The Deaian Paxian Village

The Split and the Jentil had both retired back to Swixes home world of Dea to concentrate on raising their child and keep each other safe. Everyone on Pax that knew them should be quite aware of this by now. However, what they were unlikely to know was that the pair had been busy in their own right as well, as they missed their friends from Ana.

So.... They had built a small village in one of the lesser populated areas of the planet Dea in order to invite and have space for the people on Pax that they missed.

And now, the village was finished, denoted Neutral by the grey light that shot into the sky as all Deaian villages were wont to have, and a portal was opened between Dea and The Encampment on Ana

A Split wearing grey stood at both ends-one in Ana on one side of the portal and another in Dea on the other side of the portal. The one in Ana seemed... mildly perturbed at what she saw there

Tom strolled up with his rifle slung over his shoulder. He tended to keep his rifle on him these days. Since the wars, he had come to be something of a local sheriff. Nothing official, but when someone either had trouble, they'd come to him. He didn't mind, it kept him busy and the food the people offered him in payment kept him fed. But He had resisted making it official...not after his last official job.

But if was for this reason he had hesitated to come to the invitation. He had found it on his doorstep, and after opening it he found it was an invite from the Je'Ix (has his amercanized Common tended to pronounce it) to spend some time with them on Dea. But the townspeople assured him they could live a few days without him, so here he was.

The perturbed grey Split smiled at Tom when he approached the portal, apparently relieved to see that at least one of the people that the Je'Ix had invited was at least very similar to them-a humanoid. "I see you got your invite" she said without even having to look "Step through the portal when you're ready, you'll find yourself in the centre of the new village by the light fountain. The two founders are waiting for you there"

After delivering the letter to where she knew of the ex-Knight's residence in town, Solveig went about to prepare her trip to Dea as well. Her 'doppelgangers' left behind in Grathon's control should help keep the surroundings in check with their own power. It wasn't too hard for the old immortal to tell that she wanted to visited her dear friends.

The huldra easily spotted the strange energy signature up ahead on her trek towards it, not to mention the two humanoids standing nearby. "I see you got the letter Tom," she said in a friendly tone, walking up to the both of them.

The grey clad Split smiled at the two of them, and reiterated for Solveig "You only need step through and they'll meet you on the other side"

"Well," Tom said, stepping toward the portal, "No time like the present" he said, and then stepped through the portal to whatever awaited him

Tom would find himself standing next to a column of grey light that shot all the way up into the atmosphere of the planet he was now on, Dea, in the very centre of the village itself. The buildings around them were wooden as well, similar to the ones in The Encampment-but very different at the same time, for they were coated in magic. The light fountain was at the centre of the settlement, in a wide open, stone paved space with benches around it in a circle. Sat on one of these was Swix, holding little Jinx in her arms and smiling peacefully at Tom. "Welcome to Dea, my homeworld"

Should he look into the sky around him, he'd notice that there were various other magnificently high beams of light in random places around them-though not all grey. Some were white, and some were of 'black light'.

The Split that was guarding that side of the portal had stepped aside the minute he'd felt a fluctuation indicating it's use.

Simply amazed at the array of energy surrounding the area, Solveig's pair of glowing eyes drank in the wonderful display of 'art' as she stepped through. She remembered watching the message that the ex-Knights left for them in Pax, though it felt far different when experiencing it herself. "It's been awhile Swix... Your daughter looks so beautiful."

The Jentil on the otherhand arrived a bit late to prepare for the portal's opening. Despite the letters given out for their friends, he wasn't sure how many would visit in the same day, so best to expect a few to be safe. Jent quietly waved at both quests as he went to join his wife and daughter to greet.

Swix looked at her husband as he came to join her before looking at Solveig, still smiling softly "It has... and she is, of course she is" she moved the cloth wrapped around her child so they both could get a better look at the brown haired, hazel eyed child "Our beautiful daughter"

Lurking in the bushes, a Floran sneaked through, eyeing the Split by the portal playfully... Creeping closer, and closer without a sound...

Before then suddenly dashing out to playfully tackle the Split wearing grey with an enthusiastic squeal!

The Split in grey squeaks as she's caught off guard by the Floran tackling her, falling to the floor in a ball. "Gah what's going on?!"

"Hello!" Thorn's voice cheeps playfully. "You like a pill bug, curling into ball!" She giggles playfully, hugging the Split.
"Isss Floran! Thought it be fun to play hunt you! Ssshow sssneaking ssskillsss... You not too ssscared? Not mean to frighten too much..."

"Uh... oh... You're like the plant girls she told us about! I'm not too scared, don't worry." She said nervously as she shook "I'll just be a little shook up for an hour... or three" She smiled again however as she regained some composure "You're very good at sneaking around! They're both waiting for you on the other side"

The Jentil rested his arm around the lovely wife, happy that they could be together in peace. The adorable sight of the two together left the Solveig a swelling of joy in her heart at seeing them. "Jinx will grow up well in your hands."
