Pax Gaming Event

Hiya gang!

So Borg talked to Swix. Swix talked to me! Anyway, a few of us are thinking about a gaming session for all of us here at Pax. Current talks are pointing towards Terraria. Is this something we can all do? I know for sure that I can host the game from my computer.

Anyway, also, of less consequence do we all have mics? It would be great to talk during this thing should it happens. Maybe even record it for prosperity!

I have a mic and I think recording would be brilliant. I can use the built in recording with my Nvidia card unless you had another plan CP?

I'm cool with Terraria. Do any of you own/play Civ 5 at all? I'd LOVE to do a big game of that, I don't get to play that multiplayer very often. There will be other games I have (some of which I could, *ahem*, get to you guys if you don't own it) so I'll make a list.

EDIT: For me, the week coming up would be the best time for me to do this if we end up playing late at night. I've got a house to myself and so if I'm nattering way late at night it's not a problem, when I'm in student dorms the week after doing so may get me some foul looks in the morning.

I can't do Monday, or Wednesday during the day as I have previous commitments. I'll also be meeting up with some rarely seen friends again one more time before uni, but I dunno when exactly so that doesn't help. I'll try and get stuff nailed down soon if we do plan for this week.

I've got Terraria, and a mic too, so there's no problems with those with me. I'm free most of the daytime, as I work in the afternoons however. I'll be free Monday and Wednesday most of the day, and Thursday I believe but later, Friday and the weekends themselves however are currently up in the air a lot so I'll likely not know if I even can come online on those days until a day or so before.

But I would still love to play a game with everyone!

I don't have Civ 5 though I'm afraid Borg :S.

I do have DayZ (the mod) though! XD.... Quite frankly, I'm not buying into the Alpha Standalone at least until they introduce the vehicles.

So it currently sounds like... Thursday? Maybe?

I could be online all week at your guys 5 Am till about 9 am. I know that would likely work for Swix, but I don't know if Borg wants to get up that early. It would still be a fair playing session if it works though.

What do the other people who haven't said anything think?

I can't guarantee that I'll be awake at 5am, as my sleeping has been a bit all over the place lately and I want to get some sort of routine in place again. I should be with you an hour or so at least however.

We need to do that again! Hopefully at a more EU friendly time, I understand this poses issues however.

Seriously though, I'd love to do something like this regularly.

I have the recording on my PC, when it's no longer during my internets bandwidth monitoring period I'll start to upload it. I suggest that when you edit it CP, you make a highlights reel of sorts, there is a lot of gold in there but there's also a fair bit of downtime. XD

So did Borg get the video of our Terraria exploits to CP? I know everyone's busy and I'm just curious how far along it's gotten ^_^
