On the barren rocky land of The Pass, the moon that makes it's way between Ana and Kata via it's monthly orbit, serving as a counterbalance for the spinning of the two planets... It was cold and desolate, seemingly no sign of life on the black, dead rock... Until...
*Pop*
And with a pop, a white rabbit appeared on the Pass! This was no ordinary rabbit though, as on it's head was a glowing blue gem. It looked around curiously, standing on it's hind legs and sniffing at the air as it's fur darkened to a dark black to blend in better with the Pass' rock, and the gem on it's head also turned a dark navy blue. It's ears drooped a little as it noticed it was alone...
*POP! POP! POP!*
And with that, three more of these odd rabbits all dropped onto the Pass, all four looking to one another in confusion and in silence, the elder, the first to quite literally pop in, quickly cheered up.
And like that all four set their sights at the other planets... Kata and Ana, and then to themselves and started to plan. No doubt there would be predators and dangers on those other strange worlds... But on this barren rock maybe... They could make it work. They followed the example of the older rabbit by changing their fur and gem colour and then all four got to work searching for a soft patch of ground to dig in, or even a small cavern that they could call home, the very first part of their colonization mission.

Bunnies on the Pass!
The bunnies could not know that there was already an inhabitant there.
Siphonaptera Luna - Moon Fleas - laid dormant on much of the surface. They'd wait there until the celestial winds brought some unfortunate mammal - at which point their body warmth would awaken the fleas.
Just as the bunnies had done. The fleas were awakening, getting their first meals, and laying their first batch of eggs.

Bunnies on the Pass!
Grunting in agitation, the rabbits scratched at the itchy and irritating bites from the small insects, they already decided on where they will go next after locating an area to nest in, one poofing up it's fur as it wasn't fond of the idea the others gave, but went along with the rest of the lunar rabbits in their search.
Bunnies on the Pass!
... Peering out of tiny burrows scattered along the ground, several large salamanders sluggishly wandered out their homes. The strange amphibians were predominately orange in coloration with some splotches across the damp hides. Curiously, the amassed themselves in a small herd with the largest being an aged silver behemoth the size of a cow, chattering silently in some manner as a scout squinted at the strangers ahead.

Bunnies on the Pass!
Felicia appeared on the surface of the Pass, as she was wont to do, in one specific area for a particularly emotional view. She returned here quite often and stared up at the planetscapes ahead of her behind her wolf mask.
