Xenoparasites!

Fluffy soon lost intrest in CP and yawned, It then looked at Lushik and tilted it's head curiusley, it then did a sigh like chirp as it looked at it's Injured Wing

Fluffy then watched Serah and the Strange Command giving tree

Serah smiled through she was still nervius about what was going on,

Serah still had loads of questions but almost all where already answered, Most of the remaning ones where about the wolf, or 'Wonderer' as it called itself

Serah then asked "Um, Do you know of a strange energey draining glowing wolf thing?, It said Its name was wonderer?, Through I have a feeling it wasn't It's real name", Serah hoped the Tree knew atleast a little about this 'wonderer'

Serah would possibly be disappointed with the large trees response, for at first there was only confusion coming back. It didn't know the name 'Wanderer', nor did it know what a wolf was. However it did know of a glowing white being that matched the same description as the being Serah was thinking of-and the glowing white being had visited it's homeworld several times in the distant past, before a very long gap where it hadn't shown up at all, and two very recent visits. Each time bringing other aliens with it who tried to settle-where the hookheaded lizards were released and the being would show up after the destruction had calmed down-or bringing aliens who then abducted it's brothers and sisters from their home. This is what happened the last time-where the white being brought the birdlizards, the canids and the giant insectoids who then proceeded to remove it and the grove that surrounded them.

Here the tree stopped again, that was all it knew of the white being and it conveyed regret back to the human, along with the command ~Ask~ once more. Again, Serah had the same three options as before open to her.

Serah was about to sigh at the trees first response,
but after it showed her what happend when the wolf was around She was happy that the Tree knew about it, and a little more angrey at the Wolf. She now felt like all the questions she wanted to ask was answered,

She then said in a justifying tone of voice "I will try my best to teach that wolf a Lession, Not onley Stealing my energy, But Messing with the ecosystem's of other planets!"

Serah then felt like somthing was missing, Somthing important...

She then looked at her shouder and notaced Fluffy wasn't there

"Fluffy!?" She said slightley scard looking around

Fluffy tilted it's head then Chirped in an happyish annyed Fashion as it's master finaley Notaced it wasn't on her shouder,

Serah Sighed with releaf after seeing Fluffy on the Rock

"Fluffy" She Giggled,

She then Let go of the Tree and picked Fluffy up and Petted Fluffy

Fluffy Chirped happily and cuddled up to Serahs hand

The larger trees proffered branch was pulled away from Serah when the human let go, although there was another jolt in her mind just before-either there was something else it felt she needed to know, or it was just what it felt like once you broke contact with the alien lifeform. It didn't send out any commands to the other trees however, and the entire grove remained bent inwards towards the group. The insectoid called Teacher looked towards the girl when she spoke in her justifying voice, of a creature she had never heard of before with some surprise. "Wolf? Would that be what the creature that showed us these beings is called? It introduced itself to us as 'Lykaios'" clearly, that hadn't been the reaction she had been expecting from Serah once she'd finished talking to the trees "I'm afraid you'll have to deal with the Lost Children-the Xenoparasites, before you can think of taking that being down. Lest this planet end up like theirs"

Lushik on the other hand, was watching Serah carefully, his eyes becoming more suspicious since she'd let go of the big tree and was now talking to it-like a 'regular nutter;, as he'd referred to Teacher earlier. "What happened? Are you alright Serah? You.. know... you were talking to a plant before, right?"

Serah jumped again by the Jolt, But this time Fluffy made sure it was Stuck on Serahs Shoulder by Biting her which made her jump more

"Fluffy!" She said angrily

Fluffy did a sad chirp then cuddled up to Serah

Serah Sighed "How could I stay Angry at you, Your just to cute"

Fluffy did a happy chirp

Serah then looked at Teacher then said "Yes, It looked like a wolf to me, and I will try my best to Deal with the Xenoparasites, But..."

She then Sighed "I'll need to wait for My Energy to Return, Without it I'm Pretty much Hopeless..."

