((Across the universes collected in the Amalgamation, several people awoke to find their heads groggy, and a paper note nearby. These were people of a very specific type. Specialists. People renowned by a private few, as they were known to be able to get a job done at any cost. As they regained there senses, and found the note, it would appear all of them had a new job to do...))

Pax2

Tom (hence forth Old Tom) Sat at his table, staring at the letter. Pictured was the energy crystal he needed to fix his leg permanently. However, he'd have to go on some treasure hunt to retrieve some Scarf. He sipped his water and took a few more of his pills. This trip would not be easy - but he had been working on something that could help. A backpack that he could charge up port-ably, and extend his leg's range by some 8 hours. It was heavy, but it would be necessary. To took another sip of his water, got up, put on the battery pack and shoulder bag with a few essentials, and headed out.

Pax Prime

Tom (henceforth Young Tom) stared at the letter. How dare anyone take it! That Knife was his only link to his homeworld - his family - he'd ever have, and someone dare steal it and blackmail him with it. He would find them, and once he had their prize and therefore his prize, he would see them ended. So with much haste he packed up essentials - practically an arsenal thanks to zero-space pockets, grabbed his plasma rifle and his Nirasima Special blade, and headed out to the meeting place.

Universe ???

Adjusting his sable-dyed cloak as he gleamed over the foreboding letter, Svalinn sighed gravely at the notion it confirmed. All those years trying to keep that amber necklace safe deemed to be worth naught if he couldn't retrieve it back. "All for this wretched scarf? ... Some offer this is," he soon growled under his breath, draping his face with a dull gray mask as thought over what felt required for the time; attaching hidden pouches against the dark blue interior clothing while glancing over at a bag near by. Not fond of this 'trip,' he snatched that as well upon heading out.

As the strange group of chosen individuals neared the destination marked on their map, they would all find the surroundings rather... bleak. In this particular universe the undead ruled, and caution was nessesary at all times. Luckily they wouldn't find too much trouble getting where they needed to be.

Once there, regardless of how they all interacted with each other, the team of specialists would become aware someone else had already gotten there first. A woman in a grey jacket and skirt tugged furiously on the extremely rusty doors of what appeared to be some kind of bomb shelter. It was the only thing around.

"COME ON YOU RUSTY SON OF A *****! OPEN UP GODDAMN YOU! I KNOW THIS IS WHERE I'M SUPPOSED TO-"

The woman froze and turned around, hearing the others approach. She turned and her demenor did a complete 180 out of the blue.

"Oh hello! You must be the rest of my team? The note said I would be working with others." She said, wiping "sweat" from her brow that left streaks of rust across hee forehead. They quickly dissappeared. "I'm Agatha Grey. I formally vote myself leader of this operation!"

She partially liquified, swirling around the others with great speed to size them up. She stared at the two Toms, then returned to her position by the door.

"You brought your Dad? Super cool dude." She said sarcastically, giving them a pitiful look. "And the guy in the mask. Is there some rule there always has to be at least one person in a mask?"

An awkward pause.

"Oh come on. Am I stuck on the grump team or something? What's wrong with all of you?"

Young Tom gawked. The old man sure enough could be his father - but his father had died years ago. It was then that Tom reminded himself that as far as anyone on Earth knew, he too was dead, yet here he was.

The Older Tom cleared it up though. "Unless I'm much mistaken, that is not my son, but rather the me I saw in my mirror every morning some thirty years ago. That Mad God won't like it if he hears we're playing with Time travel again."

He then turned to Agatha. "Grey was it. I wouldn't be to hasty to play with doors or declare leaders just yet. I say we wait and see who else joins this little misadventure of ours. Anyways, names. My name is Tom Johnson, former leader of the Knights of Insanity, but I suppose to keep things easy, you can call me Old Man." He glanced over to young Tom and spoke before the young man could reply "And no, I can't tell you any of that. You know how that God you serve would feel about that."

Young Tom was taken aback...this guy had stopped the question right before it exited his mouth...well if it was an older him that would make sense, but damn. "Well, Good to meet you Old Man - though I was hoping I wouldn't turn out that ugly. LIkewise I'm also Tom Johnson, and I currently am Leader of the Knights...though Sarge may be easier considering circumstances."

The next person to arrive didn't even walk over there, she just sort of popped out of a tear in reality that hadn't existed before, and didn't exist anymore the second she exited it. The woman was wearing a red dress, and had silky smooth dark brown hair that ran just past her shoulders... and also wasn't just dark brown on closer inspection. The woman also wore a patterned wolf mask and underneath that the eyes could be seen as pools of pure black.

"So... this is the 'team' I'm being forced to work with to get something back that should never have been taken from me in the first place" she said, her voice thick with barely held back rage. Clearly it was taking all her willpower for her to 'not' unleash her full force even on innocents.

Aggie stares at the two Toms while they speak, and some time after. She sticks her pinky in her ear and wiggles it.

"Yeeeah.... Didn't catch any of that. Are you two strong guys gonna help me lift this door or-" Aggie stopped, as Felicia appeared. The masked woman immediately seemed so much more interesting than the other members of the so called "team". She liquified again and swished over.

"Mask huh? You'll fit right in!" The Goo said. She was strangely circling the masked woman, faster and faster. "It's like I said, there's always at least one, now we have two! And speaking of two, I'm starting to suspect those two might not be just father and son. Isn't that a time paradox? Weird. The circumstances that brought us together. This whole mess of- SURPRISE!"

The slime lunged forward with a splash, attempting to bear hug the mysterious woman. Everyone here seemed to have secrets, and that bothered her. One by one she was determined to figure them all out, starting with the ornate wolf-girl. Should her lunge succeed, Aggie aimed to spread out as quickly as she could to coat the woman in slime, and most importantly, peek behind that mask.

