ES yawned as the morning's light of this new world touched her eyes, irritating them even behind her eyelids. The black dress clad woman rolled onto her other side to get away from the annoying light-and sat upright with a yelp as the ground and her weight made her shoulder send an extra sharp bolt of pain through her body. Swix blinked the bleariness out of her eyes and covered the leg that was making her limp with her black dress, hoping noone had seen it. She was also inwardly cursing herself for sleeping straight through the night, she had planned to go and get a look at the body of the predator she'd killed yesterday whilst everyone else was sleeping. Oh well, it was probably for the best anyway-she didn't want her sneakiness reported to The Encampment just yet and she could go and find another one once she'd healed.
The woman amused herself by prodding the fires dying embers with an insect covered stick as she waited for the others to wake up.

Sunlight pried open Markus' eyes. A new day dawned and demanded he be awake. Propping himself up, he dragged his weary gaze over to where he left the meat. Still there.
He slowly got up, and scanned the area. Swix was awake, sending insects to a fiery doom, and the others had yet to awake from their slumber. He yawned and stretched his arms, which he promptly regretted after his metal hand tugged at the flesh of his right arm with painful clarity.
"Son of a- every time!"
He clasped his arm to his body and rubbed the area around the metal hand, doing little to soothe the pain however. He was very grateful for the hand and it had served him well so far, but lately he was beginning to think it was time for an upgrade. Cursing under his breath, Markus twisted and tweaked the hand until it began to move smoothly once more.
"Damn it" Markus groaned "Out of goose fat..."

ES looked up from her torment of innocent creatures towards where the cursing had come from, seeing the merc was awake now-and noone else. Oh well. Such a shame there wasn't something else she could do whilst they waited... come to think of it, there was one thing she could do and it just might wake up all the others.
The woman dropped the stick and the surviving creatures into their fiery doom, stood up, and held both hands in front of her mouth to make a funnel, and yelled at the top of her lungs: "HEY SPINNER, YOU STILL OUT THERE? YOU GONNA JOIN US ON THE WAY BACK TO THE ENCAMPMENT OR NOT?"
She didn't particularly want to be acting 'nice' in the morning after all. It was far too much effort.
