Games and Gamestations here are finally closing down. Absolutely sucks that so many people are losing their jobs. Honestly, at first I was very surprised it was happening at all, but now that I think about it they spread themselves way too thin. You don't need three stores within a few minutes walking distance from each other!
And now retail gaming is in the hands of independent shops (which drop like flies in my area), and supermarkets (who rarely stock new PC games, usually classics like Grass Simulator 2012 and Coronation Street, Mystery Of The Missing Hot Pot Recipe. That last one is real, I kid you not!
See?). Whilst I firmly believe that moving towards digital downloads is a great thing because if there are no physical copies to produce they have NO excuse to keep the prices so high for downloads, but I understand that this isn't practical for a lot of people at the moment, especially in the UK.
