Because Pax doesn't have one yet, I only posted this in the evil game thread (and I know some people don't like it), my subconscious apparently is doing it's damnedest to freak me out recently and I need to tell someone, I figured I'd put this thread up here
.
Last night I dreamt I met a race of sapient, collective machines called the Cyberdox who were one step away from wanting to destroy humanity! They got around by transforming into these sort of black and white, futuristic looking triangular cars- but changed again when they needed to communicate. Then they looked large flightless birds with screens which showed human faces!
The one I met called himself Zanida (pronounced ZAY-nih-da), and we had this coversation
Zanida: I detect you're sick Swix, would you like the Cyberdox to help you?
*Swix: looks around at all the sharp implements in the room she's been taken to, some of which really shouldn't be in a surgery*
Swix: Um, no. I'll be fine thanks
Zanida: Suit yourself. But you will witness the power of the Cyberdox very soon.
And then I woke up. Damn creepy, that was.

I just dreamed I was on a forum talking about how to make an intelligent robot, except for some reason we thought it involved connecting pieces of wire with the correct resonant frequencies.

I dreamed a neighbor of ours had gotten a cow, and it started coming over to our yard all the time, and even kept trying to get us to let it into our house. I'm pretty sure it was trying to get in at least partly because it liked me and wanted me to pet it.

In a nightmare I had a few days ago I could see galaxies and 3D interact with them-and hop into them using a catapault XD.
Then when I 'hopped' into one was in someone elses (a friends) house with a massive garden and the parents went out, but there you 'had' to be in before dark because bad things would happen if you weren't, but there was one person out there so we all had to go out and look for him, a little 8 year old kid, and we found them but them someone went 'noooo it's getting dark and the power's nearly out' so they all ran back inside.
Except for me, as I was in the middle of the garden at the time and got pounced on by a giant vicious black, very furry wolf. But I pushed on it's neck with my hands and made this flaming tornado come out of them so it died.
Then I got up and sent thunderbolts out randomly just so I could scare whatever else was waiting in the darkness away and ran back to the house-which in hindsight wasn't such a good idea as it attracted the other things and they all came and stood by the glass windows and stared at me. And even though the power was going out the others had the tv on really loudly downstairs and these humanoid-ish (they had no faces
, they were melted) creatures broke through the glass with their heads and came through into the room.
So I climbed on top of a bookshelf, but they knocked it over just as the lights and everything went and the last thing I remember was falling right in the middle of this group of... things... which I'm sure didn't have the best intentions for any of us.

I forget one of my two dreams from last night, but the other one was this pair of foxes on a crusade against humanity attacking a studio or something and trying to recruit a celebrity dog who got famous because she knew how to cook. For some reason I remember thinking of them not having the same kind of idea of how locations and navigation work as we do or something, but I don't know how they would think of them that's so different. Anyway, they somehow had this rolling platform that I guess they took from the stage, since the dog was on it, still using a deep fryer to cook some chicken wings. The dog was all happy about how people liked that she could cook chicken, but the foxes were cynical, asking her where that meat came from. This seemed kind of odd because I didn't think foxes would care about chickens very much.

So, the night before last I had a dream that I and two other people were on a resort on Europa. Then some sort of law enforcement showed up tracking 'dangerous wildlings' which turned out to be us. Especially the guy, as when we were escaping he changed into a 'werewolf' and then into a 'werespider' to get them away from us.
Then we stowed away on a ship which landed on Callisto and we were all happier there were less people on this moon.

