Pax Sleepover Party
Waaaaaaay back when I was a regular member of the old Lionhead forums (and for a while the new ones), when the forums were being completely revamped we had a great big chat in an IRC, which we called the Lionhead Sleepover Party.
Well I know we're not going down or anything but I thought it'd be fun to do something similar, get everyone, or as many people as possible, and have a great big chat party. It'd be awesome, really good fun and a chance for us to just chat more, rather than interact though our characters.
I remember the Lionhead one pretty vividly still, even though it had to be what, at least 5 years ago now. It got debauched. That won't happen here I'm sure.
Mostly because I get the impression that it'd all come from me, and I keep myself in check around you guys, heh heh
So what do you guys think?

I think its a great idea! This could be our form of the Gerbil Thread from Blackstar (if anyone from the Dojo remembers...). All I can say is that if my fiancee gets the chance to go here, don't challenge her to a pillow fight. Just don't unless you're good.
Pax Sleepover Party
I could make a women pillow fighting joke, but I might get lynched. XD
I don't remember the Gerbil thread actually, although what I had in mind for this was using our own IRC chat we have set up, since it's there. We could post the chat logs afterward though, that'd be cool I think.

Back to the subject at hand. I didn't think of IRC, but that seems better as it connects better as its more spontaneous.

Exactly, though obviously it requires more planning.

Well okay then, is there any particular reason and is there anything else I ought to know? Honestly just want to know so I don't go cracking a joke like that and hurting her feelings.
I will admit I'm used to being able express my somewhat blue sense of humour, but I moderate myself if I feel it's required, a heads up before hand of course is useful.

Well, since you are from the UK Borg, the term lynching holds an additional meaning over in the U.S., though she is the only one I seen who is most troubled from hearing it. It does not affect me like it does her. Chances are if was unlikely to see it I probably would not have noticed. Apart from that, I can't recall another word that would disturb her like that that isn't obvious across the world. Fortunately, the few jokes I do make are the more widely accepted ones just in case, due to the worry of upsetting someone.

Ahhh, yea that's blindingly obvious now... I remember similar issues with the Dead Island logo. Anyway, massively off topic, but good to know.
