It shoots a small metal rail at very high speeds, usually fast enough to vaporize things on contact. But it's really loud, and has a slow reload speed.

Hey Borg I am just wondering which running creature you are going for? I think Jodie began running at the same time as me.

Oh, and I like your character there. Very interesting. :D

Also! Swix, the "monstrosity" are infected beings and the "swarm" are the infectors right?

Yes that's right, the Swarms are the Infectors and Monstrosities are the Infected bodies, however there are two stages of Infection, and three types of Infected.

The first are the Dead Eyes, which are the stock still ones I made reference to. They're pretty harmless, and this is when all the major changes take place, such as the overlong claws.
The second are the Monstrosities, which have had all the changes done already and will attack anyone that they spot who is alive.
The third type are bodies that are unfit for making into an efficient killing machine, (eg it's missing all but one limb), will become bloated in the Dead Eye stage, effectively becoming a portable Swarm Carrier instead. Obviously these guys'll be a lot slower than the Monstrosities.

So, Swarms are the Infectors, Dead Eyes are the (relatively harmless) first stage of Infection, Monstrosities and Swarm Carriers are the last stage.

I hope that clears things up a bit ;)

Also, well done Jodie for figuring out the next area needed to be visited :D

And yes Tav, you're quite right there. Although it's more of an energy drinker than just magic. And I'm only telling you guys this because it's going to be in the next post anyway ^_^

EDIT: Now I remember, Zerrer Kov'ag and Lykaios had a bit of a scuffle at one point. Ah, good times :P

Just so you know Swix, I'm planning on spending a few in game hours repairing, possibly a full day (depending on how long it takes to get through an in game day in real life), So it may be a short while before the artificer does anything again. Or you could wake it up early, who knows?&#33; ;)

The Artificer is heading to the crash site to get hold of any metal at all and begin his plans of DOOOOOOM, and has assumed that Lykaios is following it.