So last night I had a series of three dreams in a row, all related, with the third one involving Bopgs char Markus! And it was definitely Markus, with his hat, goatee, crossbow, shortsword, heavy boots etc etc.
So yeah, anyway, the previous two dreams had me smuggling people (soldiers, infiltrators), food, weapons that sort of thing, weapons were restricted to mercs and law enforcement, into this city that looked nice on the outside but was horrific to it's citizens (who I smuggled out). The city used spies and terror to keep peoples mouths shut. So I was pretty much being a thorn in the authorities sides ^_^.
In the third dream however, somebody had contacted us that they'd found this secret entrance directly into their apartment, then we'd lost contact with them and if it was what we thought it was, that would give an advantage. But the rest of the group was busy doing other things, so I had to go investigate this by myself. Which I didn't really want to do, so I went seeking mercenary help. Just the one. Went to this bar that was very brightly coloured on the outside, very seedy on the inside. And met Markus in there-as someone in the 'rebellion' had recommended him.
I don't know what exactly happened in there, other than after my asking for a little help on this he said something that made me raise an eyebrow and get a bit suspicious. Something about the rebellion being good to him before so he didn't want to get paid 'til after-although I would've done it right there. I do remember asking if he was on a job already and should I come back later, but he said no he wasn't and it was fine-a bit eagerly.
So we left there and went to this very brightly coloured apartment that had clearly had some sort of fight going on inside of it-after Markus had kicked the door down as it was locked on the inside.
So the contact had been right and after a bit of searching we found the secret door (inside a wardrobe, how cliche XD), and it was at that point that Markus got his crossbow out, spun around aimed it at me and barked "Don't move!"-after my hands had shot into the air of course. This radio I had for contact with the others went off and he looked at it as though deciding something and then said "Don't answer that", so I didn't. Then he circled around, whilst I'm trying to figure out just what was going on, until he was behind me and told me to put my hands down behind my back. So of course, because I'm silly in my dreams and I like to aggravate armed people when I have no weapons of my own, I answered him back "I thought you said not to move?" rather sarcastically, which got me a pair of slightly twisted, aching arms as he pulled them down behind me quite aggressively before tying my wrists together awkwardly. Then I felt the bolt tip in my back briefly before he told me to "Move", so I did. Then I knew what was going on-clearly somebody in control of the city had gotten to him first, probably offered a lot more money for the capture of us. Since I was acting as the leader of the rebellion at the time, that was why he was so eager to come along when I asked. Also means my being alone was my own fault XD.
He marched me out of the apartment door-and then I woke up, with my arms aching and in an awkward position too XD

I dreamt I was some kind of superhero with a sweet lair inside an old abandoned video game arcade... which had a back door (i.e.: the actual front door of the arcade, not my secret entrance) that wouldn't close properly. I had to run over and hold it shut every time villains drove or walked past, which happened surprisingly often!

I'm really bad at remembering dreams, but I can remember bits of them and this is a bit of a humdinger. So yea for some reason or another I'm on a spaceship on the run from someone, and I have a friend with me (generic dream friend I think, no on in particular), and for some reason or another we're cornered, and I have to fake unconsciousness or a seizure or something. Moments later I'm on the floor and someone from a medical team is crouching over me, and I think I'm just gonna be carried off according to plan (for some reason). Suddenly I'm paralyzed with horror as they instead decide they need to inject me with something and a couple of very large needles are slowly pressed into my chest and leg. I actually felt the pain as I was waking up. O_o
I'm not scared of needles or anything like that so I dunno what it was all about. Still hurt though, it was bizarre.

