"Well. If the place burns down, we lose our entire immortal population?!" He hung on to her shoulder. The wolves were really determined not to give up the chase. "Don't you still have the brush?! Can't you swipe them onto our side or something?!"

"No CP. I mean, sure I could change them into something else but then we'd have corrupted whatever-that-was chasing us instead, and like I said before the brush won't work on the corruption because it's me. Besides, I have to steer" she said, but instead tossed the brush back up to him "You're facing the right way, you think of something to slow them down. You've always been a pain in my side when you needed to before, do it again"
She let out a long sigh however. It seemed... concerned. "If they are all there, I want to check on my brother. Nero was always the glue that held me and Raph together... He's probably in more trouble than he's letting on to anyone else"

"Corrupted whatever-that-was? Uh..." He fumbled with the brush in hand. He carefully moved to the back of the galloping steed, staring at the wolves. Readying the brush, he swiped over the pack of wild canines. Ice. Solid ice, a wall of it, aiming to freeze them solid in place and hold them indefinitely. He only hoped he got them all included with all the bouncing the horse was doing.
"Okay... we'll go find Nero. He should still be at the H&H..."

The Corrupted Forest
The swipe of unmelting ice worked rather well. The entire pack was caught up in the suddenly appearing ice block, their momentum halted as they were held by the unmelting water.
And just in time too, as the small group just then burst out of the darkness into the light of unaffected nature right then, between the wild and The Encampment. It would only take a few minutes now at this speed for them to reach the settlement and the tavern proper.

Tom actually overheard Russel's comment to Mitsu, but before he could ask "Get caught up in what exactly?" his attention was drawn elsewhere.
That somewhere else is Zeredah. Tom groaned a bit - this was quickly turning to Uncle Tom's Immortal Day-care.
"Yes, that is probably hunger. You can ask the barkeep if he has any food. Not sure he'll have Pizza though."

The Encampment
Grog looked quizzically at the pretty rocks as he spotted and delicately picked up another.
"Rocks are eggys? What about Rock Grog sleeps on, that eggy too?"

Damian nodded to the much, much taller man. "Yes, these rocks are Easter eggies. See how colorful they are?" He pointed to the patterns on the eggs. "Rocks don't have patterns like these." He then picked up a plain, gray rock off the ground and pointed to it. "Are these the kind of rocks you sleep on, Grog?"

The H and H
Zeredah had a rather bright smile as Tom suggested asking for food at the bar. Not even the admonition that they might not have pizza seemed to sway it. "That's okay! Anything will do! I can't wait to experience what this is like!" She rushed off to the bar to do just that.
Meanwhile Russel just sat by Mitsuko wondering if he could do something to help. The words that what he'd said was comforting to her felt like someone had just stabbed a spear through his heart. Metaphorically and emotionally of course. Dumbfounded for the moment, Russel took a swig of his drink, put it down, used his one good hand to squeeze hers and then moved as far away as he could from them all. Contemplating something in the corner.
Tala opened the door then for the Wyrm and Gravitia, the latter of which floated in like someone who wasn't quite there. Whilst the reptilian coiled around a table all by itself Gravitia skipped around it airily.
Tala went over to Tom "Well. The snake-thing is Ouroborous and the other kne is Gravitia. He was curled around his altar and she was... trying to play the drums. The drums were of a painting on the wall" the werewolf flattened her ears as she glanced at them. "... I had to convince Gravitia that the dream she thought she was in was mine and I wanted her to come over here. Seemed to work-at least for now"

The unicorn crossed through into the threshold of The Encampment, the mythical equine easily dodging surprised passers by as the red eyed lady riding it surprised herself by instinctively yelling 'Sorry!' after each near miss of the townsfolk. If they knew who was in that body however, C had no doubt that they would have tried to unseat her on purpose, never mind that she was carrying a man clearly in some distress. Distress she'd caused-She shook her head. She didn't have time for this new emotion of regret right now.
The unicorn passed by the three guards, not stopping, but whinnying in distress as it passed and giving it that extra spurt of speed to the H and H's door. The sudden pull backwards to make it stop made the beast rear in protest, only to calm down once it noticed the corruption wasn't following them anymore.
The Collector in a mortal body dismounted and pushed open the doors with all the urgency any human in distress would make, standing there in her bloodsoaked and torn trousers whilst her windswept and messy hair from riding floated about in the breeze.
"Anyone in here able to help? Not help me I mean, I wouldn't expect that, but still! Help-help him" she pointed behind her at the slumped Blackfoot that the black unicorn had just brought over as close as possible, almost to illustrate the fact. "If I pull him off by myself he'll fall..." More concern. Weird