Fluffy did an Annoyd Chirp at Serah as It didn't belive what she said about being hopeless

Serah then looked to Lushik then said "Yes, I'm ok, I was just Learning about the History of the Trees and I have to say, It is amazing!"

She then said "I do know I was talking to the Tree, and it's much more than just a plant, It is More alive than a normle Plant and they have been through alot"

She then Notaced the suspicious look then asked

"Um, Are you ok?"

Fluffy looked at Lushik with a confused look then did a Happy chirp in attempt to Cheer him up

Lushik, the canid, couldn't seem to believe what his floppy ears were hearing "You... " he started, then swallowed "you're on her side! You're both insane! Didn't you hear what she called them? Children! Those monsters, slaughtering anyone they come across!" He pointed his gun not at them, but at the large command giving tree in the middle. Seeing this, Teacher took a step to move in front of the tree-only to find the gun pointed at her, so she stopped and shook her head, arms raised. "I knew you would never understand Lushik, you're too closed minded. That's why I never told you this before"

Lushik apparently didn't think much of this answer, and just stood where he was, his gun aimed at Teacher, the Command tree-and Serah, whom he now believed a part of some bizarre conspiracy.
"If you're telling the truth" he said "prove it to me"

Serah gulped then sighed "and i was expecting Aliens to act less Human..."

She then said Slightly angrily "Plese just put the gun down and Listen!" She then said upsetfully "I know your upset and so am I, But why can't we all settle things Peacefuly?"

She then said "all I want, and i'm being honest, is to just go home!, Last time I checked I wasn't realy on any side, all i'm doing is trying to survive in this crazy place..."

Serah then mumbled "first non-human powers then this... It's like I'm never going to have a normle life..."

Fluffy did a scard chirp at Lushik then did a slightly angry chirp and tryed to flap it's wings but chirped in pain instead

Serah looked sadly at Fluffy then sighed "I hope I get enugh energy to Heal your wing soon Fluffy..."

Fluffy Chirped happily at Serah, then did an Annoyed Chirp at Lushik

Lushiks arm holding the gun seemed to falter-and Teacher, seeing this and Fluffy's pain stepped forward again before she spoke "Look you're even causing my cousin pain-"

"Shutup!" Lushik snarled at her, changing the guns aim to her again-before a well timed smack from one of the tree branches in the grove knocked him flat on his face, out cold. It seemed the very trees had been using Serahs speech as a distraction in order to eliminate the threat in their midst.

"Hm" Teacher mused, before turning to Serah "now that that's out of the way, maybe you should rest here for a bit?"

Serah gulped then sighed "Or the Tree could Knock him out..."

Fluffy did a startled Chirp

Serah then looked at Teacher then sighed "I feel like if I have to walk another step I might Pass out..."

Serah then sat down on a rock and sighed "I should stop wishing at stars about being a hero, It's alot scaryer than it looks..."

Fluffy did a confused Chirp at Serah, Then yawned

Serah then yawned then Giggled "great fluffy I just caught your yawns"

Fluffy Chirped happily

Serah then sighed then lied down on the Rock watching the Brantches of the Trees and the strange blue planet then mumbled "Well, This defenatley Beats being abducted, Having to save an alien planet, No one back at home would belive me... Thats if I get home..."

Fluffy Chirped Tirdley then fell asleep

Serah slowley started to nod off then mumbled "my energy does return faster when I sle..eee...ep..." then she fell asleep

Serah and Fluffy would sleep peacefully for many long hours, for the Xenoparasites would not enter the grove of Trees-it was too deeply ingrained in their instincts. However, they continued to spread outwards steadily, leaving only the grove and the epicentre where Lykaios and the Artificer lurked.

Lushik slept nearly as soundly, with Teacher keeping an eye on them all. She'd also confiscated the canids gun, though she was clearly quite reluctant about touching it.