<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream Night 1</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;"><div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream 1</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">A few nights ago I was on the couch, and while I was waking up, I decided I needed something to focus on in order to stay awake, so I examined the patterns on the couch, which looked a bit like jigsaw pieces with various patterns on them, though the interlocking parts weren't shaped so as to hold them together. Then all of them disappeared because the couch actually doesn't have such patterns on it, it's just a solid brown leather. Also, I remember hearing something about my mom moving the cyan car, but the only one we have is white.</div>
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream 2</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">Another dream, not really too weird but still neat. It also seemed ot have nothing to do with anything, which isn't a bad trait for a dream. We were at a restaurant mostly known for selling popcorn. The furniture and the building's interior were all made of fancy looking woods. One guy danced, sang, and told jokes while giving people a bit of popcorn. He wore a pinstripe suit I think, white with red stripes. At some point another guy showed up and worked with him. There were a pair of guitars on the counter, which seemed rather oddly shaped, with necks sort of like natural tree branches, and they looked either identical or like mirrors of each other. My brother was there and commented on the guitars, because he likes them.</div></div>
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream Night 2</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;"><div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream 1</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">Hmm, two dreams that I think are interesting. In one, I park a truck out behind a bank and wait for my mom to get back since I guess she went to go to errands and needed the truck running and unlocked the whole time so I needed to watch it? So like the cool guy I am I get out of the truck and fall asleep laying down on my back next to it, feet towards it. Then of course some dangerous seeming guys get in the tuck while I'm asleep and drive very very slowly away while probably doing something else that would involve loading things into the truck in the near future. They talk loudly enough for me to hear easily, mentioning that they stole the truck, wondering about what to do with "that guy" and suggest getting rid of him, but I'm not sure if they were going to do anything or what they were doing at all except maybe drive over the grass.</div>
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream 2</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">In the other, I played some kind of weird combination of Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64 where you fight against some guy who is probably K. Rool, who has captured you in a swamp some some kind of crime related reason. I think I beat the level and then flew off to do stuff? It seemed really cool.</div></div>
I'll start putting these in spoiler tags to save space because I tend to get on a roll when it comes to recording dreams.
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream Night 3</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;"><div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream 1</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">I was at some kind of class on the human mind and/or robots and/or AI, with a fairly cool teacher. It was a room more like the kind I had in gradeschool and highschool for some reason, and I was near the front. She asked us some questions on human behavior/thought that I don't remember, which were written down on the paper describing our assignments for the day. I was also reading a piece of paper that had our schedule on it, and I kept wondering what exactly we were doing next since the assignments didn't describe all the details of what we were going to do. When she reached a question where it said something about AI and how teaching them about dancing was good for their learning somehow, she had us stand up and dance instead. I tried doing this blindfolded because I thought it would be cool, no idea how well I did but I'm pretty sure it didn't matter. Then she wrote the number of the page on the wall, which had a lot of 8s and 6s and 9s and a 69, so she wrote them out with a fancy taijitu looking lettering. I was wondering when we'd talk about the question relating to AI, but either we didn't or I woke up first. I liked the class anyway, it was nice.</div>
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream 2</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">I was playing Minecraft, and was thinking about the Endermen, which I think was mostly to let be know how they worked in my dream. I think I saw some on the way to an odd shaped greenhouse between a cliff and some water, and then when I left they started chasing me, though they weren't teleporting for whatever reason. Also, I don't remember looking at them, except maybe through glass, so either they could tell or just decided to go after me. Then I thought about how for some reason there was a small chance, possibly due to some bug, of an endermen not attacking you, but instead just following you around and waving it's arms about. In fact this seemed to be what all of them were doing, though I didn't notice it, but one of them was carrying a stone sword for some unknown reason, and this one I let into the house, where he ran off into another room. Also, at some point in the dream, some upbeat sounding stock music started playing. I'm not sure what if that what it was or if it was specific game show or something, but my brain picked it out for that use anyway.</div></div>
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream Night 4</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">This one was pretty interesting. I woke up around 2:30, and my mom gave me a test because she couldn't sleep and wanted to see how well I could perform on tests while sleepy. I talked about how I would maybe try to do the test, then laid back down to go back to sleep. Then I woke up for real and it was 2:25! Later I went back to sleep, and dreamed I went to school with my brother, where I needed to go to one place and hand in some kind of paper with a number on it to be directed to my actual classroom, where I was to learn about robots. I was asked if I'd studied before I came there, and I did, but apparently didn't do some other kind of work that I didn't hear about?</div>
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Dream Night 5</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">I was watching some game show where you need to travel to various locations, and once you're there, you need to answer questions as cleverly as you can. Someone went to an island, I think in a kayak from a peninsula, and then there was a CG thing of an elevation map of the island and the area that appeared and flipped around a bit, then they were on the island talking to the host. The host asked to describe the island using as short of a description as possible, and the question answerer gave the name of the island, which I don't member other than it starting with M and being very odd sounding, and having three or four syllables. I found this to be a fairly clever answer, so I guess that sort of question won't normally take the name of the place as the answer, but there was some clever reason why it would be this time.</div>