Glaring at the Goo creature, Felicia, being who she was, was not only already acutely aware of what Aggie was but also what she could do. At the fast swirling, she just stood there and listened, as though she was overwhelmed by all the sudden sentences...

However, at the cry of 'surprise!' she immediately sank into a shadow portal beneath her, leaving Aggie with empty space where she used to be.

Twitching, the masked woman then reappeared, rising out of the ground elsewhere... and also appeared to be on purple arcfire when she rose, the flames from the shadow realms burning eerily.

"Try that again and I will just set myself on fire when you come anywhere near me instead of sparing your pathetic life, slime" she said, pushed even further to breaking purely by that act of violating her personal space and what she saw as attempting to violate her mind and memories.

Aggie stared at the burning woman, dusty and emotionally hurt.

"What the heck lady..." She pouted. "I just wanted to get to know you! It's a simple hug, the most effective way for my species to share information! There's absolutely nothing wrong with it."

She crossed her arms and stated at the dirt, then stood up and gave Felicia a dismassive wave. "Fine. Be that way if you want. But I still need everyone's help with this door."

If Aggie was to look around, she see Sarge in an attack position, his Nirasema special pulled out and ready to defend. However, the more surprising reaction came when everyone heard a deep belly laugh from the Old Man.

"Oh Aggie Grey you never did change! And Felicia! How nice to see you again! Man if that god finds out about this bit of Time travel he's going to have both of my hides!"

Quietly observing the interactions of the 'team' brought together from who knows where, Svalinn analyzed the methodology and techniques he could interpret from them whilst on the 'sidelines.' Which, being the calculative sort of person through instinct, needed to understand them so without any lively hugs.

Two humans, one apparently old and young versions of the same man of scaled attitudes; a soul-less goo-creature a little too chaotic for comfort; and ... a 'dark' woman of high magical caliber... What a diverse group this is...

With no progress to the bunker thus far, he stepped forth towards it. "If the composition is nothing more than aged old steel, then this trick should be suffice," the stranger spoke aloud. He laid out-stretched gloved hand at a the rusty doors, glowing bright blue as the air around the metal rapidly cooled down, crystallizing the side of the entrance in thick layer of ice. "Re-aligning the thermal energy flowing through it into more a 'stationary' state followed by a solid blow..."

Svalinn pulled back a leg as he mumbled, throwing the force at the doors center in an amplified kick. The combined effort should shatter or bend the metal ajar to allow the group to enter inside the bunker.

Thorn sat there for a while after awakening, staring at the picture... Though then set it and the note in her pocket...
'Scarf of the Charmer eh? How about they get dagger of sssstabbing inssstead?' The Floran thought with a hiss as she got up, gathered her supplies and weapons, which was also like an arsenal thanks to zero-space pockets... And started walking, following the map.

She was determined to get her coon-kin together again, even if she had to work alongside her enemies or kill to do it.

<hr />
Arriving at this 'Wasteland', the place really did live up to it's name... She wasn't fond of how bleak it was, as she was more of an ambush predator in nature... But that didn't stop the Floran from plowing through any of the undead she came across when travelling to her destination, it was almost as if this was a casual thing for her to do due to how nonchalant she was.

Eventually she came across the group, a small smile appearing on her face as she recognized some faces... And mask. "Hey Aggie&#33; Hey Felicia&#33;" The Floran called with a wave, though then looked to the Toms. "And... Hi... Tom and... Older Tom?.." The perplexed Floran cheeped, looking very confused by the sight.

Aggie (literally) shrunk a bit. Unfortunately it seemed she was outnumbered by the grump-patrol, their disapproving glances burning into her as much as Felicia's arc fire would. At least until Old Tom's chuckle and statement that she hadn't changed a bit. "Y-You too, Old Guy?" She said, thankful it seemed she actually had an ally here.

The... thing that was not Felicia, but wore a mask like her, was trying some sort of cold magic on the door so the Goo instinctively pulled away and went to inspect her surroundings a bit. The zombies here were remarkable sources of food for her, and she had eaten quite a few on the way over. She was thinking about chasing down another one when it seemed to wander in over the horizon. Green skin... check. Flowery smell... wait.

"T-THORN?" Aggie exclaimed, so happy to see her friend, she had forgotten to call the Floran by her nickname. The Goo rushed over and tackled her, liquifying and wrapping her up, giving the appearance of a much larger Aggie hugging herself. She paired their nervous systems and sent a recap of how scary Felicia was, and how maybe the old guy might be cool, then receded, standing in front of the Floran so she could wrap her arms around her and give her a real hug.

"Oh no sprout..." Aggie began looking worried as she sensed the general idea of Thorn's recent thoughts. "Don't tell me the grump brigade claimed your mood too..."

SMASH&#33;

Suddenly, Svallin kicked the frozen door, causing it to collapse into shards that fell into the dark below. A massive eruption of dust and cobwebs burst out from the now open bomb shelter, then began to settle on the little group of heroes gathered around it. Inside, it seemed to go down deep enough that the angle of sunlight revealed no bottom- but there was a rusty set of iron rungs serving as a ladder that seemed to go down all the way into the darkness.

"Well... Who's first?" Aggie eventually asked.

"I'll do it" Felicia said after a long sigh, before she walked over and jumped down the hole with shadow vines wrapped around her waist and four arclight orbs hovering over her head

"Let's not drag this out any longer than," Svalinn muttered as he followed after Felicia, carefully moving as to not shatter the weakened iron rungs he descended down from.
