o_O...Err... Nope not like thet...

Wormholes... You know... Black holes that lead to other places in the universe... the Transwarp Network the Borg had in the Delta Quadrant... the thing Jump Gates and Hyperdrives make in other fictional universes...

*Slightly freaked out now*

Oh, CP, I already made Earth Spacedock my wallpaper, so you're welcome to use it too :D.

Now I just need my ships interior, some of different areas inside different Spacedocks and hub planets, maybe even the Academy, some enemy ships, possibly even battles, at least one close-up of my ship and some shots of your ship too, like you said, and I'll be 'tearing it up' even more :D.
EDIT: Also anything else I think looks pretty, cool or interesting. Heh.

Btw that one of the ship and the planet-that's my new little Nova class ship ^_^.

Well, if you have some money laying around...

In Star Trek Online players who purchase Lifetime Subscriptions have the option to choose Liberated Borg as a playable race...

"You are a former Borg Drone. You were taken from your home and assimilated into the Borg Collective, and spent a period of time as a Borg. You have taken part in the assimilation of thousands or even millions of other individuals.

Something or someone has severed your connection to the Collective. You have regained a portion of your former identity and are now trying to rebuild your life as a human. You retain some of your Borg knowledge or even cybernetic implants that assist you in your duties.

Transition back into the normal world has been difficult. You find humanoid emotions difficult to understand, and even your own impulses are strange to you. Your implants may make other beings fear you as they fear the Borg. Without the Collective to depend upon, you must find your own way in the galaxy"

No worries mate.

Buut, if you really wanted you some Borg, I happen to know spending a lot of time with them can cause some... cosmetic changes. :D

Swix

Aug 13 2012, 04:27 PM

3kul

Aug 13 2012, 08:13 AM

I have to admit, you both make it sound like so much fun that I'm really tempted to join you! Unfortunately being a teacher doesn't leave me with very much time for games at all, not to mention my unfriendly timezone of GMT+10...
... Err, actually 3kul, considering the times me and CP meet up in our respective timezones, at GMT+10 yours is probably the most friendly out of the three. Because that would be about 4:30pm your time, and we'll often sticl around for 3-4, sometimes 5 (occasionally even 6) hours, though not all of them necessarily on STO of course.

So that would be from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at least, up to a rare 10:30pm, to catch us on together ;).

Soooo, basically what I'm saying is, come and join the fun! :D.
If only I had so much free time! Perhaps I should have elaborated a bit more - teaching is pretty demanding, if it's not a weekend my day basically looks like this:

8:45 - 3:15 = school
4:00~5:00 = get home (varies depending on whether or not I have a meeting/detention/professional development)
4:00~5:00 - 6:00 = plan lessons, mark tests, etc
6:00 - 7:00 = dinner (sometimes I cook, sometimes my partner does and sometimes we go out - the third option can sometimes take longer than this)
7:00 - 7:30 = free time to watch something (most recently Death Note) with my partner
7:30 - 8:00 = more planning lessons and other teacher-ly duties
8:00 - 9:00 = language practice, alternating between Japanese (brushing up my skills) and Chinese (learning from scratch!)
9:00 - 10:00 = free time to do whatever, usually browse the internet
10:00~10:30 = go to bed!

I enjoy teaching, but it basically makes it impossible for me to play any games. When I play games I like to be able to spend a lot of time on them, if it's not a casual game I find it hard to limit my play time. Serious games usually have to wait until the holidays, and then I have enough time to focus on one, maybe two games.

@3kul (since I'm on the phone). Well, alsight then XD. Sounds like your day's nice and busy-wish mine was.

It's not so easy to get into and out of things home alone when work's in the afternoon tbh. It kind of does my head in sometimes. Plus, I can only potentially be on that long because I get up so ridiculously early in the morning.

I think I'll do better rationing out my free day hours *starts cuting into segments*

Enjoy the more pretty pics though! ;)

*comes back from last mission with implants*

... I don't think that last one went so well... someone get these things out before they-*faints*

Also... you probably could actually play that. Put it in your chars bio or something ^_^.

EDIT: Oh yeah, just one more thing before I forget. My in-game Mail address is Swix@ladydragonfury. For when you give it a go ;).