<div class='spoiler_toggle'>spooky dreams</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">OK, I think this one needs it's own post: I dreamed I opened the door to the bathroom and some raccoon came down from the vent, and I wasn't sure what to do so I tried to scare it away from me a bit and I think it scratched me at least one before by dad came in. I tried scaring it around some more and then went and opened a window for it to go out through it case it wouldn't just go back up the vent or something, and we got it to go outside into the snow, which we don't have any of, actually, which further demonstrates that it is a dream. However, when I woke up, there was a scab on my forehead head from a cut I don't remember.
Edit: I should also note that I also got a cool looking pillow yesterday of a flaming skull and crossbones as part of a Secret Santa thing we did over the internet, and I now suspect it of being haunted. Edit2: Also a bit surprisingly, I didn't find any blood on my pillows or sheets. Edit3: Also, I called it a raccoon, but I don't think it looked quite like one, since it seemed more grey all over, without a striped tail. More indistinct I guess. Maybe like a giant mouse?</div>
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Night for January 16/17</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">Last night I dreamed that there was some kind of odd animal, like a translucent red pool toy, but that I was certain was alive. I could see it move, though often it only waved around slowly. I was certain it would try to attack and suck someone's blood, so I picked it up with the pool skimmer and tossed it over the fence, but it flew back over every time, landing on a red ball that floated in the pool and continuing to move it's tail (and/or trunk? I'm not clear what it had) disturbingly. No one else acted like they noticed it seemed alive, seeming to dismiss my attempts as silly.</div>
Oh hey, I had a really cool one, but I don't remember much of it. There was some kind of exiting thing I don't think I remember at all now aside from how cool it was, and then there was one where there was a show where people were showing off their inventions, and from that I remember some guy who wore a funny hat that he hit with a stick to make funny noises, while also making some with his mouth and voice. He was asked how he did it, but he declined, stating it was so simple that everyone would be doing it if he explained (how I think it works: wear a funny, spearhead-shaped hat that makes weird noises when you hit it). Then there was a group of people, and the show's host was showing us around, but all she got to show us before I woke up was this "Google Hat" that shows some kind of information by having an Android phone tucked under it and activating some motors. That was pretty fun, that dream, and I would have like remembering more of it. I think it helped put me in the mood for making stuff, so that's good too.
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>SUPER COOL WEIRD ZELDA DREAM (April 3, 1012)</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">A legend of Zelda game. I (as Link) was in a mountain, and there was some kind of path I was following. Things were getting pretty hard, and I think there was an ice area? Anyway, I start in some kind of desolate woods, constantly running into enemies, and wondering how I could survive having to face so many, with little sign of being able to recover health soon. I saw that I was reaching a new area due to the darkened narrowing in the path ahead, and expected to be greeted by even more monsters. I saw a few, but they seemed to thin as I reached a part where the road started to get covered in glowing blue pieces, like scales. I went along, and started sliding down it, entering another area, through the path remained covered in the scales.
On the way down there was a minigame of sorts where you collected both black hearts and regular hearts. The black hearts made your health bar look empty, though it wasn't, and gave some kind of bonus point. There were also hearts, which restored health as usual but also removed the Bonus point heart. There were still a few enemies, so I did my best to avoid those and grab some health, but also grabbed as many mystery heart items as I could. There were also pieces of hearts scattered along with the regular ones, which only removed as many bonus point hearts as you had health once you grabbed it, though it only restored a single heart immediately instead of all of them. Got three or so pieces of heart, a lot of the bonus hearts, and a regular heart or two, and things seemed to a have gotten pretty easy. I see a different path, but it requires an impossible swerve to enter, so I am forced to go down the main one.
In the new area, I see a wide expanse (or something) that the hill I'm on is facing. Sliding down, the cover I was on quickly ends. I get information that there is some kind of protector, with features part plant and part animal and having influence over the dangers of the land, and I will need to seek it's protection to survive. I see vines growing, moving, as the example of what infestation threatens me. Somewhat foreboding, but I find some kind of damaging slime spilling down the trail ahead of me, so I slow down, but vines have started covering the earth behind be at great speed, and I think I am doomed a moment before I realise the solution. Remaining in the gap between them, they eventually meet, at a spot where the slope has gotten steeper, and the vines reaching the slime causes it to extend off in a bundle. I climbed this, and was able to get to some kind of moving object just ahead.
The ground seems to have gone level, perhaps after a short dropoff. I grab onto the thing in front of me, hoping I would leave the two carpets of destructive material behind. On the large moving object, the protective force, I was informed to be on here. Though I thought it was wheeled, I didn't get a good look as they were blocked by the legs of the wooden legs. The object itself did not seem alive, being made of dried wood. Nodules of a sort cling to it, and I think this might be what I was looking for, but they turn out to be seemingly dangerous? I try to move past them, and I think I was attacked, but one of them picks me up and I am moved over it. I expect to discover the protective being soon, and see how it is to protect me and make the land less harmful, but I awake first. As usual, there seems to be some detail of the dream that I am missing, lingering...</div>