Cp still clung on to Abi's shoulder, entering the bar with her. It was amusing watching her apologize to everyone, in that same sultry voice she used while turning people into slugs and dropping them in the salt. This was an odd day.
"Tom? You're still here?" CP poked fun at him, as he entered the area riding on a black Unicorn after rescuing Evil Herself, Blackfoot, and the celestial life Goddess. All while Tom played babysitter. "Shiri was right behind us. She should be outside. But why again are we stuffing all the God's, now able to be injured, in a single room?"
He let Tom's strategic mind chew on that one. He waved to Zeredah, thinking Swix had come to help them out.
"Abi, we can sit in that booth over there. Talk to your brother?"

Tom didn't respond to CP - or even hear him. As soon as he spotted the injured man he rushed out to help. Tom quickly had him inside and sitting down near Mitsu.
He then turned to new woman. "C, I presume? Your eyes are still red - or at least the iris's still are. Better than your brother and Ariel at least, and far better than Poor Mitsu. Doesn't answer who he is." Tom finished, pointing to Blackfoot, who groaned in the corner.

Abi frowned, lightly chewing her lip at hearing that her brother-and Ariel-were not doing so well. She glanced around the currently crazy room to see if she could spot them as she listened to Tom. Ariel and the one called Mitsu were fairly easy to spot, just because of their condition. Though C had to stare to realise that Ariel had somehow become very old indeed. "Yes. It is... What happened to my brother?" she looked at CP "It rather depends on what condition Nero is in. If he can't move I'll just have to stand with him" then back to Tom "That is Blackfoot. He made a deal with me two years ago. Until those eggs he's been an, well, that big rock monster that you have no doubt seen. He is a gargoyle.... I could not leave him in my forest in that state" that was regret and compassion in that voice that never had them before "he would not have survived"
Whilst they were trying to sort everything out in the H and H, not the wolves, but the corruption itself started oozing from the forest in the direction of The Encampment, fast approaching as it affected all around it, darkening the ground. That wasn't the only thing to start spreading from there either. A cloud soon darkened the sky as many black birds followed the direction the corruption was spreading, the murder of crows that C had made were on their way. The Corruption itself was following the four that had fled from it.
That wasn't the biggest problem either. Cracks ran along the ground as something huge and serpentine made its way there, followed by a horse whose footprints left scorchmarks in the ground whilst it was wreathed in large and nasty flames. Behind the crows was a far larger shape as well.
The crows would surely reach the settlement first, the three far larger threats close behind them, and the Corruption crept along steadily, marring the ground with it's darkness.

The wolf followed to the H&H and was taking a breather outside of the building, tired from the mad sprint from the forest to the Encampment and through the confused crowd. She listened to the conversation going on inside, ears drooping... She knew Mitsuko wouldn't be taking this well... And from the sounds of it. the others were not taking it well either.
While the white wolf laid there in thought, enjoying the fresh air and thinking over how she'd be able to comfort Mitsuko, something... Felt off, VERY off. She lifted up a paw in confusion before putting it back down, something... Rumbling? She then sat up, ears perking up alert as she listened and looked. The wolf's heckles raised, tail held close and ears went flat against her head as she saw the darkness of the murder of crows in the sky, and saw the darkness of the ground creeping closer and closer.
Shiri ran into the Horn and Halo and made loud yelps to try and warn them, looking out of the door and back at the occupants of the building and stomping her paws in anxiety. She looked absolutely terrified.
<hr />
At the Temple, Thorn squeezed past Seianti to see... Was that... A wingless... Raph?
"Hello. You-I know you I think? You're Thorn-Dancer yes?"
Thorn awkwardly nodded. "Yesss.. Think do know... Raph?" She asks in a puzzled tone.
"Can you help me find my wings? I think they fell off. They aren't there anymore, see? But then, neither's anything else. Please help me"
First the power shut out after some meteor struck, and now she is on a quest to find an Alignments wings... It is just one of those days. Thorn stared in confusion. "Floran um, can help try find wingsss." She chirps in puzzlement, before then sending to Grathon.
~We... Maaay have a problem... Either sssomeone isss cosssplaying Raph, or... We have a winglesss Raph here. No asssk, Floran no know either.~

"There 'ya go Bessie. All brushed up. Who's a pretty girl?"
On the edges of The Encampment, a young farm girl had just finished grooming her prized dairy cow, her final chore for the afternoon. The cow happily pushed her with it's nose while she cleaned up her tools, dusting off her red flannel and jeans. "Yeah. It's you, Silly."
"Moo?" The cow suddenly snapped to focus, looking the opposite direction. Whatever there was on the edge of the farmland had it's full attention, and had made the animal quite agitated.
"What is it, Bess? You hear a-?"
A horde of nasty, twisted birds blocked out the sun, darkening the pasture. All at once, they came soaring out from over the trees, making a horrible noise. Crows? She had never seen so many, and none quite like this. Dark, glowing red eyes. Teeth in their bills. Larger and nastier than she had ever seen them before. They flew right over the farm, headed for the town.
Just as quickly as they had appeared, they were all gone. Somehow, she had escaped their wrath. It was a miracle, or... She looked around, the hair standing up on the back of her neck. It was still dark. Despite the birds moving on, and the sun shining overhead, everything was still in shadow. Stunned, she began walking towards her house, only to wince in pain with her first step. It wasn't shadow. The pasture's grass under her feet had turned black, coarse, and shred up her feet simply by walking on it.
She screamed in pain, trying to will herself toward the house. Her last refuge. A safe place to hide and think. Or... it was. Long segments of polished black marble had replaced the beams, and the roof began to lift up, twisting into horrible, aged and weathered spires of the same material. The wood began to rot, and fall off in places, leaving gaps in the walls of the farmhouse where she could see the same changes happening to the décor inside. The whole building became taller, creepier... corrupted.
"No... How could- AGGGGHHHH!" She screamed, a searing pain in her right arm overtaking her thoughts. Blood soaked her clothes as she ran, clutching the shredded limb. Bessie had bit her. Or... something that had been Bessie. Whatever it was now, with it's terrible fangs and dark, curled horns was something else entirely. She had to get away. She had to-
It was in her now. She had soaked it up from the air, the ground, the unseen forces around her. The corruption had poisoned her too, just like it had done to the house, and her beloved animal. She felt her arm swelling where it had been bit. Growing larger than the other, not to be pretty, or functional, but because the darkness within willed it to be as such. She fell to her knees, her skin turning grey and withered. Through the corners of her fading vision she saw her blonde hair go dark. She could hear it too, though it no longer had a voice. Just a horrible, searching... ringing.
"S-shut up. SHUT UP!" She yelled, rocking back and forth. The farm girl no longer had eyes. She only saw the darkness, desperate without it's master driving madness through the shadowed holes of her skull.
She covered her ears and screamed.

Zerexe slowly turned to stare at the incoming mess. The woman looked up and shouted, the others coming in close. As she waited on them, she gave two different screams, the two like her soon joined by Inabi and Zantetsu. The woman pointed, speaking quickly and loudly. "Incoming. Jobs for all of you. Inabi, go, get these little egg things. Get them quickly, bring us all two, then start making a wall of them to block off that mess. Keep one yourself. Do not let go of them, understood? They stop god powers. Xemnex, once you have one, go sky born and pepper them. Scout out what is ahead, stay high up. Aggrex, start sticking them with oil and prepare for the mess. Zantetsu, you go see what's messing up the earth. Keep careful, don't risk injury." She drew her bow, Inabi returning with a few, having dashed around quickly. As each took one, they left, leaving Zerexe with a reserve. She cut a bit of her hair and used it to tie three eggs to her arrows. She fired two in front of the crows and one through the middle, hoping to rip the corruption from them before they needed to fight, testing how effectively it could stop them. If she could rip the stuff out of them and minimize the threat, then they had a good chance, she figured.
Aggrex shoved the egg it had into tit, starting to sling oil towards the birds from the blade, aiming to catch them in it and stop the threat. Inabi dashed around the town like a strange reverse Easter bunny, snatching up every egg thing she could find and storing them in a bag. Xemnex, meanwhile, spent her time flying over them to see what was there and gathering up a mass ofmher own odd red, blue and black flames for a fight as she zipped quickly overhead. Zantetsu, being as familiar with earth as he was, dropped underground to see what was cracking the ground up. They were going to buy as much time as they could and take out whatever they could, relying on those eggs to keep them uncorrupted. It's time to do that job and get to defending.

~Tom. I've found Zerexe and some others, engaging a force of corrupted birds on the outside of town. I don't see the Collector, but her Agents seem to be incoming. As well as...~ She paused in the mental link between the various Knights of Insanity. She hadn't seen anything like that before. Some sort of darkening effect on the horizon. ~Tom... I think the Corruption is coming. The grass is turning dark, and small structures are... transforming.~
"These eggs hold that back?" She assumed. The silver Knight moved beside Zerexe, nodding at her and unsheathing her sword.
~We're using the Eggs as a wall. But if you can do some diplomacy and convince the Collector to stop the advance, that would be greatly appreciated.~