As day began to dawn, the neighbouring planet began to set, and diurnal creatures began to wake-causing fresh cries of pain a7 the 'Lost Children' found new flesh to maim.

Fluffy woke up then yawned then looked at serah then Chirped

Serah mumbled "I don't want to go to school..."

Fluffy did a confused chirp then pulled serah's hair

Serah opend her eyes then saw Fluffy then jumped back and screamed "IT'S REAL!"

Fluffy Chirped scardly at serah then chirped an annoyed chirp

Serah sighed "sorry Fluffy... I was hoping I was going to wake up in my bed on my own planet..."

Fluffy did a sigh like chirp at Serah then looked at Lushik confusidly

Serah then said "I think I have enugh energy to heal your wing now fluffy"

Fluffy did a happy chirp

Serah picked Fluffy up off the Rock and sat down then focused her energy at Fluffys wing

Fluffy's cut on it's wing started to heal, Then after about 7 seconds The cut was gone

Serah opend her eyes then looked at Teacher then said

"Morning, Um Sorry about screaming then"

Fluffy looked at it's wing then did a happy chirp then flew around serah in a circle

The Artifcer, focus purely on its work, had not noticed the creatures leave. It's only purpose there and then was to create it's new soldiers.

[CONSTRUCTION 87%]

Before it, 3 soldiers stood before their master, their forms nearly whole. The skeletal constructs stood tall, echoing the terrible presence of their master.

[CONSTRUCTION 93% COMPLETE]

As the structure of the warriors became complete, so too did the eldritch energies of the newly formed soldiers surge inside them. Ancient protocols fired up inside their fresh circuitry, commands set by powerful masters took control.

[CONSTRUCTION 100% COMPLETE]

The Artificer looked upon it's new creations, not with pride or sense of achievement, but with a cold, calculating mind. Looking around, it finally noticed that the creatures had left, and seemed to be avoiding them. Less resistance was certainly a tactical advantage. But still they required yet more materials, a suitable stronghold was required. The Artificer turned to Lykaios.

"We still require more materials. Disclose information you may hold on the whereabouts of such materials."

Teacher looked at Serah, her antennae twitching slightly. She could not smile of course, not with her mandibles. "Morning Serah, it sounds as though you are as homesick as all of us" Teacher gestured at Fluffy "and I see my cousin is up and about as well thanks to your remarkable gifts. Do you still wish to take down Lykaios, this Wanderer? I would suggest taking Lushiks gun with you if so. It's easy enough to use, and you will likely need it more than we
will"

Lykaios had long since gotten bored of watching The Artificer create it's minions, and was lying down on his ethereal glow, floating just a few centimetres off the ground with his head on his paws.

"Eh, what?" the Underling said, yawning widely before he lifted his head and rested those ancient yellow eyes on the other ancient being "It'd be helpful to know what kind of materials you need, otherwise we'll just be wasting each others time"

Serah Yawned then Giggled "Well, If I ever get home, I know if i write a book that happed whilst I was here I would make millions"

She then looked at the gun then shook her head then said
"I will teach that Lykaios that my energy isn't just food. It can be very Dangerus too, I even knocked over a Giant Robot. Through good thing It didn't know I was paralized from using too much power then or I would be dead... Of corse I will make sure to not use too much power when I meet that Robot again too, and When I fight Lykaios aswell"

Fluffy flew over to Teacher and did a confused chirp

Serah looked at Lushik then asked Teacher "Do you think he is ok? That tree did hit him Pretty hard"

Teacher looked towards Lushik, her mandibles clicking lightly "I had a look at him last night whilst you were sleeping. He'll likely wake up sore, but he will be fine. His kind is very hardy" Teacher picked up the gun herself and placed high up in the biggest tree. "As long as you're sure Serah. The Trees tell me the Lost Children are prowling around the edges of the grove, you will be set upon the second you leave the area. If you need to do anything that requires relative safety, I would do it now. You probably won't get a chance later. And we wish you luck"