Had some varied, weird if not necessarily wonderful dreams last night. One was like playing a game of juggernaut, except everyone was a bright blue, faceless, crystal like creature who threw light bombs at each other. One had a psycho axe murderer who'd only go nuts if he saw an axe so I had to go find it and hide it, taking a music tape out of a piano to get it off someone else, and another a friend got turned into a very agile zombie by an evil witch in a church, who then started frothing 'oil' out of his mouth then ran off and I had to chase him and hold his mouth closed so he didn't bite anyome else. But me, that is. Very agile zombie he was too!

I know, I'm Necro'ing and Double Post of Doom-ing! Bad Swix!
Bvt I thought you guys would get a kick out of this dream
.
A Minecraft/Evil Council dream.
In this dream I was me inside a Minecraft like universe, judging by the way everything was made out of blocks anyway. I made a house, explored a bit apparently, don't remember that bit. I do remember discovering a village though and finding out it was abandoned. Apparently my immediate reaction to finding out that the place was empty though wasn't to wonder where everyone had gone but rather to attempt to burgle one of them and then destroy the wall to take the pretty bricks back to my house. Once I'd burrowed into the wall I got all excited about finding 'black marble' and started removing that from the hole in the wall to add to my house. It seems the reason that I wasn't all that bothered about there being noone in the village was that I was raising a baby black dragon underneath the farm I'd made as I had to feed it (coal of all things) when I got back.
Then as I was on the way back to the village to pilfer some more marble I met this guy who'd been dumped on the island. He joined me, talking about how empty the place was and how he'd been shipwrecked and stranded here, then commented about the abandoned village. I took him in there and stole some more black marble and he was like "Wait a minute... doesn't this feel wrong to you?" I shrugged, I say "Meh. Not really. They're not gonna miss it are they?" He seems suspicious but satisfied with that and keeps with me.
We get about halfway back and he starts looking at me funny.
He goes "Waaaaait another minute-aren't you Swix of The Evil Council?!"
I say "Yeah, and?"
He says "What do you want with me? You,'re not UP to something, are you?"
I say "No", thinking to the baby dragm I have hidden away under my farm. "should I be?"
He says "But... you're usually up to something"
I say "I'm bored ok?"
He says "What?"
I say "I'm bored" I grab his head with a tendril and start pointing it in directions I want him to see.
I say "See that farm? I made that. And that house, those fences, even that dock over there. I'm bored, and you're the only person I've seen since I got here. I don't know what happened to that village, and I don't really care. So run with me, the only other person here-or don't. Maybe whatever happened there will get you. Maybe it won't. Wouldn't you rather not be alone either way?"
He now seems intimidated, but nods and says nothing after I release him. I wake up just after that before it got any further.
