those who continue to carry the flame in their own way.

With this as the new forum, I'm curious. Who here remembers Blackstar? Treesprites Grove/ Gameware? Creature Labs?

Well, most of the people here are either from Blackstar, or friends of mine whom I invited. I was Zerrer on Blackstar, back then, and then turned into Tav sometime before it died.

A2K was the first forum I ever had. Ah, how time flies....I dare not return though, for the old shame that is my original style of posting, and for such an extended leave after vowing to return.

That said? A2K was where I took my first steps, but Blackstar is where I grew into my stride.

I remember some of those..but my fondest memories were the first things that ever made me go there from Kazumaru... -It rains Paint...and fruits on Blackstar- I won't forget that...and it actually rained buckets the one time on there....I will sorely miss blackstar....that at the same time..We know that the people that made it what is was are here and may still keep coming back....anyone who isn't here may join us and an old friend wil lbe watching over us in RP Forum Heaven.

Actually, that reminds me. How come I am not ranked as a refugee from Blackstar, despite the fact I am a refugee from Blackstar?
