Happy Yule, and hope the apocalypse that people have been so worried about didn't treat you too bad ;).

It is the Winter Solstice in the UK today (or rather tonight), and I've been sat around a fire in a community allotment, with real wooden yule logs, sharing food, drink, alcohol and the companionship of others (my pagan friends ;)). So I thought I'd share the seasonal cheer with you guys too. Merry Winter Solstice! :D.

So far I've enjoyed the solstice, and look forward to a newly begun winter as well. Merry tidings for all!

It's currently -33 with wind up here in Canada.

Time to dig out the hoodies. Can't wait for the days to start getting longer.

Awesome MDude, glad to hear you enjoyed the Solstice too ;).

It's been raining more than it's been icy in England tbh, which is strange. It's not gone below freezing very much.

I'd turn to ice at -33 lol XD.

Bring in the longer days definitely.
