Tom: I'm the wrong person to talk to about any sort of Magicks. Swix here is a mage. However, I have had a bind of sorts before, so I know the feeling.

Swix's genuine smile started to crack a little before she heaved a massive sigh and then shook her head. "Yes I'm a Mage-a Shadow Mage-however I'm also a retired one. I left to go home to raise my daughter where it was safer-she better be safe-we only come back for the memories and friends" The ex-Knight of Insanity and former member of the original Evil Council told them pointedly. If anything started here she wanted nothing to do with it. "Now are you going to buy a cupcake or drink or n-" Swix cut off her own sentence as CP beside her broke out into bright blue polkadots, making her giggle. "Wh-wh-what's wrong CP you catch some sort of Paxian illness? Heheh!"

Tom would start breaking out shortly after.

Unfortunately for them, it was at this point that the Oriental woman known as Abi decided to wander over to them. "Oh good you came out-" Abi exclaimed, before peering at him more closely "-are you sick? I'm pretty sure blue spots isn't normal for a human" Says a human.

Meanwhile Swix's mood had rapidly darkened and she glared at Abi with hazel eyes full of hatred.

Illunia looked at the two of them and saw the dots. "huh. interesting way to break out I guess" She stated. "uhm no thank you Lady Swix," she said with a gentle smile "i think this time i will pass perhaps in the future though. and It is nice to meet another magi of one of the different world."

Jent resumed dispensing out a few quick sales whilst Tom diffused the situation between the Guard and another newcomer to Pax. He figured the unofficial sherif just got distracted, though still left the offer open for him and the 'chu for a quick drink. "Heh," he lightly chuckled at the 'infection' emerging over the two. His wife sure enjoyed pranking her friends-Oh...

With an ear keen to the brief magic discussion, a glance alerted him of Abi's arrival at the stand. He still distrusted... Loathed? The Jentil couldn't quite separate the mortal woman entirely from her prior Alignment self. Though being a rather composed Distortionist, went to sooth his partner's animosity. A gentle hand brought itself along the Split's neck. Its calming vibrations traveled up and down as the Jentil attempted to relax her stress-as well as his own.

Tom noticed his breakouts, and gave a quick glare to Swix. He knew though this was likely temporary, but it still wasn't appreciated.

"No, Abi, just a harmless prank by a good friend."

He knew how the couple viewed Abi. It seemed he was the only one who was able to seperate this woman before him from her immortal past. How had he done that, he wondered - oh well, he's here now.

"But yes, you and Jinx both asked me to come out, so here I am. Already had to break up a few of the guards getting too heavy-handed. I told you I should have been a part of the security arrangements."

Swix sighed loudly at the feeling of the vibrations, stress almost immediately relieved. She shouldn't get so worked up. She opened her eyes to catch the glare from Tom and gave him a cheeky grin. Five minutes and the effects would wear off-she wasn't cruel. Well, anymore anyway.

"Oh" Abi said, eyeing the pair from the side of her face before looking. "Don't have to tell me that, the guards are incompetent. Who's your new friend anyway?"

"Hmm? myself?" The elf watched and looked at the others seeing the difference in the area. " I'm Illunia of Lunali.. though i guess that doesn't really matter here" She shrugged. "I'm here now, wherever here is" Illunia shrugged a bit. "a pleasure to meet you miss," she said giving a curtsey of her dress her hand touching her sword not really a threat but an unspoken promise that she would defend if the need arose.

Zerexe dropped out of the sky, landing on one hand near Tom and co. as she dispersed the force of the landing into the ground. With a few slides of her hand, the damaged ground returned to normal with yellow sparks. "Wards are up. No wildlife will be getting in today. I made sure of it."

She glanced over at the others, studying the unfamiliar faces, with extra confusion, and no hidden amount of frustration, at the sight of the distortionist. Unconsciously, lightning crackled along her exposed skin, visible due to her sheer hatred of clothing. She was, as normal, wearing little more than a sleeveless, thin, low cut top that stopped just at the bottom of her ribs, and the smallest shorts she could get away with. Even being given clothes that felt more like her hadn't made her hate them less. She refused to wear shoes at all either. "Who are you? You smell like people I know, but not the same."

Abi watched Illunias touch of her sword with significantly more interest than when when she curtsied, before sighing deeply. "Whatever" She said, particularly offhandedly before then looking around and looking rather lost. "So we just, wander around here and do our best to have fun, right?"

Meanwhile, Swix looked towards Zerexe and raised a brow at her. "Oh hey, it's the self proclaimed guardian of the Encampment who thought trying to intimidate people she doesn't know was a good idea. I'm Swix, and I was here before most of you even showed up on Pax. Who are these other people you're referring to anyway?".

The unspoken action offered no threat to the Jentil. He that beings with connections to objects, much like the mental link Jent himself held with his locket. Sometimes unconscious decisions to either to awaken the target in question, or relay something private between the two linked together. Though Zerexe's sudden arrival thrown the Distortionist into a more introspective matter.

"Jent," he calmly stated, sensing the tension already in the Split. "Likewise as she stated... And what do you mean anyways?"

Just as his words rode past the air, it suddenly clicked on him. There wasn't only one Jentil in Pax... And given dimensional traveling, neither a single 'Swix' in Pax. "Oh right-Did you mean Felicia and Drausus?"

"Yes." she stated, cracking her shoulders as she alchemized some tea and sipped it. "The very two. You smell like them, but different. It's always so strange having people smell the same." She made another cup, offering it to Abi.

"I do keep watch over the place. Someone has to punch the superpowered things that show up, and know not to punch elemental evil. ._. The Guards are worthless."

Tom: Well, as much as everyone loves bashing the guards, at least they are trying to be constructive. Young men with no jobs and too much time back where I grew up tended to join gangs and cause even more trouble.

::Then an entirely novel idea struck Tom::

Tom: Say, has anyone ever tried training them properly? They just lack training and discipline, and that's stuff that can be taught well enough...

"if it is training they need then why has no one shown them how to be better guards and also to respect people who had clearly a royal nature to them... no offence meant Mr. Tom" she stated shrugging. "and a pleasure to meet you, miss... I don't believe I got a name for you" she said turning to the distortionist. she curtsied a bit and smirked. "seems a lot happens around here, I think my stay may be interesting" she seemed to mention offhandedly her hand not as protective of her blade anymore.

"Zerexe Verion. Mmm...Perhaps they could be...I find most instead spend their time telling people to not drink in public." She cracked her neck, sparking. "I doubt most would take my training. They don't seem tough, or dedicated, enough." The woman drank her tea, humming softly as she thought.

"What's a Royal? A noble? Never been a fan."

"Oh, right, Felicia... She's being treated a bit better by the Knights I hope. Last she spoke to me she seemed distressed about their distrust of her" Swix sighed "I doubt anyone has tried training the guards.... though I thought they had a head guard?"

Meanwhile, Abi looked both shocked and strangely pleased at the suddenly offered tea from Zerexe as she took it "Thank you" she said as she began to sip it "Isn't a royal or noble someone who thinks themselves better than others purely because they were born into wealth that they didn't earn" Abi smirked. Swixes expression however had gone black "Almost as bad as the ones that ask for things and then refuse to pay up"

The Split was off her chair and over the table almost before anyone had time to blink. The look on her face promised agony.
