Vacations
I may or may not be able to get online for about a week, as I am traveling to America on a trip.

Not a vacation as such, more an apology in advance-I've picked up a cold of some description so if I'm a bit slow in replying to things I've probably fallen to sleep in the process (kind of like I feel like doing right now).
That or the zombie apocalypse is starting with me and the virus has taken over my brain XD.

Ah, the turbulent winter break. Though I had additional time in the absence of school, the most I could do was all the towering work, chores, and my research. Fortunately yet, I have near the completion of a profile and worked out the layout for a couple species that inhabit the Pax system. So later in the week, I'll be back in the RP's.

Vacations
Well, less of an announcement of my going away and more of an explanation of where I've been and why I haven't been as active.
Sorry about that, especially as it was just when the two big RP's I was in were in full swing. I caught a virus during the holidays and it really knocked me out. I even went to the hospital just to get checked over this thing worried me that much, since it started out like no seasonal bug I've ever had before. The nurse told me it was a new virus related to the cold virus, and long story short all I could do was go home and rest, and I've only really truly recovered within the last few days. I made the mistake of thinking I was close to recovery last week and found out I really wasn't after doing something as simple as moving a mattress left me exhausted for two hours after.
So, I should be back and actually posting a bit more now

Awesome, it'll be great to have you back. If you don't mind me asking, what were the symptoms? I've had something similar sounding for almost a week now. I passed out last night from overexertion, was not very fun.
Glad you're feeling better! I know well how annoying illness can be. )<

I don't mind sharing the symptoms .
Started out as a really dry, tickly cough, which didn't seem so bad at first. Had that around Christmas/New Years and that lasted for two to three weeks. Then it turned into a forceful, chesty cough (you know, the one that won't let you breathe and sounds and feels like you're trying to force all the air out of your lungs) literally overnight (I remember waking up and feeling really rough), as well as feeling hot, and within a couple days of that only then did the cold like symptoms show themselves. The runny nose and the bunged up feeling in the head. However though I was feeling hot I didn't have a fever. Also coughed up a lot of phlegm. I remember a reduction of appetite too but I can't remember when that started or stopped
The lethargy didn't kick in until after the cough turned worse, and that was pretty bad, I was falling askeep on the sofa and once even in the bath! (Which was really not cool). Hopefully you don't have what I had Raven.
But yeah, sickness really sucks.
EDIT: Oh and I should probably also mention-everyone I came into contact with when it was 'just' a dry cough are now all sick too, and the people at work who've had it as well as me have taken between two to five weeks to recover.
A 'normal' cold that i'd pick up around winter would usually only affect me for around three days-so you can see why this one was worrying me.

No, I definitely don't have what you have. Mine started with the lethargy a couple days before the other symptoms hit. The other symptoms were severe headaches, fatigue and dizzyness, shortness of breath and aches and pains in joints and muscles. Somewhat bad, though, simply because the pain caused by it was pretty constant and I can't take pain killers. The combination is was least favourite part, though. The headaches made it so I only got an hour or so of sleep a night, which isn't very conductive to repairing ones self. Now that I've got rid of the headaches and can sleep properly though I should be well soon! Glad you're better, that sounds horrible! D:
