In the dark of the night on Ana, an effort of recapture had been drawn to its final phase as the pieces began to fall into place. A copper dragoness by the name of 'Aes' was heard to been brought over to the Dragon Knights Tower from a skilled informant, which both of the restless beings that laid in wait further out in the forest a distance from the target in question. Who unfortunately started to quarrel with each other over the plans given by their orchestrator.

The giant humanoid of strange composition glared at the more regular size person standing on his shoulder. "Why you in charge? Little woman would be 'quashed if not told not to," the cyclops grumbled, the large eye he held varied in color, reflecting back the strange garments the accomplice wore. Which despite his judgment of her seemed considerably low in worth, she with enhancements given proved a greater nuisance in their recent sparring matches than even that 'annoying butterfly.'

"Tartalo strong... Tartalo smash..."

"So you say, big guy. So you say..." she trailed off, refitting the plague mask on her face so it and the other bits of the disguise stayed in place. Dressing up as the offender who rallied with Aes during trial run in the Encampment helped eased the workload he would otherwise had done. Though, dealing with a statue of ugly surely dipped her side in the worse end of the deal, no matter the benefits she gained while under this mission. "Just follow orders as instructed, 'Tart, and you'll have more than enough to smash when we attack."

Casually stabbing a poison laced dagger into the upper arm of the cyclops, she leaped off to the grassy ground below, both the concoction and metal bore resilience to the 'boiling' ichor beneath the monster. "I'll work on relaying back to master, so go storm off with your hissy-fit," she sighed, flicking her hand to the direction where the Tower laid, instilling the lumbering Tartalo to plod over there as demanded.

"Now..." whispering out as she procured a silver pocket watch, popping it open to check the time and the interior contents hidden inside the marvelous mechanism. "...Soon they shall fear that their nightmares will be real."

On the other side where the currently-in-progress Tower laid, it's 'prisoner' had been under constant watch at all times being regarded more as a young victim caught in the cross-fire of it all. The Knights that dwelt within cycled through their shifts after so long to prevent fatigue as they expected an attack to arrive day by now. Currently, the founder who burdened herself with the guilt of defeating Aes took to guarding the dragoness while her students slept.

However, their time waiting finally ended. Slowly approaching from the woods, echoes of the cylcops's frustration cried out to the stone walls ahead of himself, the audible bursts of trees shattered in the path of destruction as he broke through the natural barrier in his stride.

A slumbering Dragon Knight awoken to the sounds in the distance as he fumbled from his bed. The sleepy-eyed 'charizard' glared at the tired limbs that refused to bend easily from exhaustion as he brought himself out to seek what the source of the noise was.

Saphira was currently in her room, curled up and sleeping...and even nibbling on the tip of her tail, drooling slightly.Even with the dragon knight training, she was first a child, secondly a woman, and only thirdly she was a dragon knight, or at least, that's what she thinks to herself.
"tasty...." she said, nibbling a bit harder, and then felt a small amount of pain: After all, her teeth were more developed than it was in her early days.Such slight pain made her wake up immediatally...and afterwards, she was nearly embarassed to death as she noticed she was suckling her tail tip, quickly getting up...and afterwards, she heard the sounds at a distance, and instead of going out, she'd slither to the closest window to try to peek on the location of the enemies. After all, for herself at least, it would be advantageous to look over the landscape at such height: a broader vision, smaller chance of an ambush, and unless the enemy was either invisible, or actively avoiding sight, it was the better option.

Up on the first floor, watching over Aes-the young victim of the conflict-was the founder of the order of Dragon Knights Mina. The woman was clad in blue armour as she always was, with the blue tattoo on one side of her face showing and the astral blade called Hypnerotomachia over her back. The Dragon Knight marched over to the windows as she heard the crashing of something large through the trees, to see what she could see. Once the thing had gotten too close... It would come across the first of their traps.

Mina had been quite busy-the first was an electrical perimeter set around the Tower, that would also set off an alarm inside.

"GRAHHHH!"

Roaring in frustration rather than agony, the stubborn cyclops plodded through the first barrier which intended to stop his march to the tower. The arcing of electricity against the leathery hide left smoldering patches on the raggedy garments he wore, though hardly much in terms of laggardness in the heavy steps taken. A 'light touch' wouldn't dissuade the attacker with the first of traps.

'Quite the stubborn one' Mina thought as she heard the electricity go off, and watched the large intruder power through it. Usually that would dissuade most things from approaching... Next barrier would not be so 'nice' , this one would send a wall of flame around the Tower, though further in. The one after that was a wall of ice that would cover even the top of the Tower.

The Dragon Knight simply watched calmly from where she stood as the alarms sounded throughput the Tower.

Saphira was nearly freaking out as she saw the barrier of electricity being practically ignored by the cyclops...and began to slither in the tower, in search for the tower mistress, Mina. She wanted some advice on what to do right now...especially against such tough opponent.

Sethre passed by the Diamond Naga on his way to check up on Aes, having picked up the pace when hearing the further noise brought out by the alarms. "Something definitely get it," he grumbled under breath.

Saphira, decided to follow Sethre-she was considering going over there, believing that Mina would fight against that giant, rather than go to Aes, but...decided that Mina probably wouldn't need her assistance, and would just get in her way. But, at the same time she couldn't help but have a bad feeling about the Aes room...as if something terrible is about to happen.

Mina stood by the normal sized window watching the being outside batter the defences as it approached, stolid and calm as she stood there. "Greetings my students" she said without even turning around "I hope you have rested well. We appear to have company"

Skin beginning to blister against the scorching flames raking across the large humanoid, the Cyclops had shut his eye as he barreled through. His stamped broke past the licking layers of fire in the blind charge. The determined behemoth refused to balk at these defensive measures.

Tartalo slammed both hammy fists against the wall of ice in a brutal fashion. The numbness felt from ignorance of pain and the effects of the cold, trying to chip away the barrier.

The Dragon Knight watched as the cyclops barrelled through even the fire before starting to chip away at the last barrier-the ice had put there as a last resort to slow any intruders down to give the defenders some time to prepare. Even so, he was causing a fair amount of damage in a short period of time. "He will be through soon. We must prepare for a breach"

"He will be through soon. We must prepare for a breach"

"Indeed..." he muttered, flexing his wings in a few slow flaps to prepare themselves. Even becoming a Dragon Knight not long ago, he greatly valued Mina's experience in times like this. "Charge straight down on your orders, Mina-Or see if the cyclops will get stuck in the 'jungle' below?"

Saphira was staring at the cyclops, thinking deeply."...why can't we just rain fire breaths and such from the window? That thing looks far from mobile enough to hurt us while we fly and if we fight him indoors,I'm...not sure if we could afford taking a punch from a monster who practically ignored all of our barriers..." She said, rubbing the back of her head.

"I don't like opposing you, Mina, but I think we'd better try to find a way to slow him down while preparing for an evacuation so we don't suffer any losses...hmm..." she added-even if she valued Mina's experiences, she could not help but feel nervous-since all of the tower's defences weren't able to do more than just slight scars on that monster.
