<div class='spoiler_toggle'>spooky dreams</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">OK, I think this one needs it's own post: I dreamed I opened the door to the bathroom and some raccoon came down from the vent, and I wasn't sure what to do so I tried to scare it away from me a bit and I think it scratched me at least one before by dad came in. I tried scaring it around some more and then went and opened a window for it to go out through it case it wouldn't just go back up the vent or something, and we got it to go outside into the snow, which we don't have any of, actually, which further demonstrates that it is a dream. However, when I woke up, there was a scab on my forehead head from a cut I don't remember.
Edit: I should also note that I also got a cool looking pillow yesterday of a flaming skull and crossbones as part of a Secret Santa thing we did over the internet, and I now suspect it of being haunted. Edit2: Also a bit surprisingly, I didn't find any blood on my pillows or sheets. Edit3: Also, I called it a raccoon, but I don't think it looked quite like one, since it seemed more grey all over, without a striped tail. More indistinct I guess. Maybe like a giant mouse?</div>
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Night for January 16/17</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">Last night I dreamed that there was some kind of odd animal, like a translucent red pool toy, but that I was certain was alive. I could see it move, though often it only waved around slowly. I was certain it would try to attack and suck someone's blood, so I picked it up with the pool skimmer and tossed it over the fence, but it flew back over every time, landing on a red ball that floated in the pool and continuing to move it's tail (and/or trunk? I'm not clear what it had) disturbingly. No one else acted like they noticed it seemed alive, seeming to dismiss my attempts as silly.</div>
Oh hey, I had a really cool one, but I don't remember much of it. There was some kind of exiting thing I don't think I remember at all now aside from how cool it was, and then there was one where there was a show where people were showing off their inventions, and from that I remember some guy who wore a funny hat that he hit with a stick to make funny noises, while also making some with his mouth and voice. He was asked how he did it, but he declined, stating it was so simple that everyone would be doing it if he explained (how I think it works: wear a funny, spearhead-shaped hat that makes weird noises when you hit it). Then there was a group of people, and the show's host was showing us around, but all she got to show us before I woke up was this "Google Hat" that shows some kind of information by having an Android phone tucked under it and activating some motors. That was pretty fun, that dream, and I would have like remembering more of it. I think it helped put me in the mood for making stuff, so that's good too.
<div class='spoiler_toggle'>SUPER COOL WEIRD ZELDA DREAM (April 3, 1012)</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">A legend of Zelda game. I (as Link) was in a mountain, and there was some kind of path I was following. Things were getting pretty hard, and I think there was an ice area? Anyway, I start in some kind of desolate woods, constantly running into enemies, and wondering how I could survive having to face so many, with little sign of being able to recover health soon. I saw that I was reaching a new area due to the darkened narrowing in the path ahead, and expected to be greeted by even more monsters. I saw a few, but they seemed to thin as I reached a part where the road started to get covered in glowing blue pieces, like scales. I went along, and started sliding down it, entering another area, through the path remained covered in the scales.
On the way down there was a minigame of sorts where you collected both black hearts and regular hearts. The black hearts made your health bar look empty, though it wasn't, and gave some kind of bonus point. There were also hearts, which restored health as usual but also removed the Bonus point heart. There were still a few enemies, so I did my best to avoid those and grab some health, but also grabbed as many mystery heart items as I could. There were also pieces of hearts scattered along with the regular ones, which only removed as many bonus point hearts as you had health once you grabbed it, though it only restored a single heart immediately instead of all of them. Got three or so pieces of heart, a lot of the bonus hearts, and a regular heart or two, and things seemed to a have gotten pretty easy. I see a different path, but it requires an impossible swerve to enter, so I am forced to go down the main one.
In the new area, I see a wide expanse (or something) that the hill I'm on is facing. Sliding down, the cover I was on quickly ends. I get information that there is some kind of protector, with features part plant and part animal and having influence over the dangers of the land, and I will need to seek it's protection to survive. I see vines growing, moving, as the example of what infestation threatens me. Somewhat foreboding, but I find some kind of damaging slime spilling down the trail ahead of me, so I slow down, but vines have started covering the earth behind be at great speed, and I think I am doomed a moment before I realise the solution. Remaining in the gap between them, they eventually meet, at a spot where the slope has gotten steeper, and the vines reaching the slime causes it to extend off in a bundle. I climbed this, and was able to get to some kind of moving object just ahead.
The ground seems to have gone level, perhaps after a short dropoff. I grab onto the thing in front of me, hoping I would leave the two carpets of destructive material behind. On the large moving object, the protective force, I was informed to be on here. Though I thought it was wheeled, I didn't get a good look as they were blocked by the legs of the wooden legs. The object itself did not seem alive, being made of dried wood. Nodules of a sort cling to it, and I think this might be what I was looking for, but they turn out to be seemingly dangerous? I try to move past them, and I think I was attacked, but one of them picks me up and I am moved over it. I expect to discover the protective being soon, and see how it is to protect me and make the land less harmful, but I awake first. As usual, there seems to be some detail of the dream that I am missing, lingering...</div>
