Illusions are real...
There are explosions everywhere, literally everywhere. A blast of noise and bright white lights where the creatures are coming out of. Each of the beings eyes glows a harsh yellow and not one of them has listened to any semblance of reason as they go on with their mindless rampage. Luckily, getting off a hit on one of the creatures that would hurt it causes them to disappear. Unluckily, they will then just emerge somewhere else and rampage there... and unfortunately, their attacks are very real, as evidenced by the trails of ice over the ground left by a gigantic golden eagle in its flight path, and the destruction caused by 'Red' near the Temple of Insanity.
This was a day or so ago, right now, the people in The Encampment are forming defensive barriers and patrols to try and make sure none of these beasts get too close.
And the Knights and others are naturally trying to do everything they can to find out what on Ana is going on.

Illusions are real...
Senka paused, listening to the sounds around her. It was the silence actually, more than anything, that had caught her attention. There was nothing here. No monsters, no explosions... well, that wasn't exactly true. There were still constant explosions all around her, as there had been for days.
But here, in this tiny fraction of the woods that she specifically could see... it was peaceful.
She sighed, let her sword dip, and leaned against a tree. Peace. Normality. The armored Knight hadn't been able to rest since this started. No one had, with all the explosions. Perhaps in this particular clearing, full of wildflowers and untouched trees, she could allow herself a few minutes of sleep.
She hadn't seen any of her fellow Knights since this whole mess started. The chaos at the temple, and constant appearence of more threats left them scattered. No one would see her napping.
Senka let herself fall to the ground. Days without rest. Every possible monster she could have imagined. What was going on here? Was it truly the end of the world?
Shame. She had just arrived here...

The Temple
Stationed right around the Temple's walls stood a platoon undaunted automatons guarding the sacred grounds. Silent, the tall grey robots would quickly erect an earthen wall to obstruct any incoming strikes that came too close since the bombardment began. Their collective core remained stationary below the ground for proper control. Grathon was not going to let the building fall like it did when the Collector's latest agent arrived with a crash.

Forest
The Flame Guard... a technique the huldra steadily trained in ever since the concept of the Endo-Skeletons were thoroughly explained to her by the robots creators. Solveig took a few different approaches during that time to most effectively utilize the multiple copies of herself. The range of optical abilities allowed for her to directly sync with the marvelous mechanisms over a larger distance than they could be normally used, even when caught in a split of focus in the vessels she had her reality written over.
That being said, she didn't have quite the innate grasp of precision in such a manner like her brother or 'sister' could with the polar eyes they had possessed. Instead of driving herself insane (which in Au'Marui's opinion might be in favor of if the situation wasn't so dire right now) by watching over each and ever Endo-Skeleton's thoughts and senses, she simply ran a basic simulacrum of her personality while funneling magic into them all.
"... You alright, miss?"
Worried, 'Solveig' went to help lift up the exhausted knight. "Even here is not a good place to rest, I assure you. Let me take you back to the Temple for assistance," she said in a concerned tone.

Horn & Halo
Complacent in the modest room he had rented for the time, the man known as 'Virgil' flipped through the pages of a book he kept on his person. Random sketches stretching from side to side and the various lines written down in his spare time was poured in to the brim; all quite hard to interpret excepts as thoughts of a madman. "... Nothing but the echos of those explosions still..."
Sealed shut, it and the other stray items that laid along his bed were gathered together in a bag slung over shoulder. Today should be when Blue said she be arriving, he mused. I'll just wait downstairs until then.

Senka rose quickly, stepping back and raising her sword wearily. How long had she been out? What devilish creature had snuck up on her while she was unaware?
"Oh. Sorceress." The Knight apologized, lowering her weapon. "I thought you might be one of those monsters that form of vapor. While easily dispatched, they continue to prove quite the pest. How did you find me? Are the other knights safe?"
Senka stretched.
"I'm afraid I cannot go with you. I earlier saw a peculiar light while on the clutches of a creature. I believe it might be the cause for all this, and I have been moving to attend to it."

Tom
Tom sat in the Control Room. He hadn't slept in 36...no 48 hours. He was constantly monitoring the Knights, deploying the overstretched force wherever he could, and if not that, trying desperately to contact the one being who might be able to help. An timer went off, and Tom, almost robotically, went and grabbed another cup of coffee, then went over to a communications panel.
"Knights HQ calling Au'Marui. If you can hear us, we are in a right mess, and could use some divine intervention or whatever you call it. Knights HQ to Au'Marui"
After another five minutes of this, he gave up for this hour, returned to his original console, and sat down.
"Alright, Knights, tell me what's happening this hour"
Thus he'd continue as long as he could like this, doing what he must, because right now they were one of the only ones who could.

