Alcohol has a pretty bad effect on me. It turns me from a closet kink-queen into a drunken slut. Not exactly the kind of person I want to be. xD;; I tend to wax philosophy when I'm tired, so basically near the end of every party when people are all drunk anyway and doing it themselves. :P

Oh god, I know that. I accidentally stay up all night doing that far too often. It's the same with books, too. Just one more chapter, just one more chapter... oh and Pokémon. Just one more level for that, though. ;) Addictive things are horribly addictive, aren't they? :P

Yup, yup they definitely are.

Devil Survival I played nearly two days straight through going 'just one more demon, just one more demon and then I'll put it down.

DayZ is 'just one more playthrough *half an hour later after a horrible death of some sort-usually zombies, mostly my fault * Just one more playthrough'. (Damn you Yahtzee for reviewing this and making me want to play it again XD)

It's always just one more... something, huh? ;).

Just for fun:

Overview of Swix's DayZ deaths:

Plummets to death from top of crane due to graphical glitch induced misstep=not my fault

Beaten to death by door and window glitching zombies=not my fault

Getting shot by another player and then bleeding out=not my fault

Getting cornered by randomly exploring zombies in houses without any weapons-twice=my fault

Running into a group of zombies in coastal city and not noticing the sneaky one that came up behind me until it had clubbed me over the head=my fault.

Trying to take on the big cities with only an axe and then desperately sprinting from house to house just to find enough food and drink to get to the next house intermittently passing out due to not reacting fast enough to zombie attacks=my fault

Setting off into the middle of the wilderness with no means of navigation with only an axe and dying of hunger and thirst at the top of a mountain plain=my fault.

Drowning after trying to swim out to an island=my fault

Finding a pistol and rushing out into the street to test it only to realise it had no ammo=my fault

Accidentally setting off the shotgun and then trapping myself in panic=my fault

I haven't been keeping up with gaming news much. What's DayZ? The last zombie game I heard about was the one for the WiiU. Oh god, I hate glitches. Dead Island was such a disappointment because of them. ):

Fun fact, I refuse to drink after I found out what I'm like drunk. :/
That and it makes me ill anyway, and not in the usual hangover way. I think I have my dad's allergic reactions to alcohol.

DayZ was originally a mod for Arma 2, a zombie survival mod and survival in it's truest sense. However it's now getting a standalone release which I believe will use Arma 3's engine. And hopefully will be less buggy. :P

I hope they do make sure the standalone one is less buggy, the only reason that I fell off that crane was because the floor looked like it extended further than it actually did.

DayZ is bloody brilliant apart from those few glitches. You actually have to find food, water, first aid, that sort of thing as well as dealing with zombies by avoiding them, being quiet and sneaky, or hacking them to bits. Obviously from my earlier example loud noises have a tendency to attract them so guns are usually something of a mixed blessing.. You can even throw rubbish like tin cans for distractions. I still haven't figured out how to refill the water bottles though XD.

The axe's usually the better thing for taking out zombies once you've figured out how to use it. Still have to watch out for other survivors though, they're the real threat. Let me give you an example. Today I got chased around by a lot of zombies, eventually climbed up this uber high ladder that went up the side of an industrial chimney of some sort. Hacked the two that followed me up, then got bored waiting for the others to go away so went down there and hacked them up too. Bandages and food afterwards and I was feeling pretty good. ... Then I got shot in the back about six times by another survivor with a pistol. Mind you I have a feeling that that was my fault too as that guy looked like the other survivor I'd ran into earlier with a horde of zombies behind me, who was running the opposite way with a couple of zombies behind him. Probably didn't appreciate me bringing half the town down on him XD.

So yeah, DayZ is fun but unforgiving. The longest I've survived in it is about an hour. If you get killed you have to start all over again with the starter equipment.

If you guys ever wanna play with me on it I'd be happy to join you :D.

Man, that sounds AWESOME! Unfortunately I have a crappy little netbook at the moment that can barely play browser games. Hopefully I'll be getting a new laptop over the next few months, though. I'll definitely take you up on that offer then, Swix!

And Borg, I did something similar. I both won't and can't really drink any more. I stopped simply because I didn't like my reaction to it, then had a pint a few months later after I started having kidney problems.

Within an hour I felt like I was going to die. It was horrible! After not drinking for awhile I also realised how weird it is that people put up with hangovers and stuff. They're horrible. Plus, did you know if you start drinking alcohol before 21 it can still damage your brain since it's still developing? Man, imagine how smart I could be if I'd never drank when I was a teenager. Or at least emotionally well developed. :P

I admit, it can be fun etc., but it's done to excess. My brother's friend almost died because of liver failure... he's 25. That's just wrong man.

Well, my desktop died. Sadly, the videocard didn't make it. I should get one in a week, but now I can't play any videogames. It is a sad day.

Thanks. :) Fingers crossed eh?

In other news, I think I'm going to have to accept the fact that I may need to curb my murderous tenancies when I eventually find a place of my own and deal with... room mates. *shudder*.

Well that or invest in a stronger straight jacket.

Don't worry Borg, having room mates isn't as bad as it sounds.

Gods damn crazy people on the bus :S

Just linking Bee & Puppycat in case you guys here haven't seen it, and also the Kickstarter campaign for it, which has met it's main goal, and it almost over.

Oh, also I've been around with Code Academy in my latest efforts to do coding stuff. And less recently, taking driving lessons. I ought to practice driving a bit more, and hopefully soon I'll b getting my license.
