You wake up in a new forum...

You wake up in a new forum, though you are feeling quite disorientated. Either you have been hit in the back of the head by some kind of brick-like object (possibly a brick, even) or you have not been online for quite some time. Looking around, you notice that this forum is different to the one that you remember being a part of. This adds to your sense of disorientation, as well as your sense of embarrassment, guilt and shame - you have ignored it for so long that the very universe that you were once so deeply involved in has crumbled away. There appears to be nothing left of it, or if there is, you cannot find it at the moment.
Some of the natives of this forum eventually notice you, and approach you without hesitation. Some look familiar, which further adds to your sense of guilt and concern that they may resent you for abandoning them for so long, others do not. To those whom you recognize, you cast a spell of SINCERE APOLOGY, and to those who seem to be strangers, you ready your GREETING STICK to give them all a sound greeting...
((Thought I'd try a post from the second-person perspective for a brief change of pace. Sorry if you found it to be too weird or difficult to follow, consider it an insight into my current frame of mind.
To those of you who already know me, I hope that you don't mind but as it is quite late I would like to copy-paste my apology to you from my apology on Ctopia:

Quote:

Sincerest apologies for a totally unintended and unexplained lengthy absence to everybody (except those of you who don't know me), uni got the better of me and sadly I have had barely any time for any online activities or games over the past few months. Contrary to what I'd previously believed I did not have five weeks holidays as the people in charge of my course had the brilliant idea of getting us all back into uni early, and within my first week I was already swimming in required readings and assignments, so unfortunately I disappeared quite as suddenly as I reappeared.
Thankfully, having just completed my last placement, I am drawing steadily closer to graduation. For those of you who don't know my course is a one year postgraduate diploma, so should I pass all of my subjects I'll graduate, then I'll be able to obtain my proper teaching registration and search for a new job. There are many options available to me as an ESL/Japanese teacher, so these are exciting times in my life! (or so I'm told )
Sadly I see that Blackstar is no longer around, and neither is the Evil Council's secret lair. I feel especially guilty for ignoring both for so long now... Though I've neglected both for quite some time I do love being a part of the Blackstar and Creatures communities (and the Evil Council too, of course!), but I wouldn't feel right if I committed myself to do something or to meet some standards that I may not be able to live up to. At this uncertain time in my life, I feel that all I can really do is apologize to those who I have let down, and promise to do my best to, at the very least, remain in touch with you all somehow, even if I find that I don't have the time to be as active as I once used to be.[/quote]
To those of you who do not know me... Hello, my name is 3kul . I am a long-time frequently-absent member of the Blackstar community who has found his way here thanks to the Creatures wiki article for Blackstar. I don't usually roleplay in second-person and don't really intend to do so here, so please don't take this post to be an example of my style.))