Sorceress? Must be a term of endearment she gave the original Solveig.
"That is alright, I'm not surprised for you to have such a reaction after facing against these 'vapor beast' around here," Solveig reassured the Knight. "A peculiar light? Well, I can't let you go out alone to face whatever it is."
Flicking her wrist, a few will-o-wisps emerged out from the air. "I'll alert whatever of the Flame-Guard that isn't busy to follow us then," the huldra explained, letting the floating orbs wander into the forest. "Whenever you are ready."

Temple
~From the intel provided on my end; the Flame Guard have been sniping the creatures as soon as they appear, only suffering minor altercations when in combat.~
Grathon sent over to the human's mind directly, as it would be burdensome to either distract an automaton to speak or unearth himself to merely interact with the speaker system. He had to focus most of his attention directly to his 'pawns' so not to risk having too little oversight in their reactions in the elusive threats around them. Still, a basic status report to Tom proved hardly of a nuisance when done briefly as such.
"Things are staying calm so far, 'been keeping the floral barriers up-to-par," the Jentil answered to the intercom outside, oblivious of the accidental rhyme as he gazed over the surroundings in his 'rounds. "Anything strange will be said, so long as I don't drift to bed."
While not as exhausted compared to someone else, the sudden dispatch to the new mission yet strained him fairly harsh. Jent, since the last time the Temple gotten attacked when he stood by it, didn't need another disastrous occurrence on his watch; especially after the rather careless approach he used previously. Concentrate... just concentrate...
Steadying the Emerald Bow in his hands, the recent illusion that was vanquished nearly startled him against the Temple's walls. Perhaps he should had thought twice about leaving Blackstar so soon from his honeymoon?

Blinking a few times, he slowly shook himself out of the delusional state when hearing her caring voice. "'Straining myself a little bit with Distortion out here... 'Just don't want to slip up if another 'creature' swoops close by."

The Horn and Halo
Outside the Inn a woman dressed in black with leathery wings and tail, black hair and lightly glowing yellow eyes with black slits had just landed at the front doors. Even in an emergency the place was open.
Blue walked on through, looking for the person she'd promised to meet here. The man named Virgil that she'd met once before with the Goo called Aggie

"How could I not?" the Split said to her husband "I was right near you the whole time. Someone's got to keep an eye on you and make sure you're not overdoing it"

"Thank you. Your assistance is valued Sorceress. Who knows what we will encounter out there..." The tired Knight said softly. She gave her steel sword a swish as a warm up, then continued to trek onward to the mysterious light source through the forest.
"I find it strange the only creatures in seems to spawn are one's that are immediately combative, don't you?"

Locking the door to his room, Virgil went down the staircase to the main area of the Inn. ... How about that, he thought to himself, spotting the hybrid just as walked past the doorway whilst his stride along the steps. "Right on time, eh?"
The man went over and offered his hand to Blue in the greet to her. Apart from the weird noises from afar, nothing strange appeared to him today, not even in his dreams.

"True... thank you," Jent breathed out slowly, comforted by her presence there to watch out for him. "I'm glad to hear that, sometimes I just get carried away with it."

"Anytime at all," she smiled as she walked along with Senka. The huldra's eyes kept themselves alert in their trek over to the mysterious light source, just so they weren't surprised by a sudden 'vapor beast.'
"Yeah... Me and the other copies of Solveig been sniping them down whenever they appear to minimize the damage caused around her... Someone definitely is summoning these 'creatures' in mind something."

"Of course" Blue said as she took the mans proffered hand to shake it, smiling when she saw him come over "No reason to be rude, especially when I'm the one that made the offer. I don't know what you've already seen in your few days here but I'm sure that I can still help you out" the hybrid sounded quite calm and collected considering what had been going on.
The Temple
"You're welcome, and that is completely understandable, my husband. Just don't drive yourself crazy or to passing out. Can't fight if you're unconscious after all" she said as she gently smiled.
The Forest
Even as Senka and Solveig walked, the bright light grew and vapour beasts just kept on spawning.
